Travelling across the desert is no easy feat, and this pilgrim walks the scorching lands every year to reach the Pillar of the World. After so many journeys it is only natural for their scales to harden, to crumble and crack under the merciless sun. They seem to almost look like sandstone, yet that doesn't seem to stop them from their travel or curious eyes.
