Try to keep up.[rule] The time is now, the sun has scorched the earth, leaving it dry and hard. A disease has arisen, causing normal people to be turned into Zombie-like creatures, and we....we are in the maze, we do not know what our purpose is here, but we must survive. Jasper opened his eyes, another day in this stupid maze... he thought before brightening, at least he had the others, The Track-hoe jumped out of his Hammock and walked outside, he took a breath of fresh air, "COME ON EVERYBODY! TOME TO WAKE UP." he yelled, Jasper always woke up earlier than the others, he was the one who got the others up and ready for their jobs. He stood outside the makeshift huts and waited for the everyone.



A small bird landed on his shoulder, Jasper smiled and gently stroked it's head, he had befriended most of the birds in the glade, it wasn't rare to see him with some kind of animal perched on his shoulder.

Caleb squinted his eyes as he heard a voice yelling around the glade. Unlike most, he preferred to sleep outside. He rolled out of the hammock and pushed the jacket off his shoulders. He rubbed his eyes and looked up, seeing Jay with one of his many birds. He chuckled lightly to himself before he stood up and walked up to his side. “YOU HEARD HIM SLEEPY-HEADS BEFORE I MAKE YOU!” Caleb yelled and placed both of his hands on his hips. He looked out over the walls, seeing the vines that grew against them glimmering in the new day’s light.

Jasper turned around and grinned at Caleb, "Morning!" He greeted he first in command with a grin, he tried to stay as positive as possible, even though he hated the maze.

The lift creaked as it rose slowly. Laken’s eyes flickered open. She was in shock as she glanced around the small, rising crate, “What the-” Laken narrowed her eyes as she examined the various goods surrounding her, a boy among them, seemingly still asleep. Where were they?! Who put them there?! And most importantly, Why can’t she remember anything?! Laken’s breathe sped up, her adrenaline starting to kick in. She yelled loudly, “Help! Where are you taking us?!” She banged on the lift as it rose up.

Gene was awoken by a shout, singular eye clamping shut as he groaned and eased himself out of bed. He started to stretch. It was life day, which was pretty much. Another guy to have around-and besides, possible Runner. As the Keeper of the runners he thought it quite important to keep their ranks bolstered. He did a quick lap around the inside of the Glade, waving to Caleb and Jasper, a smile splitting over the lips he still had.

He jogged over to them, adding his voice to the yelling. “IT’S LIFT DAY, GUYS, LOOK AWAKE,” he said, walking over to the rising Lift.
“C’MON, THEN!”

Caleb looked over to Jasper with a gentle smile, “Morning Jasper.” He purred. Heplaced his hands in the air and clapped them together a couple times. He looked back at the lift with a raised brow. Did he hear..banging coming from the inside? He shook his head lightly and turned around to face the metal lift. He gazed over to Gene with a wider smile on his face and followed after him.

He instantly put himself in front of the group, showing that he was the leader in this Maze. Caleb wondered about what they would get. Another guy or a girl? He tried to stay more focused on the fact that there might be items coming with the greenie.

Jasper walked next to Caleb, "I wonder who it is." He mused aloud, his bright amber eyes were full of excitement, he had his usual bounce in his step and playful gleam in his eyes.
