Name: Flesher
Age: Young adult, closer to 20 or 21
Residence: In Eightleaf Town
Role: Head librarian, created the town library.
Personality: Flesher is usually friendly and polite to most dragons, though she will not fake it just to avoid confrontation. She isn't afraid of arguments, they bore her more than anything but she sees no reason to hide her opinion on things, which often leads to them. She's direct in what she says and doesn't sugar coat whatever she's saying or hide whatever she wants to say, the only exception being someone else's hatchlings. Despite her willingness to talk quite openly about most topics, she almost always refuses to answer any question about her or her past directly, often answering in ways that are quite cryptic and lack the information the asker wanted and then attempting to change the topic or drop the conversation entirely.
Backstory: Explained in her bio. Came to Eightleaf 1 or 2 years ago to get away from how hectic her clan was, and started the library within six months of arriving, shocked at the lack of one. Occasionally visits her clan, a few times a month at most, mostly for old books she can't get elsewhere but sometimes to actually see how they are.

Name: Seastar
Age: Around 18 or 19.
Residence: Lives in Eightleaf, with Flesher
Role: Librarian, specialises in the fiction section and tells stories, often to hatchlings.
Personality: Seastar is usually silent and dislikes participating in conversation. They usually point to direct others instead of telling them better directions. The only time they really likes speaking is when they're telling stories they heard or have made themselves. They dislike stating their opinions on things and tend to agree with what's being said. Despite being a mirror, he hates being in large groups and crowds, preferring one or two people at most. If they find themselves in a large crowd, they'll trying and find their way to an edge so they can eventually leave.
Backstory: Explained in bio. Came to Eightleaf soon after the library opened, partly due to Flesher's pestering and partly to escape how crowded the lair could be at times, has always helped in the library.
Special notes: They don't mind what others call them, though prefer they use they/them.

Name: Clutter
Age: 25
Residence: In Eightleaf, near/above the post office
Role: Works at the post office
Personality: Clutter is very talkative and cheerful, often being described as a 'nocturne shaped spiral' by some as a first impression. She occasionally misses the point or meaning of what someone says, but refuses to ask what they mean and try and figure it out over time. Puns are missed extremely often. She mimics some small movements and actions of who she's talking to by accident without noticing until someone points it out, but she has never completely copied how someone acts. She often uses her mimicking ability to learn new skills, her skill with a bow being one of them. She can be easily distracted and can only focus on one thing at a time before completely forgetting what she was doing before. She rarely sees how severe a situation actually is, almost always underestimating it by a lot.
Backstory: She was hatched from a lone egg that had spent much of its egg life in the starfall isles, where she remained for a few years before deciding it wasn't the right place for her and flew all the way to the shifting expanse. She learned quite a few technical bits, most of them being utterly useless in everyday life, during her time there but also disliked it. She intended to fly back to the starfall isles, but an accident shot her from the sky and landed her in front of the dragons who did it. They were a plague clan who cared for her and healed her injuries as best they could. She stayed with them for a while before joining Flesher to Eightleaf town to see if she liked it better, not being fully content in her plague clan. She became the postal worker for the town almost immediately and enjoys flying along delivering mail.

And here you can see the difference in effort I've put into these three different dragons... And how bad I am at writing out a character's personality. I hope it's okay for me to come back and give the personalities some minor tweaks every now and then? It'd all stay the same, just worded better.
