Ghost
After a while of thinking I decided to ask Isaac about what had happened. I climbed out of my hammock and laid my stuff down. I checked my gloves were on and my cloak was wrapped around me before looking for Isaac.

Eliza White
Eliza just sat there, unable to move. She watched Isaac with concern, though.
She tried to catch his gaze, to send a silent message. Something.

Isaac
I returned to Eliza's cabin with one last glance around. I shut the door carefully behind me and sat in the chair next to her. "Are you alright now? Do you need anything? I'll be going down soon. Night is approaching."

Eliza slowly turned her head to look at him with her tired eyes, "His mind..." she said, "The things... He had plans... What he wanted to do..." A shiver rolled down her spine, "Terrible... Things..." Her words were slow as she stuttered through her sentences, "...I messed him up... Enough... He won't... Remember anything..."

I knelt down next to her. "It'll be alright. He's not coming back." I didn't want to know what he wanted. I had known enough men like him to know that I didn't want to.

"...Why did you..." She started shifting so she could take his hand, "...Back there... You said... It was you... Why did you...?"

Isaac
I came closer to make it easier. "Because I love you, Eliza. I don't want to see anything happen to you."

"...I can... Hold my... Own..." She said, but her eyes were thankful, "...Love... You too..."

I smiled. "I know." Glancing out the small cabin window, I noticed it was nearly dark now. "I'm going to leave now. Do you need anything before I go?"

"...Stay?..." She looked at him again before glancing out the window herself, "...Please?... Just... A little... While..."
