With a groan, Blackberry very slowly opened his eyes and rolled over, coughing out some water. "Ugh." He blinked a few times, looking around at Jagiya and the other, unfamiliar dragons. For a moment he didn't know where he was, and then the reality came back to him. His throat felt tight, and he desperately tried to hold back tears.
He rolled back over and moved into a crouch, tail wrapping several times around his feet. He took a deep breath, grateful that it wasn't full of ocean water, and tried not to move much. He wasn't sure if he should try to talk and explain, or wait a moment to figure out what was going on. Everything was very confusing.
