Skins and Accents

@corvidus I adore the lanterncatcher accent! Makes me wish I had more PCs. x_x
The only thing that may need a change is the stick part, looks a bit awkward to me.

SORRY IF I DOUBLE-PING EVERYONE.......OTL) i think there's a little bit of touching-up that needs to be done here and there but other than that, i think this is more or less ready for submission. thoughts? (i'm also going to ping @niharike - i hope you don't mind! saw you expressed interest on tumbr c: ) @cov thanks! yeah, the stick didn't really add anything to it. i can put you on a pinglist for if i ever do a version for other breeds, if you'd like?

I actually prefered it before for my dragon :c The gold tips look a bit off on the black and the lantern bit on the wing was what really made me love it in the first place. The bamboo branches look good though!

(ping removed due to edit);ickyrus hmm, ok. i get where you're coming from (i was kind of attached to that bit, too!) the only problem with this - [img]http://i1.minus.com/ibba6Caw8cuRVQ.png[/img] is that i feel like it might be rejected because of the 30% coverage rule. a lot of it is translucent, but the rules are kind of unclear and i know they've been cracking down on it lately. (i was also worried it was going to look a little too busy but it's not too bad tbh). i agree with you re: the gold tips, definitely, they don't 'gel' with the rest of the skin so i'll probably just cut 'em. the other option i guess is to keep it how it was originally and make the flower parts a seperate accent, but i don't know really, aargh @U@ either way i'm open to suggestions! edit: for what it's worth, here's with the gold bits cut: [img]http://i1.minus.com/ibczr1ThPhMSlX.png[/img]

If you could layer accents everything would be fine, but I also think you should be fine with the coverage rule. I was nervous about one of mine when I did the spiral version but it made it through and I swear it covered more than yours does. Might be worth a shot to submit it though, lately that's only been taking a few days at most to get approva or notl.

Definitely love it more with the wing lantern though :D

Maybe you could do two versions though? One with just the flowers and one with the lantern
