Roleplay

Over the past several decades, more and more people have been born with powers inexplicable by science. These superhumans in themselves are the source of controversy, legally and socially, causing them to commonly conflict with the much larger group of non-mutated humans. However, though these abilities are scary to some, older superhumans are still trying to help the next generation hone their powers and gain camaraderie so that they may effect positive change in the world as well.

You are invited to a summer camp with this exact aim: Mr. Monday's Superhuman Summer Camp, shortened to Superhuman Summer or SSC by most. You were invited personally by Mr. Monday, a Santa Claus-looking man in a white suit, to attend the inaugural cohort of the camp. In exchange for honing your skills and becoming a shining example of superhumanity, he showed picturesque views of the forest, quality lodging, and many fun things to do, no matter the type of person. He leaves a letter and calling card with you and your guardian(s); do you accept the offer?
This is a spiritual successor to another RP of the same name held here on FR a couple of years ago, but I went on hiatus and it was later deleted for reasons that I still don't quite understand ovo"" Anyway, it's a summer camp for people with superpowers! It was really fun last time so maybe it'll be fun again!

1. Follow FR rules! Specifically, I must stress to not harass people and keep roleplay PG-13 at most, whether regarding graphic violence or romantic relationships. This is a good Christian dragon site, so this will be a good Christian roleplay. Worst case, fade to black is your friend.
2. Try not to godmod. It's difficult to make specific rules regarding this but give your characters flaws and don't make them too overpowered over others.
3. Try to stay active, with good grammar and spelling and descriptive posts. If you need to drop out, please PM me! I don't bite and I won't take it personally if life gets in the way!
4. This is an original universe, so please don't have OCs with references or ties to any other media. For example, don't play Izuku Midoriya, or a burgeoning member of the Avengers.
5. Feel free to play multiple campers, as long as you can keep track of them all.
6. If you have any other questions or concerns, don't be afraid to ask!
7. If you've read all of this (thank you), put your favorite color at the end of your character form!

Name: Leonid "Leo" Novikov

Gender: Male
Power/Ability: Leo has saliva that is incredibly corrosive, allowing him to chew through and consume almost anything. He also has sharp teeth similar to a shark's, where they break off and erode away often and new ones grow and shift to take their place. However, this means that he has to constantly wear a medical mask lined with stainless steel, lest his sneezes become deadly. Even his exhalations can irritate the mucus membranes of others, hence the mask. He also has a proficiency in climbing, but this is due to years of practice and not superhuman ability.
Sexuality: Who Knows? He sure doesn't
Personality: Leo is a snarky young lad that is naturally distrusting of others. However, once he does start to trust someone, he gets attached fairly quickly and is fiercely loyal. He enjoys finding secret areas, whether that be cramming himself into small spaces or scaling walls. He dislikes the heat and the outdoors (the two main points of a summer camp) but he is also poor and needs the free food and training.
Appearance: Leo is a tiny, very pale boy that constantly looks like he hasn't slept in months. He looks like he's about 11, with skinny little limbs, raggedy pale blonde hair to his shoulders, and bruises everywhere. His blue eyes are sunken in, and his cheekbones are high. He wears a regular light blue medical face mask everywhere he goes, with a stainless steel plate on the inside. He commonly wears the same grey hoodie with jeans and sneakers.
Backstory: Leo is a poor child whose father left at a very young age. His mother is an uneducated Russian immigrant that works as a maid and lives in a dilapidated New York apartment. As a result, Leo is a latchkey kid that is largely independent. When Mr. Monday arrived, Leo's mother all but threw her kid at this rich man, hoping that he would gain some opportunity that she would ordinarily be unable to provide.
