The Guildmaster drummed his fingers on the arm of his chair. “How many?” he asked simply.

The man in front of him wrung his fingers, head tilted to the ground. “We… We don’t know. Ten… Twenty… We’re trying to-”

The Guildmaster cut the man off with a growl. “We lost a high number of high ranking Assassins. This was coordinated. Do you know who was involved?”

The man shook his head.

“You. Imbecile. You are the one in charge of this sort of thing. If you can’t stop mutiny from occurring, you should at least be capable of knowing who is responsible.”

“Sir…” the man said in a trembling voice.

The Guildmaster’s murderous stare bore into the man. He was thinking, and certainly of nothing pleasant. The Guildmaster was silent for at least a minute before speaking.

“Your crimes are worse than mutiny itself. The traitors have a chance to return and pay for their crimes. You couldn’t prevent this from happening, and don’t know who was involved. You will be most severely punished.”

The man collapsed, but was grabbed by two guards on either side. His cries for mercy fell on deaf ears as he was dragged away. The Guildmaster turned to the Assassin next to him.

“I am putting you in charge of finding the traitors. Find them, drag them back here kicking and screaming if you have to. Any who come willingly will be flogged and have their arms and legs broken before returning to duty. Any who do not… They will receive the same punishment. But instead of allowing them to return to duty, they will be executed. You decide how that comes about. I trust that you will chose the right way for each traitor. Take who you need,” the Guildmaster scribbled on a piece of paper and handed it to the Assassin. “This will protect you until you complete the task. Don’t make me regret it.”


So, the blurb up there may not have given you all the info you are looking for. So, here we go. The Assassin’s Guild is a prestigious organization that kidnaps children and forces them into its cult-like regime. In order to be promoted, Assassin’s must kill the person who’s role they wish to usurp. The highest rank is the Guildmaster, who has some magical abilities that come with the role. Each Assassin gets a tattoo that grows as they do. The tattoo marks them as property of the Guild, and each one is different.

The training to become an Assassin is very rigorous, and is designed to break the spirit of those who endure it. In order to survive, Assassins must become ruthless and cruel. Many truly morph into the role, becoming villainous in nature, but plenty also simply pretend to enjoy killing.

The escape attempt was coordinated by 5-6 NPCs, and everyone else just took advantage of it. So no escaped Assassins have to necessarily know/get along with the others.

The Guild is based roughly in Central Europe, around the Crusades. Although it takes place in a different world. Fantasy does exist here, so you’d encounter dragons, werewolves, elves, etc. Although keep in mind regional creatures. You probably wouldn’t find a kitsune in Europe. Most people do possess a little magic, though it takes training to be able to harness it. Dragons have a large reserve of magic with very little ability to harness it. Humans can access magic very well, and can even tap into other creatures' reserves and use ambient magic, though their own reserves are small. Elves have medium reserves of magic and can access it fairly well, but can’t use any other magic. Werewolves have a tendency to not be able to wield magic themselves as most of their magical reserves are used to keep their forms together. Halfbreeds have a reasonable combination of their parents’ reserves/abilities.

She has a nasty scar and burn mark over her left eye that she covers up with a mask. The mask is made of roughly shaped iron and covers most of the top half of her face, leaving only her mouth open. Her eyes are an unnatural amber, glinting in the sunlight. Her skin is slightly tan, with reddish undertones. Jazmine has rich brown hair that hangs at a bit longer than shoulder length. She’ll either keep it loose, tie it in a braid or tie it in a low ponytail. Jazmine tends to stick with baggy clothing that covers up most of her body. She wears a long sleeved shirt, loose, cotton pants, a cotton poncho and a scarf, even in warm weather. She also wears a bandage over her right arm, where her tattoo is. Jazmine is stricken with anxiety and guilt, often snapping at innocent people when she gets overwhelmed. She hates having to steal to stay afloat, but she does anyways. Sometimes she catches herself with a murderous urge and will launch into a panic attack afterwards. Jazmine deeply longs for a family and is jealous of those who have one. Jazmine wishes she could feel loyal and trust someone, but is too afraid to to allow it to happen. [b]Backstory[/b]:Jazmine was kicked out of her house when she was eight years old by her mother. Her father left the day she was born due to a bet, and she has never seen him. Jazmine was “recruited” into the Assassin’s Guild at 12 years old, and was promoted to the rank of Assassin at 15 (it takes three years of training to be allowed into the initiation ceremony.) After that, she spent years gaining skill and working her way through the ranks, swearing revenge on her mother and father for abandoning her. She achieved part of this at 20 when she murdered her mother, however, a month later, she came to regret it and gave up on thoughts of revenge towards her father. She began plotting escape and seized her opportunity when six Assassins organized an escape for themselves. She simply took advantage of the opening and left, taking very little initiative towards the attempt until the very end. She now moves from town to town, sticking around for as little as possible before moving on. She has been doing this for four months, ever since the attack. Rick’s hair is very short and kept neat. He usually wears all black clothing. His favorite is a black tunic and baggy cotton pants. He’ll wear black boots or sandals, depending on the day. He wears a black bandana over his face on occasion, although it’s not necessary, as he can change the look of his face. Rick’s eyes are ebony, and his pupils don’t show, but he sometimes changes his eye color for variety. Rick is as tall as Jazmine, but slouches/crouches so he appears to be an even six feet (like how Bakugo crouches.) Rick is heavily muscled with broad shoulders. His facial expression is always cocky and smug. He usually has a cruel smile, showing off a row of sharp teeth. [b]Species[/b] (Human, Elf, Dragon, Half-breed, etc.): Soul Fission (he split from Jazmine’s soul after trauma. Her soul is complete, just in two places. He holds her cruelty/hate/anger.) [b]Powers/Skills[/b]: Rick has all of the skills as Jazmine, but more of the darker side. So, he can heal, but he prefers to hurt. He can manipulate shadows, to an extent. His combat training is equal to Jazmine’s. He can shapeshift, but mostly this works as an illusion, except for his dragon form, which can fly and spit shadow-fire (a purple/green fire that causes fire damage + extreme, painful hallucinations.) He is also telepathic, but doesn’t bother with respecting people’s privacy. [b]Role[/b] (Escaped, Assassin, Normal (No Affiliation With Guild)): Normal (the Guild doesn’t know about him and he doesn’t have a tattoo.) [b]Personality[/b]: Rick is very cruel. He enjoys hurting others, whether physical pain or emotional. He taunts people and looks down on everyone else. He takes the pompous air that dragons have (“Humans are inferior weaklings,” etc.) and uses it to treat himself like royalty. Rick is spiteful and hateful, tending to attack anyone who crosses him. He harbors an intense hatred for the world, but hides it from people to manipulate them. Rick prefers to use a bow over melee attacks. He also hates Jazmine because of her self-hate. (not all Soul Fissions hate their host. They share the host’s opinion about themselves.) [b]Backstory[/b]: Rick split away from Jazmine when Jazmine was 21. He always resided in her, just didn’t have a conscious form until then. He manipulated her thoughts to make himself stronger, turning her towards more hateful and angry actions. He didn’t give his host a second thought when he split, until he started seeing her nightmares. Angry at having to depend on Jazmine for his ability to stay “alive” (if the Soul Fission’s host (the person they split from) dies, they will as well.) He moved around from place to place, killing people for his own gain. While he pretends like he’s trying to take his “rightful place” as king/ruler, he really has no purpose or direction besides what Jazmine decides. Once Jazmine escaped, Rick set out to find her, in hopes that he’d be able to force her to bend to his will. He is still searching and doesn’t know where she is. He doesn’t share Jazmine’s guilt over killing her mother and still harbors hate for her father. What typically stands out are her golden-brown eyes when you'd first look at her. •[i]Clothing[/i]• Sam's usual wear are tight, black leather pants, tall, brown leather boots with straps and golden buckles (heeled), and long-sleeved, baggy tunics with lace-up chests and a protective leather corset that matches her boots. Often she'll wear a half-shoulder cloak with a hood, either red or green in color, and has brass-studded leather-belts with dagger-sheathes strapped around her waist. Around her forearms she has a pair of leather bracers with brass buckles, but she is otherwise unarmored. This is another result of shadow magic, and she is better at using it at night then during the day, since her shadow would still be visible in the daylight. [*][font=Spectral]Daggers and one-handed weapons are Sam's forte. [*][font=Spectral]Being very light and fast on her feet, Sam is an excellent evader and good at slipping past defenses. Reading, learning, and challenges are her favorite things, and she wouldn't be the same without them. Sam doesn't trust anyone, but prefers to view this as a strength and prefers not being exceptionally close to anybody. A first impression of Sam would be that she is overwhelming- she's friendly, but asks a lot of questions and is very curious while also maintaining a threatening visage. She carries an aura of authority, not letting herself be pushed around by anyone or anything without a fight, and often her confidence can be infectious. Sam thrives on conflict, challenge, and trials. Without a fight, Sam would probably lose her mind to bordem. Fighting and adrenaline fuel her. Despite Sam being content not having anyone close to her, she gets lonely often. It's a weakness, in her mind, but she can't help it and tries to ignore it. Faint sparks of guilt can sometimes be seen in her eyes, but that is another thing she tries to shove down and take no thought of. Sam carries a deep capacity for jealousy and bitterness, and revenge is something she takes very seriously.[/indent][font=Spectral] [b]Backstory[/b]: [indent][font=Spectral]Born a slave in the middle-east, Sam was often whipped, beaten, and punished for acting against her master's orders. She learned to thrive on the pain, to push against the chains and become stronger with every fight. The only thing that could keep her from fighting back was threatening her friend's lives or her own, but many times she was nearly killed from being deprived of food and water for her bad behavior. There was a different boy, one day, who came to her master's estate. He didn't look like the rest of them, and bore an interesting tattoo on his arm. Sam was curious, as he was a slave like the rest of them, although typically a servant of the house. She soon learned he was there to kill the master's wife, and Sam, being the rebellious thirteen-year-old she was, decided to help. Sam hadn't been named, only numbered, so he named her while he was there and they were friends for the majority of his time there. After the deed was done and she helped him escape, she was tied out on a post in the main courtyard, deprived of food and water, a whipped half to death. She looked mostly dead when the Assassin's guild scout came to the estate, but her sheer stubbornness and power of will gave her the strength to look him in the eye from the post she was tied to and spit blood in his face when he asked what she'd done wrong in a mocking tone. They bought her from the "grieving" master and Sam was taught basic education, how to act like a respectable human being and not a half-wild slave girl, and most of all, how to kill. She climbed the ranks exceptionally fast (although she wasn't the fastest to do it by any means) and got stuck behind Jazmine as a mid-tier Beta. Because she just can't seem to kill her she views her with intense jealousy. [/indent][font=Spectral] [b]Other[/b]: [LIST] [*][font=Spectral]Sam has two daggers- one is called Licht and the other Schatten. They belonged to the boy who she helped back when she was a slave... ...She took them from him when she killed him. She is leanly muscled and shorter, standing at 5'3, with small curves and an aura that makes one uncomfortable around her. Her hair is tail-bone length and black, but iridescent in the light, and straight as an arrow. She has sharp, pale yellow eyes and her refined features are scattered with freckles. She has lots of piercings. [i]•First Impression• [/i]Looking at Nuthir, you'd think a stiff breeze could blow her over. She doesn't seem to have an energy about her- just a cold, tingling numbness that follows her around like a sickly scent. Nuthir carries herself with a grace and steadiness that doesn't look like it could befit someone so fragile. One would find it incredibly difficult to approach Nuthir. [i]•Clothing•[/i] Nuthir wears skin-tight tunics, typically lace-ups around the chest, with removable sleeves. Her pants are the same- usually skin-tight, dark colored, and with laces trailing up the sides or fronts or backs. She wears a tight, dark leather cuirass, dark leather bracers, and dark leather shoulder guards. Her boots are thick leather, with a small, maybe inch heel, like a riding boot. Nuthir always has on a long, flowing cape, sometimes of thick animal fur for when the weather is colder, but most of the time its a thin, dark material with golden or silver stitching and golden/silver clasps around the neck. Typically, they have a hood attached, and Nuthir often will wear a hardened leather mask that covers the lower part of her face. [i]•Tattoos/scars•[/i] Nuthir's guild tattoo is on both arms, a swirling intricacy of many different and complex patterns. They are both sleeves, and meet at her back before travelling down her spine to her tailbone, then splitting off and wrapping around her hips and upper thighs. [i]•Dragon Form•[/i] Effectivly for show and not any real fighting, Nuthir's dragon form is actually a Wyvern. It has long, thin back legs and a wiry, lean-muscled frame that uses its wings as front legs. Her tail is very long and whip-thin, and looking at it you get the sense it seriously needs a couple of big-macs to fatten it up some. She is deathly black and scaleless. Her eyes are large and bright yellow. [/indent][font=Dancing Script] [b]Species[/b]: Half-Human, Half-Dragon [b]Powers/Skills[/b]: [LIST] [*][font=Dancing Script] Nuthir has a mix of soul magic and death magic. [*][font=Dancing Script] Nuthir can see, feel, hear, and steal the power from souls. She can also commune with them and torture them if she so desires, getting information even from those not blessed with life. [*][font=Dancing Script] When Nuthir steals the energy from souls, she basically leeches it off of them. She can leech it off of all living things, as well, sometimes stealing all of their energy and killing them if she so desires. If a person is weak enough, she can literally [i]rend[/i] their soul from their body. [*][font=Dancing Script] With her magic, she can cause immense pain, sorrow, grief, ect... This is a good torture technique. [*][font=Dancing Script] Any kind of spell that raises something from the dead to use as a thrall, Nuthir probably knows and can do. [*][font=Dancing Script] None-magical skills include being very flexible and light on her feet. [*][font=Dancing Script] Nuthir has a dragon form which she can shift into. It is small, though, no bigger than a draft horse, and is technically a Wyvern. It is better at flying and observing then anything physical, and she can use her leeching magic in this form, but not use any spells. Typically, she only uses this form for travel and obersvance, since any animals she might ride would be very weak from being around her soul-leeching aura. [*][font=dancing script]Often just touching Nuthir makes one tired and drained unless their soul is very powerful. [/LIST] [font=Dancing Script]Now, A list of [i]Weaknesses[/i] so that she doesn't seem [i]to[/i] overpowered. [LIST] [*][font=Dancing Script] Nuthir is very, very weak physically. Any fighting done, physically, she is sure to lose because of her frail form. [*][font=Dancing Script] Her dragon form requires a lot of "soul" to shift into and use as travel, so before shifting into it Nuthir needs to gather a lot of power from lost souls and living people alike. [*][font=Dancing Script] If she leeches too much magic at once, she can actually get very, very sick. [*][font=Dancing Script] Souls constantly torment her, leaving her sleep-deprived, irritable and on-edge. Basically she is [i]not[/i] mentally okay [i]at all.[/i] This can affect her decision making quite often. [/LIST][font=dancing script] [b]Role[/b]: Alpha-Ranking Assassin; Executioner/Torturer. [b]Personality[/b]: [indent][font=Dancing Script]Don't even talk to her. Don't approach her. Nuthir [i]will[/i] snap at you, [i]will[/i] try to kill you, and won't even question it for a single moment unless she's using you or wants something from you. Nuthir, not surprisingly, has snuffed out her empathy for any other individual, and while she [i]does[/i] feel pain and is often very miserable with her existence, she hides this behind a veil of grace and power. Nuthir is only approachable by the other Alphas and the Guildmaster. When she talks to them, her tone is dry, sarcastic, and almost emotionless, leading some to believe she doesn't feel at all. Her numb, cruel existence is something she would love to end, but she fears for her soul when she passes into the realm of death. Whatever gods might lurk there have great punishment in store for such a cruel, undeserving, disgusting individual such as herself, she is sure of it. Aside from all this, if Nuthir has too, she will seduce and use whoever she needs to in order to further whatever agenda she might have. She was the daughter of a dragoness, and because of this her magic energy was bolstered, giving her soul magic and the actual reservoir to use it. All her younger years she was trained very harshly by her own court, pushing her to the limit and driving her almost mad because of the side-effects of messing with souls. When her father was almost killed, he offered Nuthir in trade for his life. The Assassins took the deal but later killed him, and from then on Nuthir was trained gruelingly. Somehow she was able to pass the physical requirements, but just barely, and by instead making all those she trained with very weak and sickly while she used their soul-energy to keep herself mostly healthy. Because of her unique ability to commune with the dead, she was often used for questioning people who had been killed from torture and hadn't given up information. Basically, she was a wonderful plan B and soon, she found that she could even torture living people by testing the strings that held the soul to the body in different ways. Nuthir never hurt animals or children, but anything else was fair game to her. She killed who she had to in order to gain her rank ruthlessly, stealing their soul energy for herself and bolstering her own magic reservoir. Even as an assassin, he prefers to simply barge into the room and kill them opposed to, say, sneaking in the window. Cynric has little to no morality due to the training, and will not hesitate to kill men, women or even children, and furthermore will not even do it quickly if it nets him enough reward. He’s rather extroverted, happy to converse with victims or other assassins, though much of it is also mocking. He’s no strategist. One of his only soft spots is his love for alcohol, which fuels an addiction that he can’t help anymore. It’s easy to get Cynric off-task, and he often after a job stuck around in the city brothels and bars for a few days before retiring home. In the end though, Cynric is deeply empty. His willingness to jump into action is fueled mostly by an apathy to whether he lives or dies. Having these powers gives her slight immunity to some kinds of attacks, but only for minor ones, major spell attacks can still hurt her. She can control her powers well, but sometimes things can get out of hand. Aside from elemental powers, Trinity knows some other kinds of spells which she carries inside her spell book. • Being an assassin, she has exceptional skills when fighting. She is a Beta Assassin, planning to kill an Alpha Assassin when the mutiny happened...so she used the opportunity to escape instead. (And she made the right choice.) She is actually as good as an Alpha Assassin, but certain weaknesses can stop her from her full potential. • Trinity really likes using bows and swords, and she's really good with them. Being a sharpshooter as well, you can see how she fits in with the bow. And Trinity has almost never missed. Trinity prefers to use the bow and arrow, but if close quarter attacks is needed, then she'll give it her all. And she has super fast reflexes. • Trinity's dragon form is really powerful, but it drains a lot of energy out of her so when she turns back to her elf form she is most vulnerable. Aside from all this, Trinity has hidden telekinesis powers, which have never surfaced before because she doesn't want to show anyone. However, telekinesis powers can drain her really fast as well. (Okay lets stop here we have enough powers for her.) Powerful spells can also drain energy out of her, but not as much as when using her dragon form. (Note: She can be physically weakened by her powers, but only for a short while, depending on how powerful the spell is.) • Trinity can talk to animals. But so far she's only talked to her cat, who strangely behaves like her brother (check backstory). So to reiterate, Trinity's got some good powers but they drain her and so she's pretty vulnerable after being in her dragon form or using a powerful spell. (Check the backstory for a bit more info) • And one more thing. Her greatest weakness is her necklace, which will horribly weaken her if it is destroyed. However, the necklace is pretty hard to break, or even make a scratch, and can only be fully destroyed by the owner's own powers, meaning Trinity can only fully destroy it. Nevertheless, the necklace can be partly destroyed by others, except that it can be repaired, so yeah. [b]Personality[/b]: Trinity is actually very loyal once you earn her trust. Like her brother, she is brave, daring, innovative, great to work with. However, she can be a bit impulsive too, because sometimes, she's just really excited. Trinity is actually a very kind person, but at first sight she can look very cold. Back at the Guild, Trinity was known as a witch because of her powers, which can make her intimidating and fearsome. If she doesn't know you well, she rarely talks. Make her angry, and she'd kill you, unless of course you didn't seriously make her very very angry. But under all that, she has a very big heart. Trinity would do anything to save someone she loves, even if it means to die. Sometimes Trinity can be a bit naive, which can put her in a sticky spot. Once you get to know her, Trinity is very warm and kind. Though slightly introverted, Trinity is a lively one, just that she doesn't show it. Back at the Guild, Trinity would pretend to be intimidating and fierce, cruel and cold. It really pains her to do this, but she had to. People didn't usually challenge her, but if they did, they would be dead. After the mutiny, Trinity was alone, and she doesn't really know many people in the Guild, but many would know her because of her powers. Trinity has a darker side, like everyone does. Her darker side is vindictive, full of hate and anger, which was clearly shown when her brother died. Trinity can be seductive as well, given her looks she can do it well. Many men have fallen for her trap, and practically given her all they had. The darker side lurks in her, and it's not the kind you would want to encounter. Trinity is good at hiding her emotions, so what you see may not be what you get. (May change it if anything happens.) [b]Backstory[/b]: Trinity has one heck of a sad backstory, but there's a bit of happiness. But since there's this backstory thing, let's just tell it. Trinity was born, of which her mother was a dragon and her father was an elf, and had an older brother. Her brother's name is Neo. The two were inseparable, literally, and were the best of siblings. As they grew, Neo and Trinity along with their parents practiced on their powers. Within a young age, the two were able to control their powers enough. But of course, until today, Trinity still isn't perfect and sometimes accidents happen. But when Trinity turned 12, and Neo turned 13, the Guild came along. Their parents were killed, and the two became the property of the Guild. Through all the rigorous training, their nature never changed, and they remained good souls throughout. Trinity and Neo only killed if they were forced to, and hated doing it, but knowing they would die or something, they had to do it. Nearer to the time of the mutiny, Neo became a low-tier Alpha, while Trinity became a mid-tier Beta. After their escape, the two got separated after running into some Assassins. The two fought the Assassins, but in the end, Neo never made it. With his dying breath as the Assassins quickly approached, he gave his necklace to Trinity. They wore necklaces as a sign of their friendship with each other, and also the necklaces were a form of control over their powers. If the necklace was destroyed, the person's powers could be horribly weakened. Trinity swore revenge to the Assassins who killed her brother and if she could, kill the Guildmaster. Ever since that day, Trinity has been on her own, trying to find a way to resurrect her brother is she could. Like the others who escaped, she has been frequently moving from town to town, doing her best to hide and survive. Not too long ago, Trinity visited the place of Neo's death, and saw a black car sitting right where he died. It had his red eyes, and the cat just sat there, as if waiting. Trinity didn't know whether this was a sign, or simply something else, but she took the cat into her care. Naming it Neo, she placed his necklace around the cat's neck. Perhaps this was a sign that Neo wasn't truly dead, and this cat also made Trinity able to talk to animals as well. And the weird thing is that this cat behaves like Neo himself... The two become inseparable, just like how brother and sister were before. Trinity is still looking for a way to bring her brother back, get her revenge, but most importantly, survive to do both.     Personality: Jazmine doesn’t trust easily. She is paranoid that everyone is out to get her, and believes that anyone who gives her a sideways glance is an Assassin that is ready to drag her off. Jazmine is stricken with anxiety and guilt, often snapping at innocent people when she gets overwhelmed. She hates having to steal to stay afloat, but she does anyways. Sometimes she catches herself with a murderous urge and will launch into a panic attack afterwards. Jazmine deeply longs for a family and is jealous of those who have one. Jazmine wishes she could feel loyal and trust someone, but is too afraid to to allow it to happen.
    Backstory:Jazmine was kicked out of her house when she was eight years old by her mother. Her father left the day she was born due to a bet, and she has never seen him. Jazmine was “recruited” into the Assassin’s Guild at 12 years old, and was promoted to the rank of Assassin at 15 (it takes three years of training to be allowed into the initiation ceremony.) After that, she spent years gaining skill and working her way through the ranks, swearing revenge on her mother and father for abandoning her. She achieved part of this at 20 when she murdered her mother, however, a month later, she came to regret it and gave up on thoughts of revenge towards her father. She began plotting escape and seized her opportunity when six Assassins organized an escape for themselves. She simply took advantage of the opening and left, taking very little initiative towards the attempt until the very end. She now moves from town to town, sticking around for as little as possible before moving on. She has been doing this for four months, ever since the attack.

    Description: Rick is very pale skinned with dark hair. Rick’s hair is very short and kept neat. He usually wears all black clothing. His favorite is a black tunic and baggy cotton pants. He’ll wear black boots or sandals, depending on the day. He wears a black bandana over his face on occasion, although it’s not necessary, as he can change the look of his face. Rick’s eyes are ebony, and his pupils don’t show, but he sometimes changes his eye color for variety. Rick is as tall as Jazmine, but slouches/crouches so he appears to be an even six feet (like how Bakugo crouches.) Rick is heavily muscled with broad shoulders. His facial expression is always cocky and smug. He usually has a cruel smile, showing off a row of sharp teeth.

    Species (Human, Elf, Dragon, Half-breed, etc.): Soul Fission (he split from Jazmine’s soul after trauma. Her soul is complete, just in two places. He holds her cruelty/hate/anger.)

    Powers/Skills: Rick has all of the skills as Jazmine, but more of the darker side. So, he can heal, but he prefers to hurt. He can manipulate shadows, to an extent. His combat training is equal to Jazmine’s. He can shapeshift, but mostly this works as an illusion, except for his dragon form, which can fly and spit shadow-fire (a purple/green fire that causes fire damage + extreme, painful hallucinations.) He is also telepathic, but doesn’t bother with respecting people’s privacy.

    Role (Escaped, Assassin, Normal (No Affiliation With Guild)): Normal (the Guild doesn’t know about him and he doesn’t have a tattoo.)

    Personality: Rick is very cruel. He enjoys hurting others, whether physical pain or emotional. He taunts people and looks down on everyone else. He takes the pompous air that dragons have (“Humans are inferior weaklings,” etc.) and uses it to treat himself like royalty. Rick is spiteful and hateful, tending to attack anyone who crosses him. He harbors an intense hatred for the world, but hides it from people to manipulate them. Rick prefers to use a bow over melee attacks. He also hates Jazmine because of her self-hate. (not all Soul Fissions hate their host. They share the host’s opinion about themselves.)
    Backstory: Rick split away from Jazmine when Jazmine was 21. He always resided in her, just didn’t have a conscious form until then. He manipulated her thoughts to make himself stronger, turning her towards more hateful and angry actions. He didn’t give his host a second thought when he split, until he started seeing her nightmares. Angry at having to depend on Jazmine for his ability to stay “alive” (if the Soul Fission’s host (the person they split from) dies, they will as well.) He moved around from place to place, killing people for his own gain. While he pretends like he’s trying to take his “rightful place” as king/ruler, he really has no purpose or direction besides what Jazmine decides. Once Jazmine escaped, Rick set out to find her, in hopes that he’d be able to force her to bend to his will. He is still searching and doesn’t know where she is. He doesn’t share Jazmine’s guilt over killing her mother and still harbors hate for her father.

    First Impression• Sam holds herself with a lot of confidence, and she can be intimidating at first glance. What typically stands out are her golden-brown eyes when you'd first look at her.
    Clothing• Sam's usual wear are tight, black leather pants, tall, brown leather boots with straps and golden buckles (heeled), and long-sleeved, baggy tunics with lace-up chests and a protective leather corset that matches her boots. Often she'll wear a half-shoulder cloak with a hood, either red or green in color, and has brass-studded leather-belts with dagger-sheathes strapped around her waist.     • Sam has exceptional shadow magic abilities- she can teleport short distances from shadow to shadow, with this ability being more powerful, of course, at night.
    • She can also turn herself invisible, and anyone or anything else she is touching. This is another result of shadow magic, and she is better at using it at night then during the day, since her shadow would still be visible in the daylight.
    • Daggers and one-handed weapons are Sam's forte.
    • Being very light and fast on her feet, Sam is an excellent evader and good at slipping past defenses.

    Personality:
    Sam is a hardcore extrovert, incredibly observant, and has the memory of an elephant. Reading, learning, and challenges are her favorite things, and she wouldn't be the same without them. Sam doesn't trust anyone, but prefers to view this as a strength and prefers not being exceptionally close to anybody.
    A first impression of Sam would be that she is overwhelming- she's friendly, but asks a lot of questions and is very curious while also maintaining a threatening visage. She carries an aura of authority, not letting herself be pushed around by anyone or anything without a fight, and often her confidence can be infectious.
    Sam thrives on conflict, challenge, and trials. Without a fight, Sam would probably lose her mind to bordem. Fighting and adrenaline fuel her.
    Despite Sam being content not having anyone close to her, she gets lonely often. It's a weakness, in her mind, but she can't help it and tries to ignore it. Faint sparks of guilt can sometimes be seen in her eyes, but that is another thing she tries to shove down and take no thought of.
    Sam carries a deep capacity for jealousy and bitterness, and revenge is something she takes very seriously.

    Backstory:
    Born a slave in the middle-east, Sam was often whipped, beaten, and punished for acting against her master's orders. She learned to thrive on the pain, to push against the chains and become stronger with every fight. The only thing that could keep her from fighting back was threatening her friend's lives or her own, but many times she was nearly killed from being deprived of food and water for her bad behavior.
    There was a different boy, one day, who came to her master's estate. He didn't look like the rest of them, and bore an interesting tattoo on his arm. Sam was curious, as he was a slave like the rest of them, although typically a servant of the house. She soon learned he was there to kill the master's wife, and Sam, being the rebellious thirteen-year-old she was, decided to help. Sam hadn't been named, only numbered, so he named her while he was there and they were friends for the majority of his time there.
    After the deed was done and she helped him escape, she was tied out on a post in the main courtyard, deprived of food and water, a whipped half to death. She looked mostly dead when the Assassin's guild scout came to the estate, but her sheer stubbornness and power of will gave her the strength to look him in the eye from the post she was tied to and spit blood in his face when he asked what she'd done wrong in a mocking tone.
    They bought her from the "grieving" master and Sam was taught basic education, how to act like a respectable human being and not a half-wild slave girl, and most of all, how to kill. She climbed the ranks exceptionally fast (although she wasn't the fastest to do it by any means) and got stuck behind Jazmine as a mid-tier Beta. Because she just can't seem to kill her she views her with intense jealousy.

    •General Appearance• Pale, thin, but beautiful, Nuthir looks fragile and breakable at first glance. She is leanly muscled and shorter, standing at 5'3, with small curves and an aura that makes one uncomfortable around her.
    Her hair is tail-bone length and black, but iridescent in the light, and straight as an arrow. She has sharp, pale yellow eyes and her refined features are scattered with freckles. She has lots of piercings.
    •First Impression• Looking at Nuthir, you'd think a stiff breeze could blow her over. She doesn't seem to have an energy about her- just a cold, tingling numbness that follows her around like a sickly scent. Nuthir carries herself with a grace and steadiness that doesn't look like it could befit someone so fragile. One would find it incredibly difficult to approach Nuthir.
    •Clothing• Nuthir wears skin-tight tunics, typically lace-ups around the chest, with removable sleeves. Her pants are the same- usually skin-tight, dark colored, and with laces trailing up the sides or fronts or backs. She wears a tight, dark leather cuirass, dark leather bracers, and dark leather shoulder guards. Her boots are thick leather, with a small, maybe inch heel, like a riding boot.
    Nuthir always has on a long, flowing cape, sometimes of thick animal fur for when the weather is colder, but most of the time its a thin, dark material with golden or silver stitching and golden/silver clasps around the neck. Typically, they have a hood attached, and Nuthir often will wear a hardened leather mask that covers the lower part of her face.
    •Tattoos/scars• Nuthir's guild tattoo is on both arms, a swirling intricacy of many different and complex patterns. They are both sleeves, and meet at her back before travelling down her spine to her tailbone, then splitting off and wrapping around her hips and upper thighs.
    •Dragon Form• Effectivly for show and not any real fighting, Nuthir's dragon form is actually a Wyvern. It has long, thin back legs and a wiry, lean-muscled frame that uses its wings as front legs. Her tail is very long and whip-thin, and looking at it you get the sense it seriously needs a couple of big-macs to fatten it up some.
    She is deathly black and scaleless. Her eyes are large and bright yellow.

    Species: Half-Human, Half-Dragon

    Powers/Skills:
    • Nuthir has a mix of soul magic and death magic.
    • Nuthir can see, feel, hear, and steal the power from souls. She can also commune with them and torture them if she so desires, getting information even from those not blessed with life.
    • When Nuthir steals the energy from souls, she basically leeches it off of them. She can leech it off of all living things, as well, sometimes stealing all of their energy and killing them if she so desires. If a person is weak enough, she can literally rend their soul from their body.
    • With her magic, she can cause immense pain, sorrow, grief, ect... This is a good torture technique.
    • Any kind of spell that raises something from the dead to use as a thrall, Nuthir probably knows and can do.
    • None-magical skills include being very flexible and light on her feet.
    • Nuthir has a dragon form which she can shift into. It is small, though, no bigger than a draft horse, and is technically a Wyvern. It is better at flying and observing then anything physical, and she can use her leeching magic in this form, but not use any spells. Typically, she only uses this form for travel and obersvance, since any animals she might ride would be very weak from being around her soul-leeching aura.
    • Often just touching Nuthir makes one tired and drained unless their soul is very powerful.

    • Nuthir is very, very weak physically. Any fighting done, physically, she is sure to lose because of her frail form.
    • Her dragon form requires a lot of "soul" to shift into and use as travel, so before shifting into it Nuthir needs to gather a lot of power from lost souls and living people alike.
    • If she leeches too much magic at once, she can actually get very, very sick.
    • Souls constantly torment her, leaving her sleep-deprived, irritable and on-edge. Basically she is not mentally okay at all. This can affect her decision making quite often.

    Role: Alpha-Ranking Assassin; Executioner/Torturer.

    Personality:
    Don't even talk to her. Don't approach her. Nuthir will snap at you, will try to kill you, and won't even question it for a single moment unless she's using you or wants something from you. Nuthir, not surprisingly, has snuffed out her empathy for any other individual, and while she does feel pain and is often very miserable with her existence, she hides this behind a veil of grace and power.
    Nuthir is only approachable by the other Alphas and the Guildmaster. When she talks to them, her tone is dry, sarcastic, and almost emotionless, leading some to believe she doesn't feel at all.
    Her numb, cruel existence is something she would love to end, but she fears for her soul when she passes into the realm of death. Whatever gods might lurk there have great punishment in store for such a cruel, undeserving, disgusting individual such as herself, she is sure of it.
    Aside from all this, if Nuthir has too, she will seduce and use whoever she needs to in order to further whatever agenda she might have. Often she has killed people this way- not even using magic, but catching them off guard at their weakest moment with only a dagger, beautiful appearance and fake charm.
    Nuthir is a masochist, embracing pain and her nearness to death with open arms. She also enjoys inflicting pain on others, although in more psychologial, spiritual ways instead of getting her hands dirty, because "to hell with that, I just got them done last week."

    Backstory:
    Nuthir was the daughter of a very rich, very beautiful, very powerful human duke that ****** off the wrong people. She was the youngest, and although she was beautiful, she had seven other sisters who were carbon copies of her and capable of powerful necromancy abilities.
    The only thing different was her mother. She was the daughter of a dragoness, and because of this her magic energy was bolstered, giving her soul magic and the actual reservoir to use it. All her younger years she was trained very harshly by her own court, pushing her to the limit and driving her almost mad because of the side-effects of messing with souls.
    When her father was almost killed, he offered Nuthir in trade for his life. The Assassins took the deal but later killed him, and from then on Nuthir was trained gruelingly. Somehow she was able to pass the physical requirements, but just barely, and by instead making all those she trained with very weak and sickly while she used their soul-energy to keep herself mostly healthy.
    Because of her unique ability to commune with the dead, she was often used for questioning people who had been killed from torture and hadn't given up information. Basically, she was a wonderful plan B and soon, she found that she could even torture living people by testing the strings that held the soul to the body in different ways.
    Nuthir never hurt animals or children, but anything else was fair game to her. She killed who she had to in order to gain her rank ruthlessly, stealing their soul energy for herself and bolstering her own magic reservoir. The half-human, half-dragon would be gone for years at a time, killing hundreds of people in months, simply because she enjoyed it. Every contract for her was a way to get stronger.

    • Nuthir likes to be called "Raven" by the Guildmaster and other Alphas. Often, she calls this her "dragon" name, or the name her Mother gave her.
    • Her dagger is a pure black blade with pale white runes etched on the side. Its enchanted so that with every cut, the strings that hold the soul to the body are weakened. Of course this isn't a very powerful effect to those who are very strong, but it has a drawn-out effect, almost like a poison, that can make them weary over time. of course she has to actually slice them with it first and "hell to the no I am not getting close to them my hair could get messed up"

      Backstory: Newt was brought to the assassin's guild at an early age so they could use their shape changing abilities to the guilds advantage. After many years of being forced into the shape the guild needed of them Newt began to think of the guild as their home. They kill for fun now, every new mission puts a smile on their terrifying maw.

      Description: Cynric is tall height for his race and time- standing at 5’9”, he’s of Anglo-Saxon and Norse descent, with pale skin, blue eyes, and white-blond hair, long and normally neatly tied back in braids. Cynric prefers to keep himself as disheveled as possible, often going unshaven and unwashed.
      He prefers to wear wool tunic and pants, normally dirty, with an steel lamellar over that.
      Many scars march their way up his body, and this is especially apparent when he actually washes. The most prominent of these is one that closes an old wound that stretches from his lower back to neck in a cross shape. His tattoo is also on his back, and is quite large.

      Powers/Skills:

      *Cynric is a moderately skilled magic user, but specifically in changing the shape of things. He cannot change their color or material.

      *Cynric is somewhat of a expert in swords, spears, and the such. His treasured arming sword Vice or spear, Wodin, can be skillfully used to slide into human bodies. He’s no tank, but his strength and dexterity are quite balanced.

      *Cynric feels right at home at the sea and cold. Where others might feel seasick and shivering, he’ll feel energized and warm, and is quite good at reading the stars.

      *Cynric is a high Delta assassin. He’s been with the guild most of his life and is good at..doing his assassinating, but his rebellion and sensitivity towards distractions on the job doesn’t help. He also doesn’t see a point in getting higher in the ranks and therefore doesn’t want to go through the trouble of killing those above him.

      Personaity: Cynric is half of what he was supposed to be. The Assassins wanted a ruthless killer, which they got, but they didn’t get his loyalty. Cynric is built to endure, never to break, and he hasn’t quite broken yet. He’s obviously extremely stubborn and even if he realizes his convictions are wrong, he stays with them in order to maintain the record. He despises losing things, and is not very patient. Even as an assassin, he prefers to simply barge into the room and kill them opposed to, say, sneaking in the window. Cynric has little to no morality due to the training, and will not hesitate to kill men, women or even children, and furthermore will not even do it quickly if it nets him enough reward. He’s rather extroverted, happy to converse with victims or other assassins, though much of it is also mocking. He’s no strategist.
      One of his only soft spots is his love for alcohol, which fuels an addiction that he can’t help anymore. It’s easy to get Cynric off-task, and he often after a job stuck around in the city brothels and bars for a few days before retiring home.
      In the end though, Cynric is deeply empty. His willingness to jump into action is fueled mostly by an apathy to whether he lives or dies. He drinks away his depression only for it to always come back, and he looks desperately for a purpose or meaning to life besides the situation he is in.
      Cynric utterly despises being owned by the Assassins. He hates his tattoo, and wishes it gone-though it can never come true. He saw initiation as deeply degrading, but he wanted to survive, and therefore went through with it, though now regrets it and rather he had died. He hates being a slave to another’s will. His worst nightmare is always breaking to their will, which he has promised he will never do.

      Backstory: Cynric was born to Aldric Beorn’s Son, and Sigrid the Norsewoman. Aldric was a young man when a girl was found wounded nearby a battle. She was a swordmaiden, a Nordic woman who was happy to bash him over the head even wounded. He took her in, feeding her well. He was a small lord’s youngest son, and no one really minded his choice in mistress, though they could not marry until much later. They fell deeply in love, both fighters.
      The night Sigrid had her babe there was a thunderstorm, but at the end of it all there was a child in a cradle. They were rather good parents. Cynric was their pride and joy. From a young age he was an adventurous child, climbing trees and learning the art of the axe from his mother and the sword from his father.
      It all changed when Aldric died in the Crusade when Cynric was 9. Sigrid and Cynric mourned deeply. Now, the town could finally banish the odd pagan woman and her child socially. A pregnant Sigrid and Cynric moved to live away from the others.
      One night, an assassin came when he was 10. Cynric’s grandfather sent a knife after his son’s widow, and it struck deep. The assassin did not expect a 10-year-old child to stab him through with his father’s sword as he stood bleeding, finally having taken out the axe-wielding mother.
      Three days later, they found a shivering boy, clutching his mother’s seax knife in his white fists in the house.
      From that moment on he was ‘assassin’. Cynric disobeyed his trainers, often wounding them, killed too many innocents to name, escaped several times and was beaten more than humanly possible. Cynric simply never stopped fighting. Though he was initiated and such, he did so out of sheer brutality and will.

      *Cynric is bisexual, but is not open about it due to time period.
      *The other assassins mostly find him normal except when it comes to the ‘no one is my boss’ sort of thing
      *Cynric hates confined spaces or feeling weak.

      Description: A grinning figure haunts the dreams of everyone in the Guild. Nightmares very rarely cross into reality, but this one has.
      About 6’1”, the figure is very tall, normally draped in dark-colored clothing. They dress in dark armor, with a cloak over that. Under the cloak, well-no one knows. Their face is obscured by a thick black helm. The most their victims see is a glint of a pair of brown eyes behind it.

      *Azrael is an extremely skilled Assassin. They are Alpha Rank and have been training with the Assassins for decades. Heightened dexterity and strength, as well as tracking skills are a result of their honed skills.

      *Azrael is very skilled in not killing. Odd for an assassin, perfect for an torturer. They know exactly what to do to leave their victims in extreme pain but not the comfort of death.

      *They have little to no magical ability and normally rely on their other skills.

      *Azrael is proficient in a headsman’a ace and carries one with them where they go. They’re also an expert with a net and traps.

      Personaity:
      The Executioner is very good at concealing their identity. They’re normally quite social and can easily hold conversations. They are deeply manipulative, and know how to twist words and often do simply for the fun of it. They like to be around people and enjoy much of the company of others, often taking on a leader like role. But their favorite type of people are those screaming in fear and pain. They delight in inflicting torture upon both people and animals, delighting in killing them when they’re done- or worse, making them live. Their loyalty totally lies with the guildmaster-everyone else is simply a pawn or prey that they can manipulate. Even if someone has known them as friend for years, they’ll happily backstab anyone they come across.

      Backstory: The child that the Executioner used to be was once human. Once had a heart. Left on the steps of the Guild as a child, they grew up surrounded by murderers. This morphed them into a twisted visage of that child. They were often found tailing the torturer down into the dungeons, dissecting the cats and dogs of the grounds. This caught many a higher-up’s eye. They grew into an adult, and quickly climbed the ranks by brutally murdering the torturer before them. They had grown to idolize the Guildmaster and will follow any command.

His hair is a darker blue and is very messy and unkempt. His arms have strange markings on them and his eyes are a vibrant blue. His tattoo is on his shoulder, it's normally covered up.

      • Neph is not that skilled with using magic and acts more like a reservoir for other magic users. However, he can use some ice magic (dropping the temperature in a room, manipulating ice, etc.)
      • Neph is very quick and agile, often gone in the blink of an eye (think a parkour ninja)
      • Neph is very skilled with knives and dagger in close combat, his aim needs practice. a lot of practice.
      • Neph is skilled at making traps and tracking, weather that is for animals or for targets

      Personality: Neph has a hard time trusting people. He is very paranoid, always thinking that he is being watched or followed, and is also very jumpy because of this. He worries constantly and doesn’t have good communication skills, so he stutters around new people who he doesn’t know. He’s also constantly nervous and has social anxiety, however he is also very kind. Neph will try and please others as much as possible, even if he ends up hurting himself in the process.
      Backstory: Abandoned by his parents at the ripe age of five, Neph lived on the streets for the majority of his life, just barely managing to survive. He was avoided by most other species for being a teifling, and was avoided by teiflings for not having an affinity to fire, claiming that he was 'cursed'. He barely managed to survive. Around the age of 18 he was found by the assassin guild and began his training for an intense 3 years. He was just promoted to Assassin this year, and he accidentally killed a mid ranking Delta, resulting in his rank going up. Neph doesn't really like killing, he mainly does it to survive so when the chance to escape and run away from killing came, he took it.

      Personality: Her curiosity has gotten her into and out of many scrapes. Confident and focused, she's a force to be reckoned with and does not suffer fools gladly. This makes her somewhat easy to frustrate because she constantly has to deal with blockheads who think she's naught but a cute little woman. Her directness intimidates a lot of people, but she remains steadfast to the few she calls friends. However, many of them now have marriage, new households, and even little ones to occupy their time.
      Backstory: Hilde's mother came with the Mongol invaders and fell in love with an elf who warned her about an ambush. Per Mongolian tradition, she taught her daughter to ride horses and shoot. Hilde also picked up elvish archery techniques from her father. Her pride in her skills gives her a sense of belonging to the cultures they come from: she is a human and an elf and a woman and proud of it.

      Her younger brother, Ivo, was not so great in these areas, so when he came of age, he joined a merchant ship crew. He never returned to the ship after a port of call, and she's trying to figure out what happened to him and why. (Possibly has to do with the assassin's guild, but could just as easily be dropped and allowed to recede into the background.)

      So far, her inquiries at the docks have yielded little, and her frustration leads her to make a hasty beeline for home most days.

      Other:
      • A shepherd who goes to the docks to trade her wares (for money and information both)
      • Finds town easier to navigate on foot
      • Uses weapons mainly to defend her sheep against wolves and other predators, so she doesn't carry them into town, though if circumstances change, she might start doing so...

      Age(over 18): I'd say about... 28? Maybe 29, if you want to push it.
      Gender: M
      Description: Swathed in purple fabrics, rich in color and cost, Vynlerin can only be called something... Unreal. Elves have that habit anyway, something otherwordly and unnerving in their faces and stretched ears. Elves are also tall, that's usually a respected fact- except, this one didn't get the memo. The gene skipped him, apparently. Other than the below average height (five-nine, thankyou very much), Vynlerin is a picture perfect elf. His cheeks arch high and his face is long and pinched, his lips and skin are soft- thanks to his own extensive care, not his heritage- and painted carefully in precariously applied makeup. His lips are smeared with a purple that matches his cloak, his eyes are lined with the same silver as the stitches on his hems. When he smiles, his lips curl back in something inhuman and unreadable- his emotions lie in his eyes and ears, with flitting glances and twitches.
      There are qualities that make him un-elflike, if that's the word. He walks with grace, back straight and firm, but stumbles and shakes. He looks not healthy, but a frail, pale figure, and when he stills, he looks as if his knees are to buckle and collapse, as if he is too heavy for his own legs. If you look too closely at his hair, a messy cut just beneath his chin, the ends seem almost tipped by fire. His eyes, the color of fire that seems to flicker, are sunken and lined with bags, and his skin- once a pale, sunkissed color- is a near purple. A soft lavender, it reflects shadows improperly; he only looks... he only looks alive when backed by fire.

      Powers/Skills: Y'all. Ever heard of fire? That's it. Every single fire spell you can think of- fireball, firebolt, incinerate, immolate, matchstick to a pile of kindling. Now imagine them purple.
      Role (Escaped, Assassin, Normal (No Affiliation With Guild)): I'd say assassin, but what sort of assassim blows up half the area woth each kill? At least he's efficient.
      Personaity: Vynlerin would like to think he's a lone wolf, but the truth is, he's a sorry excuse for an introvert. Talking to people is tiring, yet he craves the attention. Though, when the attention is on him, he stresses and does anything to get it turned away. With a sharp tongue and watchful eyes, he thinks rather quickly on his feet- or used too, before the whispers and pulls tug at his concentration. (Yet there are some things that gods and demons cannot change.)
      Backstory: Every young person wants to succeed. It's just a matter of what they wish to excel at- baking, pottery? Chess, perhaps. Vynlerin was as every child is wont to, if only you replace 'wants' with 'desperate.' For some reason, he was born with a fire in his belly, roaring to surpase and overcome. This was his pride, his will his weapon, his armor.
      It was also his downfall.
      Desperate times call for desperate measures, no?
      He should have never let himself get so power-hungry.
      It was a dumb mistake, as all kids will make at least once in their lives. A dumb mistake he carries skin-deep and in his flickering eyes. Vynlerin had made the worst mistake, dipped into a realm he should have never even known with his bare hands. He'd drank the power from it, steadily, like breathing oxygen, but better. For a while, it carried a high, a rush of adrenaline and euphoria. Now, the power has drained him, left him frail and warped and always, always hungry for an excuse to draw more of it into his lungs.

      She is also a very skilled dancer and acrobat. She combines air and fire magic to perform complicated dances.

      Role: No affiliation

      Personality: Evalin is loud, bouncy, and excitable, the opposite of her sister Meredith. She doesn’t get angry easily, but she is very passionate. Don’t make her mad.

      Backstory: Evalin and Meredith’s is a rich elf who slept around a lot. He wasn’t a bad father, but he wasn’t a good one either. He has powerful air magic, which only Evalin inherited. Evalin’s mother was a human with fire magic, which she also inherited. Meredith and Evalin grew up together, and they became inseparable. When Evalin turned 17, they left their father’s care and formed a two person dance troupe.

      Other: Evalin is a strong fighter, but there are some lines she doesn’t cross, such as keeping air from people’s lungs. Meredith has no such qualms.

      Personality: Meredith is quiet, and doesn’t really like speaking too much. She spends all her time with her sister, and while she doesn’t seem too menacing at first glance, she will defend her younger sister with her life.

      Backstory: Meredith and Evalin’s father is a rich elf who slept around a lot. He wasn’t a bad father, but he wasn’t a good one either. He has powerful air magic, which only Evalin inherited. Meredith’s mother is his wife, who had water magic. Meredith inherited her’s.
      Meredith and Evalin grew up together, and they became inseparable. When Evalin turned 17, they left their father’s care and formed a two person dance troupe.

      Other: No one messes with them because Evalin has fire and air magic. No one realizes that they should really be scared of Meredith.

      Personal Appearance:

      • Trinity is tall, at a height of 1.78m. She has jet-black hair, a pair of emerald green eyes, a pair of nice elf ears, and lips as red as a cherry. Her appearance looks almost flawless, except for that scar on her right arm which she got from a fight back at the Guild. Most of her scars would have been healed by herself. Her skin is as white as snow, and feels like the smooth surface of water. Her hair is quite long, but somehow it stays together really well. Trinity is quite slim, with a slender poise.

      • Trinity loves wearing black. As of now, she wears a black trench coat, which go all the way until somewhere above her ankle. Trinity wears black pants underneath, and wears black shoes as well. And to top it off, Trinity wears a cloak to cover it all. Talk about dressing up like a Goth. Her necklace, which is a green stone set in a golden necklace, is practically the only splash of color. Trinity usually tucks it into her coat so that it would not be seen. She smells of roses and lavender, and is always nice-looking.

      • The first thing you might look at is her eyes. They are a bright green, and can look cold or warm, depending on your relationship with her. Usually her hood would be down, and rarely up, when only the bottom part of her face is seen, and the green eyes glowing.

      Dragon Appearance:

      (Note: After turning back to her elf form, Trinity will be really vulnerable as she uses a lot of energy to sustain her dragon form. Pretty good weakness.)

      Powers/Skills:

      • Trinity has both the powers of the elves and the dragons, but to a more powerful extent. She has some of the elemental powers, like the four main elements as well as shadow and light. Of which ice is her strongest element. And shadow being her weakest. Having these powers gives her slight immunity to some kinds of attacks, but only for minor ones, major spell attacks can still hurt her. She can control her powers well, but sometimes things can get out of hand. Aside from elemental powers, Trinity knows some other kinds of spells which she carries inside her spell book.

      • Being an assassin, she has exceptional skills when fighting. She is a Beta Assassin, planning to kill an Alpha Assassin when the mutiny happened...so she used the opportunity to escape instead. (And she made the right choice.) She is actually as good as an Alpha Assassin, but certain weaknesses can stop her from her full potential.

      • Trinity really likes using bows and swords, and she's really good with them. Being a sharpshooter as well, you can see how she fits in with the bow. And Trinity has almost never missed. Trinity prefers to use the bow and arrow, but if close quarter attacks is needed, then she'll give it her all. And she has super fast reflexes.

      • Trinity's dragon form is really powerful, but it drains a lot of energy out of her so when she turns back to her elf form she is most vulnerable. Aside from all this, Trinity has hidden telekinesis powers, which have never surfaced before because she doesn't want to show anyone. However, telekinesis powers can drain her really fast as well. (Okay lets stop here we have enough powers for her.) Powerful spells can also drain energy out of her, but not as much as when using her dragon form. (Note: She can be physically weakened by her powers, but only for a short while, depending on how powerful the spell is.)

      • Trinity can talk to animals. But so far she's only talked to her cat, who strangely behaves like her brother (check backstory). So to reiterate, Trinity's got some good powers but they drain her and so she's pretty vulnerable after being in her dragon form or using a powerful spell. (Check the backstory for a bit more info)

      • And one more thing. Her greatest weakness is her necklace, which will horribly weaken her if it is destroyed. However, the necklace is pretty hard to break, or even make a scratch, and can only be fully destroyed by the owner's own powers, meaning Trinity can only fully destroy it. Nevertheless, the necklace can be partly destroyed by others, except that it can be repaired, so yeah.


      Role (Escaped, Assassin, Normal (No Affiliation With Guild)): Escaped Mid-Tier Beta Assassin, the kind you really don't want to mess with.

      Personality:

      Trinity is actually very loyal once you earn her trust. Like her brother, she is brave, daring, innovative, great to work with. However, she can be a bit impulsive too, because sometimes, she's just really excited. Trinity is actually a very kind person, but at first sight she can look very cold. Back at the Guild, Trinity was known as a witch because of her powers, which can make her intimidating and fearsome. If she doesn't know you well, she rarely talks. Make her angry, and she'd kill you, unless of course you didn't seriously make her very very angry.

      But under all that, she has a very big heart. Trinity would do anything to save someone she loves, even if it means to die. Sometimes Trinity can be a bit naive, which can put her in a sticky spot. Once you get to know her, Trinity is very warm and kind. Though slightly introverted, Trinity is a lively one, just that she doesn't show it.

      Back at the Guild, Trinity would pretend to be intimidating and fierce, cruel and cold. It really pains her to do this, but she had to. People didn't usually challenge her, but if they did, they would be dead. After the mutiny, Trinity was alone, and she doesn't really know many people in the Guild, but many would know her because of her powers.

      Trinity has a darker side, like everyone does. Her darker side is vindictive, full of hate and anger, which was clearly shown when her brother died. Trinity can be seductive as well, given her looks she can do it well. Many men have fallen for her trap, and practically given her all they had. The darker side lurks in her, and it's not the kind you would want to encounter. Trinity is good at hiding her emotions, so what you see may not be what you get.

      Backstory:

      Trinity has one heck of a sad backstory, but there's a bit of happiness. But since there's this backstory thing, let's just tell it.

      Trinity was born, of which her mother was a dragon and her father was an elf, and had an older brother. Her brother's name is Neo. The two were inseparable, literally, and were the best of siblings. As they grew, Neo and Trinity along with their parents practiced on their powers. Within a young age, the two were able to control their powers enough. But of course, until today, Trinity still isn't perfect and sometimes accidents happen.

      But when Trinity turned 12, and Neo turned 13, the Guild came along. Their parents were killed, and the two became the property of the Guild. Through all the rigorous training, their nature never changed, and they remained good souls throughout. Trinity and Neo only killed if they were forced to, and hated doing it, but knowing they would die or something, they had to do it. Nearer to the time of the mutiny, Neo became a low-tier Alpha, while Trinity became a mid-tier Beta.

      After their escape, the two got separated after running into some Assassins. The two fought the Assassins, but in the end, Neo never made it. With his dying breath as the Assassins quickly approached, he gave his necklace to Trinity. They wore necklaces as a sign of their friendship with each other, and also the necklaces were a form of control over their powers. If the necklace was destroyed, the person's powers could be horribly weakened.

      Trinity swore revenge to the Assassins who killed her brother and if she could, kill the Guildmaster. Ever since that day, Trinity has been on her own, trying to find a way to resurrect her brother is she could. Like the others who escaped, she has been frequently moving from town to town, doing her best to hide and survive.

      Not too long ago, Trinity visited the place of Neo's death, and saw a black car sitting right where he died. It had his red eyes, and the cat just sat there, as if waiting. Trinity didn't know whether this was a sign, or simply something else, but she took the cat into her care. Naming it Neo, she placed his necklace around the cat's neck. Perhaps this was a sign that Neo wasn't truly dead, and this cat also made Trinity able to talk to animals as well. And the weird thing is that this cat behaves like Neo himself...

      The two become inseparable, just like how brother and sister were before.

      Trinity is still looking for a way to bring her brother back, get her revenge, but most importantly, survive to do both.


      Other:

      • Trinity somehow really loves cats. Even before she met the Neo-cat. :)

      • She has her special bow, which generates arrows using her powers. Trinity carries with her a sword too, which can be easily disguised as a small dagger. The bow can do the same, but it just shrinks itself. Trinity places both of her weapons inside her pocket in her trench coat. Her spell book is inside her sling bag, along with some extra things like water. (Uhh yeah that was the best I could think.)

Sometimes she catches herself with a murderous urge and will launch into a panic attack afterwards. Jazmine deeply longs for a family and is jealous of those who have one. Jazmine wishes she could feel loyal and trust someone, but is too afraid to to allow it to happen.

After that, she spent years gaining skill and working her way through the ranks, swearing revenge on her mother and father for abandoning her. She achieved part of this at 20 when she murdered her mother, however, a month later, she came to regret it and gave up on thoughts of revenge towards her father. She began plotting escape and seized her opportunity when six Assassins organized an escape for themselves. She simply took advantage of the opening and left, taking very little initiative towards the attempt until the very end. She now moves from town to town, sticking around for as little as possible before moving on. She has been doing this for four months, ever since the attack.
