Both hatchlings and dragons count towards the 1t Badge progression! However, 1t hatchlings do not count towards the Top 1t Dragon prizes.

[center][b]Keeping an Archive[/b][/center] DAY 1: More and more dragons lured by promises of treasure have arrived at the expedition site. By the time the sun sets above Dragonhome, the camp has spread into a pavilion of tents before the chasm. Stout porters rush between the storage tents and expedition carts, loaded down with heavy kit. The air is hushed, filled with anticipation as the first stick of dynamite is placed into the end of the passage and lit. Then the thud of pickaxes, a rousing work-song rising from the cavern as the carts lurch into motion: the expedition marches! DAY 2: Day by day, scouts head into the narrow tunnels. "Is there really anything down here?" a young dragon asks, sneering. He had clearly only joined expecting to prove old stories wrong. But on the third day, the report quickly comes back: a cavern opens up ahead! Relief ripples through the expedition. The dragons are looking forward to camping for the night and having a bit more room to stretch out their wings. The air gets colder and sharper as the expedition descends deeper, as if you are heading up a mountain instead of into the claustrophobic underground. The fourth time a dragon stumbles over an unseen boulder and trips into a cart, a guardian waves magical light into being and passes it along the baggage line.
