This is a reboot of an rp with the same name by the wonderful @/XxColtwingxX. This rp will not a have a set story to start out with, the only thing set in stone is the castle and the surrounding town. Pretty much everything is allowed, crazy unique races, cool powers, any role you can imagine. Just be kind and have a good time! If you were not a part of this rps precursor don't worry! Everyone is allowed :) A couple things to remember: - This rp takes place during some sort of medieval fantasy time period - The majority of the castle is open to the public, this is where a lot of the old rp took place so I assume that's how it'll be this time as well. - You may also make characters/lore for neighboring kingdoms if you so desire. I.E if someone request the rp slows down so they don’t get left behind- slow your roll. Being outright mean is only tolerated in character. - Write a minimum of 3 sentences per post. - It’s highly recommended that you add a header to your post containing your characters name, location, and who they are interacting with. - You must wait for 2 unique posts in between each of your posts. This way people won’t get so easily left behind. - No posting twice in a row. Yo yo home fries

[center][size=5][font=Book Antiqua][color=#57372C][i]The first day of autumn has so far been a good one. The weather was mild with gray clouds looming overhead and a light breeze that can't quite push them out of the sky. The air was filled with the sound of leaves rustling, birds singing, and the quiet voices of all those who live within the kingdoms walls. Only a few days were left until this years harvest could be brought in, everyone was excited to see what sort of money they could make with their crops. In the castle things were quiet. It seemed as if even the rats in the cellar had taken the day off. There were no worries about rival kingdoms, no fears about what lurks within the darkened wood, not a bit of concern for those strange new faces wandering the town. All is well but can we be certain things will stay that way?[/i][/color][/font][/size][/center] [center][img]https://i.imgur.com/PRyH9lP.png[/img][/center]

Firion was currently talking to Bartz who had pestered him about escorting the eighteen year old prince to his room in the castle. “You know that you shouldn’t have pestered me, Bartz… Why couldn’t you pester the head knight or someone like that.” He growled softly when he looked at Bartz.

“Y-you know how Miss Alex is… She’s scary!” Bartz said softly. He clearly didn’t want to be separated from Firion.

Ace was currently working on perfecting a new spell that he had learned recently just to celebrate the harvest being brought in. He said the incantation and accidentally caused a loud explosion in the room that he normally dwelled in that was loud enough to be heard for several miles.

“What a beautiful day.” Lily said getting up from her bead and stretching. She walked up to her window and opens it a crack to see if it was wi day or not. “A bit brisk though.” She said sitting it fast.

“Why are you talking to yourself” Someone in her reflection said as she did her hair in the mirror. She wore a long sleeve burnt orange dress with a gold trim. A long dark green shawl was draped over her shoulders, and she did her hair was in an up-due with a beautiful maple leaf- shaped clip.

“You look prettier then usual.. Hm… ARE YOU TRYING TO IMPRESS SOMEONE?!” the voice said as she put on her necklace.

“No. And even if I was, you know i wouldn’t tell you.” She replied calmly.

She went to the kitchen and grabbed a pastry for breakfast. Lily then continues to the library to pick up another one of her romance novels.

“If you keep reading those, no ones ever gonna want to be with you.” the voice continued.

The queen sat in her throne room, looking blankly ahead as she often does when there is nothing to be done. The room was very cold but she did not mind, she was probably the reason for the frigid temperature. Even though nothing was on her mind she still felt as though her thoughts were interrupted when an unpleasant noise shook the window panes. Must be one of those mages... maybe she should make a rule to discourage destructive magic being used around the castle.


Gray stood in his office reorganizing the shelves for the fifth time today. Each time he did it the only thing that changed was how many loose papers fell out of the various tomes. Behind him a featherless friend made itself comfortable on a cushion placed on top of another wooden shelf, this one covered in medical instruments and wooden boxes. A string was strung between the two tall shelves and on it hung herbs. There were not many left though, he would have to gather more sometime soon. Maybe a knight could accompany him?

The sound and vibrations of the explosion made him turn around, looking around eagerly for something to do, but, of course, he didn't see any attackers, darn. Byron opted to go check it out anyway. He left his post and started off towards where he had heard it come from.

Byron was genuinely curious, was there an eruption of black smoke? Did the mage accidentally combust? Would he have to bring a broom? He pondered the last question for a good few minutes as he walked.

Nearby, there was a large boom noise. Lily had just started her walk around the grounds with her book when she curiously flew back in the castle to see what the fuss was about. When she saw the plume of smoke she started to worry. “Good heavens, what’s going on?!” She said to one of the guards rushing in.

Ace ended up coming out of the smoke and was covered in soot. He was coughing slightly due to the smoke that he had been exposed to and seemed to be a little disappointed about accidentally causing a failure. “It was not supposed to happen like that…” He muttered softly. He lightly fluttered the crimson wings on his back in an attempt to shake all of the soot off of them. “Good thing I’m fireproof!” He said softly.

Bartz was spooked by the loud noise and clung tightly onto an unamused Firion.

Firion just simply walked away and entered his bedroom. He didn’t want to be near Bartz at the moment.
