CM shook his head respectively, clearing the trap with his tail while speaking "Let the others choose first, if you will. I'm not quite hungry as of yet"
He heard the two dancers up ahead chattering, and his ears twisted with interest. He cleared the entirety of the trap, then walked around it, now aware of his surroundings once again.

Ebony shut his mouth and carefully loosened his grip, nodding to Eran, who winked back. He slowly slid along the branches, narrowing his eyes. His fellow, disguised amongst the leaves, hovered a little more... and slid through the leaves.
A few rustles could be heard here and there. Soon, Eran reached nearly the middle of the path, and covered his face and neck with the hood. Stretching his arms, he leaned forward and looked over the Clan Master.
An imposing blue Gaoler! Last he’d seen one was years ago, before Rakish had been imprisoned with Floppy for trying to kill Contagion. Perhaps that had led to her mental...snap...
Shaking his head, he angled his head to the left, and Ebony began to head to the back. They slowly started to inch towards the familiar with her three large deer, getting ready to either loot the Centaur Archer and take her food, or die in the attempt.
Eran noticed Asher, and decided to curse in his mind. They had been starving for literal weeks, and it had taken a toll on them both. And now, this irritating dragon flew up and practically yelled out loud that they were here.
Plan failed. Again.
But, on the other side, Ebony failed to give a claw’s worth of care about the fact that there was a dragon with them. Shapeshifting? Any advanced magician(well, not his brother, though he was learning) could do that with enough effort. Just look at Ocula, shifting left and right. He simply approached the archer as quietly as possible.
His brother inhaled and followed, ignoring Asher.
(should they though? or do you have anything in mind for their introduction, dart? meepster, are you okay with Usaliti’s deer getting stolen? or maybe just one getting stolen? your choice.)

Well, Xixi’s wheels were cleaned out completely. She absolutely can’t wait to have to clean them again in the space of five minutes when they’ll start moving again.
Putting away that bit of frustration, she glanced at the trap. Wasn’t there supposed to be no civilization for miles? Who put it up? It was a good thing they didn’t fall into it, but just making a dragon fall into it seems counterintuitive because. Y’know. Most breeds can fly.

(i'm fine with them meeting like this! also side note, CM is no longer the gaoler i had originally intended -though im using that for something different later- he's now a large imperial! if you look through the OOC you should see him. I'll be back here soon<3)

CM kneaded the ground below him for a moment, a low snarl emanating from his thick throat. With speed just above average for his breed- but still getting cut by thorns and branches-, CM was practically on top of Ebony. He didn't snarl or snap at the dragon, but his opposing figure spoke for him.

Chase flew down from the sky, landing behind CM, ready for his command. He didn't have his snake on his back as the little guy was sleeping. Chase did, however, adjust himself in a calm, subtle fighting stance.

Backing away slowly, he began to conjure up a little bolt of lightning, enough to give this new Imperial something similar- but stronger than- a static shock and hopefully free his brother.

Eran was not afraid. Well, he was, but not too much. He had sworn to die with Ebony if it came down to it, and he focused on the lightning sparking in his talons, the energy coursing through his claws. As long as he didn’t trip over and strike someone else, he would be able to zap the Imperial and pull Ebony free.
Maybe they did stand a chance!
