The Gift Of Magic
Magic is such a beautiful and powerful thing. It is something that some are born with, while others have it simply because it was given to them for some reason. Usually magic is given through items. It is very important that these items are not given in the wrong hands. One false move, can lead to disaster. Unfortunately, those with magic struggle to unlock their full potential. Some are completely unaware that they can use magic.
This is where it all begins. A strange man knocks on your door. Your parents talk to him, while you are still a bit busy with your chores. Some time later, your parents tell you to meet at the dinner table. You do as you are told, and sit comfortably on one of the chairs. The strange man smiles and sits across from you. You notice something odd about him. He has no right arm... Instead, he has a arm made completely out of magic and metal. Same thing goes for his Right leg. You decide not to say anything about it.
"Hello. I do apologize for interrupting your day. I came because we were informed that you may have a magic-touched item, or you were born with magic. With this in mind, I would like to invite you to join us." He said, before reaching in his satchel with a metal-clawed hand for an envelope. He hands it to you. Inside there is a card. You pull it out of the envelope in curiosity. "There is a school. A school in which will teach you how to control whatever magic you have. You will also be able to unlock your familiar, in which will guide and help you during your education. I am a student there, and a few other students have been sent out to give people like you this information. If you do decide to join us, there will be a test. A test in which will help determine what classes you'll be taking. I do believe that is all I have to say. The card says the location on the back. Do not lose it. If you do not accept the offer in a month, the card will burn itself into ashes. Have a good day."
With that, the man stands up and takes his leave. With that, you are left with a question. Should you enter the school? That's all up to you...
Hello! So this is a magic school rp. Your character accepts the invitation and decides to go to the school. There, they will meet other magical beings just like you. There are several different types of classes, each ranked on power, and what kind of magic a person is able to do. Here are the following types of magic:
*Elemental (Extremely common)
-Fire
-air
-water
-Plant
-Earth
-Shadow
-Light
-Electricity
*Blood magic (RARE 2/2)
NOTE:) Blood magic is a magic that requires the user's blood. You have to keep in mind that in order to cast anything, it involves self harm. This magic is used very carefully for the safety of the students. The Blood magic users are able to open realms through rituals, as well as being able to cast ancient powerful spells, as long as it requires blood.
*Potion brewing (common)
* Creation (RARE 2/2)
NOTE:) Creation is a very rare magic art in which can turn one thing to another. Such as turning dirt into water. This magic art is very dangerous if not used properly. It could cause the person to literally tear themselves apart. The larger the item or living thing, the more dangerous it can be. ))
*Future sight (SUPER COMMON)
Note:) These people may also see visions and deliver prophecies.
*Animal speaking (Common)
Note:) These people are able to speak to animals and use them to the person's benifit. They have a constant connection to animals. The familiar doesn't count, as every magic user has one.
* Spirit speaker ( Uncommon)
Note:) are able to speak to sprirts in other realms. They cannot go into the realms themselves. These users can also speak to lost souls who have departed and still roam the earth. Spirit speakers may also tell prophecies. (Just like future sight users) If a spirit speaker has a familiar, they are able to do traditional magic. They are unable to do the spells reserved for blood magic users and creation users.
Of course, everything can't always be peaceful and happy. There will be conflict. Recently, corrupt creatures begin to emerge from the shadows. These creatures are called Husks. They are people who have been corrupted and let their magic consume them. They come in many forms, and attack any magic user. If the kill is sucessful, they gain that magic user's power and grow atronger. A school with a bunch of magic users is almost too good to be true. It is common in the school for Husks to attack. Only the strongest fight them. How long until the Husks finally get their way? Hopefully, you will do something to prevent them from attacking and killing your fellow classmates.
