Ranna looked at him. "I did... sorry. I was trying to escape and the dragons began to quickly returned when I was trying to help Armona escape from the clan." She said honestly.
His face was hidden though. Fortem was not seemingly impressed or anything. He seemed to just be watching her work calmly.

He glanced at her with a smile. "That’s alright. Because of you, a lot of captives were freed. And Ossi is ruined. Not dead, mimd you, but that forgetful furry brain has probably forgotten your name by now." he said, before the frown returned.
"How are they treating you here? I see you joined a girl’s only club."
As the metal cooled, Yundala was still working, noticing the mistake too late. The steel snapped in half, followed by a poetic symphony of slurs and curses.
"Ok," she huffed, picking up the two pieces. "Is there any way to melt them together again?"

"It's tough... i don't understand alot. But I'm glad no one was hurt. I didn't intend to harm anyone, just escape. But i panicked and time was limited." Ranna said. She looked around the area and sat down.
"You can weld them. But it will be weaker at the location of the site. Especially if that is the blade or handle of the sword." Fortem explained.

"You survived. That’s all that matters. The fact that something good came out of it was sheer luck. I am worried about what these gals will do to you," he said, gesturing to the clan.
"Though with your track record, you’ll probably survive that too. We are switching up base by the way, to the Hellwell undercroft. Can you send letters and the like?" He asked, wanting to make sure everything was fixed before letting her out of his sight again.
She looked at the pieces, studying them up close. "What if I made like... two teeny tiny daggers?"

Ranna looked at him. "I don't know. I've heard rumors... but that's all. As for survival, I've been lucky that's all I'm not exactly doing anything special." She said honestly. "I can write, had i known you were ok i would have written, but I thought you were fighting still."
"You could. But functional daggers or decoration?" Fortem asked. He looked at her curiously.

"Fight? No, I was searching for you." Like, for every single waking hour, invading and causing more rivalries with clans, losing multiple alliances. He didn’t mention that part though.
"Luck is always nice to have, but you certainly have more to learn. I am sorry for not being there for you." He said, finding it weird to tell someone who wasn’t even his blood. "This place is close by, letters will do. I am considering placing Migdar somewhere nearby in case you need quick long distance communication."
Yundala was thinking for a moment. "Weeee will find out. To the forge!" She said, putting a piece inside. It had to get warm again.

"I don't know if you should. The clan here doesn't like dragons leaving..." She said. "But I don't know why, the leader is not that strict with me." She said honestly. Ranna looked at him unaware that her disappearance caused more problems, problems that she didn't intend.
Fortem looked at her begin, barely speaking now and merely watching the development.

"I will burn this entire place down if she can’t get to an agreement." He said, pretty sure Ranna didn’t see his loss in the battle before. "I will bail you out of here, but if you want to stay, fine. Make sure to get some friends, or at least pretend. I think this should be all for now." He hoped so at least. Forgetting something halfway back home would be a hassle.
She took it out, hammered it, then reheated it as the glow disappeared. That much she had understood. She hammered it once again, before declaring it flat enough. With the pliers, she put it in the water. "D. O. N. E. It wasn’t that hard... though I think it needs some, like, sharpening? Its kind of square right now."

Ranna looked at him. "I'll try to be careful." She said honestly. She looked around the area and then him. "Are you worried about the clan though?" She asked curiously.
Fortem looked at them and then showed her where to sharpen swords and arrows for use. He was not exactly worried it appeared by the inexperience of Yundala.

"This clan here? Absolutely. The thing with plague clans is that we have very different ideas of how to worship the plaguebringer. Also one of the reasons why we try to remain independent of one another. Your arm is infected now. Maybe they will let it heal. Or they will taint it until necrosis eats you from inside out." He warned, having seen many such examples before.
She looked at it, actually recognising the tool. "I have seen some clans with this thing. I just place the piece righ- ugh, its so tiny." She said, holding it between her fingers. Her nails would be unwillingly maintained if she wasn’t careful. She put it on the grinder, praying it would not fall apart.
(Assuming its a grinding wheel)
