"I was.. never... meant to... speak languages," Serkan explained as he looked at the map. He pointed to the closest reactor. East... in a forest. "Let's go... this way."

"All right. Whatever you say. And I was made never to shut up. We make a good team." Flynn laughed. "So it's in a forest, huh? This'll be fun. Maybe we'll encounter a cougar and I'll make a new friend!" She laughed again.

Serkan was silent as they exited the city and headed across a short field toward a thick forest. With the help of his six-inch, blade-like fingers, he easily cut his way through the underbrush. After a few hours of hacking and hiking, the woods began to grow darker, for the sun was setting.
"We should... make... camp," Serkan said as they reached a small clearing.

"Why is it in a forest, of all places? I mean, seriously. Why not pick a nice tropical jungle somewhere, that way it's hard to find and also hard to get rid of. I mean, c'mon. With your talons and my petite claws, we'll have this thing in ribbons before you can finish a thought!" Flynn seemed pleased with herself and shrank back into a silence, much to Serkan's relief, methinks.

Without a word Serkan snatched up the map and pointed to one of the markings, in a jungle. He thought about trying to help the kitty to set up a tent but figured that he'd be quite useless. He feared he might rip it or worse. He then turned and settled himself on the ground, his back up against a tree. He rubbed his fingers together for a few minutes then seemed to fall asleep.

"OK... Were you meant to read maps? 'Cause I'm not, and I still don't know which way is east. Maybe you can be the GPS, and I'll be the captain." Flynn shrugged. "Shoulda paid more attention to Roy when she was driving."

Serkan sighed as he curled up. He wasn't meant to sleep either, but hey, one could try, right? Little did he know there was going to be another annoying companion dropping by...

Flynn yawned, showing sharp teeth, exactly like a cat's. Her eyes closed slowly as she curled onto the floor. Flynn whispered, "G'night." Before yawning once more and falling asleep.

The night passed without incident. Serkan woke and looked around as if not remembering where he was. He wish he had his ship... and gun... He sighed as he noticed Flynn curled up almost right next to him, shivering. It was slightly cold out.

Flynn yawned tiredly. "What 'appened?" She asked. She yawned again before looking at Serkan. She immediately recoiled and scooted away. "Sorry, I didn't mean to get that close... I suppose I move around in my sleep more than I thought..."
A soft thud was heard behind some fern-like bushes. Flynn suddenly flew to Serkan's side, gripping his arm with her claws. "What..." She asked. "... was that?!"
