Appearance:
Personality, Powers, Abilities and Weapons
Personality:
Originally very kind and willing to help those in need. Zhu Baizhong over his long life has become cracked and shattered, any part of the man he once was is now overshadowed by his grief and depression. No longer prone to speech, Zhu Baizhong often stares blankly ahead of him and seems to have lost the will to do most anything other than play Xiangyao, carve his memories into the walls of his territory, or create his pearls. Those that come across him can often get away by being quiet or extremely still if they get in his line of sight. Those that do draw his attention are often treated as if they were his cubs, and the most precious of treasures. That is until he realizes that they aren't his cubs and he either kills them in a fit of grief induced rage or they make a run for it while he is distracted.
Powers:
Heavenly Demon Blood: Those that partake in his blood are unable to disobey him if he wishes to enforce his will upon them. Zhu Baizhongs blood can be used to track, heal and manipulate the senses of those who have consumed it. More often then not he uses it to drive the ones who have gained his ire insane through auditory and visual hallucinations.
Cultivation: Zhu Baizhong has cultivated to a golden core, granting him immortality, a sturdier body, and a faster regeneration time. He is also able to weaponize his qi in short bursts, though he specializes in more finesse attacks of the mental variety. Using his Qi he also has impeccable control of his body and is able to utilize it to the best of its ability. Despite this immortality, however he is still susceptible to death from unnatural causes.
Dream Pearls: Pearls created from Zhu Baizhongs condensed Qi and a few drops of blood. They are able to show Zhu Baizhong and those that swallow them their deepest wishes and desires. If a pearl is crushed and powdered it will have the same affect on anyone who swallow or inhales the powder though it takes longer to take effect and is slightly weaker.
Dangerous Tides: Pearl Adorned Dream Foxes are creatures of water and dreams, allowing him a natural affinity to water and to illusions. Some of the latter going at least semi-solid when water is added to them.
Abilities:
The Four Arts: From a young age Zhu Baizhong was trained in the four arts. Mastery of the qin, weiqi (Go), calligraphy and painting. Giving him a scholarly air that has become a passive ability of his.
Swordsmanship: Through need and training, Baizhong has learned how to wield his blade with his own hands and with his Qi.
Weapons:
Yong Ai: A spiritual sword that Zhu Baizhong uses in order to fly and can control with his Qi. Yong Ai's blade is primarily silver but fades into various shades of blue as it reaches the central ridge like a tide against the coast, and is adorned with pearls along the guard and pommel. Her handle is wrapped in pale blue silk, and a sole black tassel adorned with a white jade ring and pearls for beads hangs from her pommel. If anyone but Baizhong tries to wield her she becomes extremely heavy and seals herself within her scabbard.
Xiangyao: A musical artifact that can change into different stringed instruments such as a qin, violin, or erhu. Xiangyao is spiritually bound to Zhu Baizhong and has a body made out of pale silver wood. When not in use she is wrapped in in white cloth and strung across Zhu Baizhongs back. Through this artifact, Baizhong can utilize musical cultivation to better his illusions and mental attacks.
Backstory and Other Info
Backstory:
He who is cursed to forever fulfill the wishes of others, and to have his own forever stolen from him. Basically adopted three (and one unofficial) kids, because he dreams of having a family, and they all ended up dead in various ways. The first to betrayal and misunderstandings, the second from going down the wrong path, the third (unofficial) from sacrificing himself due to the seconds schemes, and the final child was murdered brutally while he was gone.
Other Info:
- Often refers to himself as "This one" when in a conversation.
- Somehow always looks good no matter where he is. Could be standing in a swamp where everyone is covered and mud and he'd be spotless, and his hair never seems to get into his face no matter the situation. When asked about how he does this he merely looks amused behind a suddenly open fan.
- Can shift between human and fox forms, but generally stays in his human form unless he's raging or recovering from one.
Basic Information
Name:
Xiuying
Age:
Physically 14, doesn't know how long it's been since she died.
Gender:
Female
Species:
Thundering Tribulation Trailing Tiger
Orientation:
?? Unknown too young.
Fandom They’re From:
N/A
Canon or OC:
OC
Role:
Spirit
Height:
5'4"
Appearance:
Appears very pale and see throug with large splotches of blood coating her fine white and blue robes. There also seems to be bloody tear tracks coming from her eyes as if they'd been plucked from her head and then put back into place. Her wings are also a mess, with large patches of feathers missing and the remaining ones coated in blood.
Personality, Powers, Abilities and Weapons
Personality:
Relatively cheery, Xiuying was a very happy child while she was still alive. She is more than willing to help anyone who asks her nicely. Despite the trauma and the violence that caused her death, not much has changed. She often tries to act like a graceful and lofty adult, like how Baizhong used to be, but fails as she trips over her robes or lets her own childishness through by puffing her cheeks. On the rare chance that she does get angry or violent (usually if something tries to attack/hurt Baizhong), Xiuying becomes more like her a rabid beast or ancestors. The complete opposite of her usual behavior.
Powers:
- Misfortune Magnet: As a Tribulation Trailing Trailing Tiger, Xiuying has the ability to cause great misfortune wherever she goes. Though this ability is completely controlled by Xiuyings own emotions and is generally not in effect due to her happy-go-lucky personality and general wish to do no harm. In its passive state the worst it can do is make you trip over thin air, get a rock in your shoe, or stub your toe on a corner. Has a habit of sticking to virtuous people and siphoning off their life energy. Not a lot, but it will be noticeable if she spends a lot of time with them.
- Intangibility
- Electrical manipulation: She's able to create, shape and manipulate electricity that is generated from her hair and feathers. Mostly uses this to create little lightning balls to illuminate Zhu Baizhongs area or to play with.
- Levitation
Abilities:
Weapons:
Natural weaponry: Xiuying has the natural weaponry of her heritage. Her claws and teeth are hard enough to score metal while her wings are strong enough to dent it. Not that its very useful as she can only really interact with other ghosts and not with the physical plane.
Backstory and Other Info
Backstory:
Was picked up and raised by Baizhong until her untimely death. She followed him to the caves after binding herself to him as her "haunt".
Other Info:
Sticks to Baizhong like glue, and tries to protect both him and others from his grief.
Can't actually speak to living beings. She can talk, but it's almost like the words she makes can only be heard by other spirits or undead. The only sounds the living can hear from her are screams and cries.
Xiuying fluctuates in stability and strength depending on Baizhongs own mood and stability due to her being spiritually bound to him.
