Morgan gave Tanner a bored look. "I'm not hungry, in case you can't realize that, I had a big breakfast," She rolled her eyes as she pulled her phone out scrolling thru her social media. Elsie smiled and tried not to laugh as he interrigated Morgan, who was only half listening to whatever nonsense he was saying. Elsie quietly turned away from the two, who were talking about something that made no sense.
"Hey are you okay?" She looked towards Jayce, seeming worried. "You feel alright?" Pushing her plate in front of her, signalling she was done, she turned towards him, noticing his obvious change in behavior since Morgan had returned.

Tanner scoffed overdramatically at what Morgan said and turned away from her. He was somewhat disappointed he wasn't getting attention anymore.
"Sure, fine, whatever boring." He went back to munching his food and casually inhaling Jell-O as he normally does. Jayce quietly ate till Elsie started talking to him.
"Neh, I'm fine just disappointed in the food." He shrugged, but obviously wasn't 'fine'. Jayce just looked slightly unsettled. He kinda picked at his food while in deep thought.

"Are you sure it was the food?" Elsie said, looking at him over her phone. Even though she didn thave any special powers, she could tell something wasn't right between Jayce and Morgan. Elsie slid out of her seat and headed towards the trash cans, trying not to bump into anyone. On her way back, she looked down at her feet, making sure she didn't trip over anything. Her mistake.
"Hey watch where-" The blonde-haired boy cut himself off. "Oh shoot! I am so sorry!" She backed up, her cheeks blushed, embarrassed she hadn't been paying attention to where she was going. "Oh please sweetheart, don't stress yourself," He smirked as he approached her. "Well okay, I'm gonna go-" He cut her off. "Nope, sorry, you're coming with me," Her grabbed her wrist and started dragging her out of the cafeteria. Meanwhile, at the table:
The moment Elsie left the cafeteria, Morgan snapped up from her phone. "Guys, somethings wrong. It's Vance, he's got Elsie. We gotta go get her," Morgan shot up from her seat. "Gosh who knows what he's doing."

Jayce was almost finished with his food when Elsie left the table. Tanner had finished before him and was very distracted bugging Jayce.
"Wanna go to the library after your done? We gotta find info for the project anyways, right?"
"Yeah, sure. I have a sec between classes anyways." Jayce replied evenly. Tanner let out a small "yay" and quieted down while Jayce finished his food.
Jayce had noticed Elsie had been gone for a while barely before Morgan told the two about Vance.
"Hm? What? How do you know?" Jayce quickly stumbled to a standing position. "Where did they go?"
He began scanning around the room for Elsie, not able to spot him as easily. Tanner just awkwardly stood, not really knowing what was happening.

"Listen. I know you have some type of issue with me, but forget it, Elsie's the one person who actually wanted to be friends with me, and I'm not going to let a blood-sucking vampire get to her," Morgan growled as she stood up, shoving everything into her bag and leaving. "C'mon Tanner, even if you can't or won't, she gave you her Jell-O, the least you could do is come, she looks at you as a freind too. And Jayce, she wants to be friends with you, in case you cant tell," She yelled over her shoulder before she disappeared into the hallway.
Vance dragged Elsie out the back door, shoving her against a tree. The school was bordered by a forest, to explain the least. "You really do smell good, you know-" He was cut off by the back door slamming open. "Vance, get away from her. Now," Morgan sent him a death glare. "And why would I?" He responded, looking rather defiant.

Jayce felt a chill when he realized what morgan said. Vance was a Vampire. It had not really ever occurred to Jayce even though he had noticed how strange Vance was. Jayce grabbed his bag hurriedly (that was already full of his stuff.) and followed Morgan out of the cafeteria. He grabbed his tray too and threw it in the trash on his way out. Tanner did the same, but shoved his Jell-O into his bag. There was fewer teens wandering around so, neither Tanner nor Jayce ran into anyone on their way out.
As when Jayce exited the door, the first thing he saw was Elsie pinned to a tree. He clenched his teeth and glared at Vances defiant face.
"Take a guess, jack*ss." Jayce snapped pointedly. "Let. her. go. now."

"Oh please, you think I'm going to give her up that easily? Think again, Jayce," Vance snarled as he turned around, his eyes a amber-gold color. "In all honesty, I would like to know what she means to you, she smells rather intoxicating," He bit his lip. "Vance, you have a girlfriend, don't be a perv, back off," Morgan growled as she held herself back, making sure to control herself.
Meanwhile, Elsie stood where she was, looking around for a route to escape, or to at least hide.

Jayces fists were clenched angerly as he watched Elsie.
"This is the last time im telling you vance. Get off of her, leech." He began to advance towards the two, practically growling out his words. In the back of his head, he realized it probably wasn't the best idea to start a fight on the first day of school, but he didn't care at this point.
Tanner watched with concern. He wasn't planning on getting involved, but he was there if backup was needed. Violence wasn't quite his kinda thing.

When Vance realised he was out numbered, he rolled his eyes as he backed off. "Fine. But I'll be back," He growled as he disappeaered into the forest. Elsie stood there for a bit, trying to comprehend what had happened. Once she recovered, she shot towards whoever was closest to her, who happened to be Jayce.
Hugging him she smiled. "O-Oh my g-gosh thank you so much for saving me!"

Jayce glared at where Vance once was for a second. He kinda awkwardly half hugged Elsie back.
"Uh- yeah." Jayce kinda stuttered, but then smiled softly. "No worries, I'll make sure Vance leaves you alone. I doubt he ever thinks anything through." He said the last words sharply, still angry about Vances audacity. He pulled away from the hug realizing Morgan was probably glaring daggers through his back.
Tanner took this chance to run up to Elsie.
"Good thing Captian America is here!" He happily elbowed Jayce "As his sidekick, I am at your service and will protectyou with all costs." Tanner bowed deeply, then straightened up.
"But in all seriousness, I'm glad vance is off of you for now." He frowned slightly with worry.
