Name: Connie Williams
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Sexuality: Homoromantic Asexual
Personality: Connie is a rather passionate individual; once she believes in something, she’d die on a hill defending it, and if she wants something, she’d do just short of anything to reach it. She’s generally kind to people, and often gets caught up in her own thoughts and daydreams. When she went to her world, all she wanted to do was go back home to Earth, and eventually she did just that; she never wants to return to the world she traveled to, but she loved it as a second home, and always wants to remember it.
Backstory: Backstory here. It's incredibly long, but I worked very hard on it and am very proud of it, so maybe give it a read?
World: Connie went to a world called Inflorescence. Inflorescence was a world of roses, where the floor was mirror-like marble that reflected the ever-black sky, even as it shone with stars bright enough to illuminate the world with their starlight. It was verdant with plant life, with roses dominating the world and filling it with their scent, which was so much deeper, more ethereal than that of Earth. Its population gathered in kingdoms, with the sovereign Queen of Inflorescence ruling over the world, kind and just in her methods. Inflorescence valued story above all, with events always lining up to form a narrative and a beautiful story, a beautiful tale to be told to children on the verge of sleep, a beautiful ballad to sing in honor of the heroes of legend—most often travelers from other worlds.
Appearance: Connie is somewhat short, standing at 5’4”, and her build is generally somewhere between thick and thin that’s leaning somewhat towards thin, with prominent muscle tone from her time serving as the heroine of Inflorescence. Her skin is pale and freckled lightly here and there, and she has a somewhat round face with defined features. She has round, brown eyes, and dark-ish strawberry blonde hair styled in a pixie cut, and died a light shade of golden blonde at the edges in a gradient. She wears glasses with tortoiseshell frames, and has an expansive and elaborate tattoo of rose vine. The tattoo is asymmetrical, but coordinated; two large roses are on her shoulders, and the vine brushes against the collarbone in a flourish. The vine then runs across her back, connected by the largest rose that is centered right between her shoulderblades, and there are vines tumbling down from it in beautiful patterns and crawling up to brush her neck. The thorned filigree of the vine connected with the shoulders then continues to wrap around the arm, so that she has the final flourish of a vine and rose petals on the backs of her hands.
Other details:
Connie is left-handed.
She absolutely adores cats of all kinds.
She is very skilled in hand-to-hand combat, incredible with a bow, and proficient with a blade.
She has a bow carved from rosewood in incredibly intricate, filigree patterns of vines and leaves; it used to be enchanted so that the arrows loosed from it would forever fly straight and true, but that enchantment ceased to be upon her Returning to Earth.
Now that she isn’t trying to be the heroine of Inflorescence in the pursuit of homecoming, she has discovered a love for writing, especially poetically. She loves coming up with ways to poetically describe things, and has thought of many, many descriptions for Inflorescence and all of its ethereal wonder.
You can usually find her reading, writing, or training her hand-to-hand and archery skills.
Met Xavier Strange in a dream on her first night in Inflorescence.
