Introduction:

As you open the door, a loud thud echoes through the tavern, and you wince slightly. They need to get that door fixed...

A sleek white Mirror female is standing behind the tavern counter wiping off a white cup. She watches as you take a seat on one of the bar stools. "Welcome to Splinterbone Tavern," she says in a chilly voice.

Your skin prickles uneasily at the name. I guess I should have read the sign before blundering in here, you think to yourself. "I'll have some water if you got any. Preferably with ice."

"Yes, we have that," the Mirror answers, hurrying into the back through a creaky swinging gate.

You let out a deep breath and try to relax, but you can't quite shake the feeling of uneasiness.

Some dragons sitting at a nearby table begin to raise their voices.

"I don't get it though!" a dark green Mirror female says. "How did we not know of this before?"

The other Mirror sitting at the table, a dark yellow male, rubs his chin thoughtfully. "Maybe she couldn't do it before? Perhaps she needed to reach a certain age?"

"I don't know, Dunegrasper... It's... It's just weird and I don't want mom getting hurt by it." The green Mirror looks at the table sadly, and Dunegrasper reaches a comforting claw over.

"Don't worry. Swamplurk doesn't always seem like the toughest, but she can put up a good fight." The Mirror sighs. "Come on, let's go tell her before she messes with anything else."

The green Mirror grabs up some parchments that were lying on the table and follows Dunegrasper.

You watch them leave, then turn your eyes back to the table. They forgot a small scroll.

You get up and walk to the table, and after some slight hesitation, you turn the scroll over. By complete accident, your talon breaks the strip of leather holding it closed and it opens.

And that was the last thing that happened when you are suddenly waking up outside a slightly camoflaged cave located in the Everbloom Gardens.

Welcome to Swamplurk Scrolls!

This is part-game part-roleplay! You have just discovered the First Swamplurk Scroll.

Swamplurk Scrolls are special papers enchanted to bring you back in time by travelling to someone's memory. You can do whatever you want while in this memory, but it won't affect the future of Swamplurk's lair. You can also replay Quests as many times as you want to see how different scenarios work out.

There are certain quests you can unlock, and you have currently unlocked two by opening the small scroll. Quests are roleplayed with me playing the Quest Giver and you playing whoever you want!
  1. Please stay appropriate.
  2. Do not use curse words.
  3. Please do not cheat off of another player in order to complete Missions.

You can fail Quests and you can complete them successfully. You can also improve your friendship with the Quest Giver or worsen it! For example, if you are helping a good dragon but are killing others that get in your way, the Quest Giver will not want to work with you and you will fail the quest. This brings me to my next point: you can do almost anything you want! After Quest starting scenes, I offer some choices of what you can do, but you get to choose. You can even kill the Quest Giver if you wanted. (You'd definitely fail the Quest in this case though.)

Quest Givers are located in my lair. In their descriptions, they will have a first reaction when you encounter them as well as some additional information. (Not all dragons will have Quests.) To improve your friendship with them, do things that you would think their personality might enjoy. For example, taking care to step around flowers would improve your relationship with Cocoabee because she holds flowers as something important.

If you are still confused, don't worry. Everything will make sense after you start playing!

To begin a Quest, please say something like, "I'd like to begin the Quest, (Quest)." (Please keep in mind that to begin a Quest, you must have the Scroll that unlocks it.) Then choose one of the options provided and roleplay! I'll ping you with a response. We then roleplay back and forth until the Quest is either failed or successful. I will tell you when you have completed the Quest!

Some Quests will have cliff-hangers. If you finish one of these Quests, there might be a second Quest that continues the story, but this isn't always the case. If you want, feel free to post what you think happened after that Quest!

Feel free to add the Widget of the dragon you are roleplaying so I can see what he or she looks like!

You do not need to ping me.

Each Quest has a unique name.
Yes, the option to kidnap a dragon is a joke. However, you can still do it.

Draw It - This also requires you to post custom pictures. For this one, I'll assign something for you to draw, and you post a picture of your drawing!

Replace the word 'EXAMPLE' with the name of the item.

Putting clickable pictures that take you to a user's page is done by this:
Code:
[user=EXAMPLE]
Replace the word 'EXAMPLE' with a username.

To get the large clickable dragon pictures, first go to the dragon. Under the apparel section, you'll see a 'Share' button. Click this. A box will pop up. Copy the Widget from the box and paste it on your forum post!

To get the tiny clickable dragon pictures, follow the above directions. After you paste the code, however, you'll need to change it slightly. The code should look similar to this:
