Zane glanced around the hallway and gave a light shrug of his shoulders, “We can sit on the ground or got over to the stairwell and sit up on the flats, I think it would be really calm up there.” he suggested while using the bottle of flavored water to point toward the double doors that led upwards.
“I don’t mind though so it’s really your decision Boa.” The dark user added calmly.
After getting a decent tray of food, Ivan left the cafeteria and walked around for a bit. Before long he found what looked like a courtyard. He pushed his way through the double doors and gazed around in awe. He smiled and quickly situated himself in the shade of a thick tree. He hooked the headphones into his ears before gently pressing his back against the cool trunk.
Ivan hummed and placed the tray on his knees, then started to eat.

Arid smiled at Micah, "So you are basically toxic, eh? So if i just asked you to, you'd poison someone for me? That's a lot of power, huh?" She decided to eat some more after a while. Then pushes it away cause she would rather have tacos. But she was distracted from that thought by kori who talked about his form. "Is it nice to look at? Or will i want to tear my eyes out?" She chuckled

Boa kinda considered, he figured sitting on the stairs would be nicer so he agreed with stairs. He more than happily walked over, climbed it to the next floor, sat on the top and let his feet rest on the next one. He smiled at Zane, "it IS nice here"

Despite his less than active appetite, Kori decided to take a few bites of his food, knowing he would regret it later if he didn't. It didn't taste bad, but he wouldn't call it a favorite either. They were getting food later, so he didn't worry about it.
He laughed at Arid's reply and smirked playfully. "Now, I believe that is up to interpretation. Most humans find it scary, so I thought I'd play it safe for now. I think these sunglasses make it look better, though. I'm not saying my eyes are horrendous or anything, by the way, I just prefer the sunglasses."
He went silent momentarily, accidentally letting that sentence hang in the air before he spoke up again. "Anyways, I'll have no hard feelings if you do end up disliking it," he added with a smile. "I can just go back to my human-looking self if that becomes the case. Though, maybe don't tear your eyes out, because that would make a mess and we'd have to clean it up before the cops arrive and take us to demon jail. Oh, and get you to the hospital too, I guess."
He used a teasing voice, his playful smirk shifting to a wide grin.

She gave him a warm smile, "I'm sure i won't tear my eyes out if you are only half disgusting. High standards, sorry" she then took her tray, and got rid of it along with the food she hardly touched. She sat down again, "You better not skip out on me and get tacos" she chuckled softly, knowing he would stay true to his word and get the tacos.

Evie nodded at Mary. “Of course. Come sit. As long as you’re not afraid of being haunted by a dream demon, of course.” Her voice was only half joking. “Kidding, kidding. Come sit!” She gestured to the empty seat.
Ada stared at the remains of a charred black substance on top of her dish. “Pretty sure I got toxic waste, but they put it in the oven and let it sit for six hours. How about Evie? Let’s see.” She held her breath and peered at the Death elemental’s dish. “Oh LORD-“
Evie had something that looked strangely like a pearly white skull with the same black substance next to it, but now it smelled horrible. The cafeteria workers were glaring at her, and Evie understood. “Oh, yeah. Forgot to mention the prejudice and hate you get when you’re a Death dealer,”she said rather dryly, pulling out a tissue to clean off the skull.

Wally was glad the two sisters accepted Mary's presence, beaming at all three of them. It was as if the earlier incident in the math classroom never happened; at least, on the surface. Truth be told, he was still a little bothered by it, and he would only become more troubled later.
Especially when he eventually took another look at the drawing he had harshly scribbled into his notebook.
He snapped himself out of it immediately, glancing up to see what Evie and Ada had on their trays. His eyes widened as he saw what they were served.
"What... what is that even supposed to be?" he asked, dumbfounded. "Was the food set on fire or something?"
He glanced at Evie's tray, then at the cafeteria workers glaring at her. He frowned worriedly, moving his gaze away from the workers and back to Evie. He didn't like the looks they were giving his friend, and he made it clear through the uncomfortable and apologetic expression on his face.
"Why do people have to be judgmental all the time?" he questioned sadly. "It's like they have to know every single thing about you before they can even begin to stop giving you weird looks. I don't like it at all. I never have."
A realization soon came to him after he spoke. "Was there anyone staring at us during math, Evie?"
Kori giggled. "I do hope I can at least meet your standards," he joked. He watched Arid as she got up and disposed of her tray and food. He would have asked if she'd gotten enough to eat if he forgot about what they were going to be doing after school.
Grinning back at her, he rested his chin on his hand. "Heh. I would never pass up on eating good food with friends. Now if this day could hurry along so we can get to the tacos, that would be great."

Zane smiled and quickly followed beside Boa. He waited until he was situated on the stairs to take a spot right beside him.
He leaned back a slight bit, letting his back gently rest on the next stair upwards. He pulled at the sides of the chip bag and opened it up, but simply placed it next to the bottle of water without taking a piece. He closed his white orbs for a second to feel the sunlight braise the locks of his hair. He took the water bottle into his hands and took a slow swig of it. When he finished, Zane placed it back down next to the bag of chips then looked over to Boa.
He gave a chuckle, “Yeah, it really is.” he agreed.

Evie shrugged. "Don't think so. Even if they were staring, it's not like we can do anything about it. And people are judgmental of things they were raised to dislike, which I can understand. I don't agree with it, but I understand why."
She turned to the food and picked up the skull, polishing it. "Hmm. This could make a nice decoration."
-
Ada chuckled. "We're served this food because we're a Death dealer and her family. We aren't really normal, and in Evie's case, she's hated." She twirled her fork in the air rather aimlessly.
"Nice sandwich. Want some goop for it?" She gestured to the burned radioactive wastecharred remains on her plate. "Totally edible."

Boa was happy to be somewhere with only Zane, which meant it was peaceful and silent. He never liked being forced to socialize, but it's not like he would be rude. He tried to be social, but really he was too awkward for that. He could only really one on one conversations. He gave Zane a warm smile in return before actually eating anything.
Arid grinned, "Good, because I may have to drag you to the tacos if you had said no of any sort. But we should stop talking about it, it's a long time away. It's like teasing me with delicious goodness" She whined since she was hungry but didn't want what they served. "Do you think its gonna be a long time before we can?"
