Lupe || Hrafna (@/Eskria), Lorelai (Mentioned briefly)
Nothing then, at least not unless there was a secret compartment somewhere only the assumed to be Captain could open up. A double take upon peeking out of the room as she spoke revealed that she was also still fairly wet from the water, so odds were she knew if it was cold enough or not for the wind to start dropping body temperatures even slightly below average. A slight mental berating prodded him for being paranoid about the wrong thing, but just nodded again at the sentiment that sniffles were better than bullet holes.
Medicine definitely wasn’t a bad idea. Out of the things that’d made it into their bag, ‘anti-bacterial’ beat out medicine considering they had a worse habit of needing to clean cuts than cure sickness.
The offer to join her had Lupe leaving the room, following after as the planner made her way towards the stairs. Better not to be alone if you were snooping around right? Maybe if they were lucky, the two of them could find some of that weird stuff the old man had used to supposedly help Lorelai’s poison. Who could say if it was entirely trustworthy, but if it was between the chance of it working or a guaranteed death by poison?
Yeah… not much of a question there.
He was a bit surprised when Lorelai had come upstairs not long behind them, not so much by the fact she was up and about again, more so that she actually smiled at him in passing. Apparently whatever offense he might have caused prior was forgiven, offering a similar look in return as she passed and rejoined the group.
It then occurred, with no lack of mental face-palming, that despite having managed to actually have a conversation with her (even if the topic was surviving this experience), he didn’t even know her name. That in a bout of idiocy he apparently had forgotten basic human interaction (though to be fair, he didn’t really branch from his usual social circle) in the form of introductions. After a short beat of mental kicking and just rip off the bandage dang it, he was still over-thinking in asking her name and really just had to hope she’d volunteer it, “Lupe. By the way.” He pointed at himself to drive the point home that it was his name, doing okayish at hiding the awkwardness that was trying to learn to trust new people. A Near death experience and going heisting together was about the time you started learning people’s names, right?
((If anyone needs me to slow down or anything just let me know :0. I was just continuing since him and Hrafna are doing their own thing at the moment))
