Sasha was walking around the streets of the city. She looked up at the big corporate building where she needed to get the item that was on her list. The Skyscraper-like building was basically Sasha's and her family's ticket to a better life. She looked down at the crowd. For a futuristic life... people sure like to walk. She moved through the crowd. Her plan was simple. (Not going to explain it yet). She would just get in and out. Easy. The only thing she could think could go wrong is that someone gets in her way.

High up in the air, on the roof of the corporate building, a shadow moved.

Aless's eyes scanned the crowd down below, looking like ants. Carefully, she pulled out her EMP, activated it after attaching it to the main control system on the roof, and flicked her wrists. Two serrated blades of cyan lit up, and she slashed through the grates of a vent.

Carefully and quickly, she slipped inside the vent and began to navigate it. Soon, she found the room where the chip was held- exposed, with no security as she'd deactivated it. She decided to wait and see if anyone else would show, then when no one did, she took the chip and left a fake in its place, then slid into her hiding space in the vent.

She wanted to watch the expression on her father's face- or his accomplice's- when they found the replica of the chip.

Sasha decided now was the perfect time to make her move. She made her way in the building and quickly made her way to a bathroom. She had an odd feeling in her arms. It was an electric tingling. She thought nothing of it and clamed into a small vent. She shimmied her way through and to the room where the chip was. She busted the vent cover and jumped in. Nothing. Not even a single Lazer. It wasn't really suspected for a big company. Not even a shield. "Odd" she said to herself. Now was not the time to dwell on it though. She grabbed the "chip" and jumped back in the vent She made her back through the vent and left. That was easy. She didn't know why.

With a cool smile as she watched Sasha scramble into the room, Aless reactivated the security system and scurried away. They'd catch sight of her, pin the blame on her, and all the while Aless should be fine.

She did feel a little guilty though. A cybernetic-armed girl, with ashen skin that showed deficiency of something. Something bad must've happened to her. Climbing up to the roof, she checked her locator. Everything done, now she'd be free.

But she didn't want to leave the city. Not without knowing what happened to the girl, at least. So she followed, a ghost hidden among thousands of wires (buildings and objects) and hollow shells (people), watching the girl without ever being caught.

Time to see what happened to her.

Sasha could instantly tell that The cops where on high alert. How is that possible, everything was off when she was there. She moved through the crowd swiftly and smoothly. She looked over at a cop who was looking over the crowd. She pulled her scarf up and fixed her gloves. She moved to a less populated part of a city where she could at least relax a small bit. She never knew that someone was following her. She kept moving until the sun was starting to go down. Sasha looked around and went into a bar. She went to the back where a phone was. She called... "Hello... yeah I got it... oh my gosh thank you... um right. thank you..." She looked down at the "chip" . She sighed in relief and sat down at a table and ordered a drink. She thought she won... for the first time in her life.

Hearing the words as Aless pretended to serve, she winced. This was awkward. But when she was called upon to serve a drink to the customer, she immediately froze up and thought of something to say.

"Uh... welcome! What drink would you like to order today, miss?"she asked politely, her blades hidden and the chip concealed. Aless couldn't help but facepalm internally- she'd completely screwed that up, right?

"Oh yes please" Sasha said as this waitress approached. This waitress seemed to be very awkward. "Um can I have... just some hot chocolate please: She said as she kind of leaded back in her chair. She felt odd about this waitress. Seems like she was sweating about something. Not her problem though. She looked down at the table and thought about what could come next in her life. If she did this, she could be in for more missions. That could mean more money. That would be good.

“Sure thing!” Aless forced a smile and went to pour Sasha a mug of hot chocolate, warm with marshmallows and a dollop of whipped cream on the top. As she set it on the table, she added, “Chocolate’s on the house, by the way. Enjoy!”

She headed back into the staff area, hiding behind the door where she could both listen in and hide. She noticed a ladder near her, leading to the second floor serving area- perfect for climbing up and escaping.

Sasha smiled as the waitress gave her the hot chocolate. "Thank you very much miss" She said. She took the cup un her robotic hands. It was nick and warm to her. She took a si[. It had a strong and warm flavor. Her whole body warmed up by the drink. It was good. It reminded her of home. She went through her plan in her head again she would fine an in quickly, get some **** eue and head to the base first thing in the morning.
