We don't [i]get[/i] them often, in the Waste, with the smoke, the smog, but not even a single one?" "Wow!" "This is good, this is swell work," they continue, head nodding up and down. Different insectoid legs dangle from their twisty horns by bits of knotted thread, swinging with Elytra's movements and clinking against each other. More than a few have their claws snagged together and interlocked in a clump. What a mess to untangle, that must be. "To remake the constellations, way up there, all across the sky! That's a lot, that'll take more than this," the other head comments, indicating the current number of crates assembled. "You need help?" "With the crafts?" "[i]I[/i] know crafts, I make these!" Elytra tosses their heads, earrings going [b]CLACK![/b] and brandishes their forelimbs, wings, and tails, all of which are similarly adorned with darkly gleaming jewelry pieces formed from various insect parts. Horns and spines, shells and wings, pairs of mandibles——even tiny antennaed heads inset in braided wire rings worn on the digits of their hindfeet. "I could pin the night sky with garlands of bugs," a head says slyly. The other rebukes, "[i]Her[/i] project, not mine!" They close their jaws around a chunk of the first's mane and give it a sharp yank. The first squawks and bats a forefoot at their face in protest. They release themself, smug, and lean back down to Marzipan. "I will help."
