A magical and unpredictable place, full of a variety of dragons hoping to make their dreams and goals a reality. This, of course, means many strange things tend to pop up in and around the city, and the week of Starfall Celebration was certainly no exception. Just outside of the city border, next to the massive crystalline wall, was a massive wooden and rather worn out platform that you assumed was supposed to be a kind of hastily built stage. The wooden posts topped with flags planted around the stage and the various crooked and wobbly-looking tents in a spectrum of colors and sizes circling the stage gave the place a merry feeling, as if this was some kind of carnival event. Curiously enough however, tables topped with potions, clothing, tomes, artifacts, and various other curiosities were scattered here and there around the stage; you could even see small signs depicting names and prices to each item on the table closest to where you were standing. Furthermore, many, [i]many[/i] dragons- from the tiny Faes to the towering Imperials- were all bustling about; some were watching the activities from a distance, few were looking at the wares displayed on the tables, and others were balancing wobbly piles of apparel in their arms, setting up more tents, or just generally helping with the preparations. Even in the tents muffled excited chatter could be heard coming from within. As you quietly watched everyone while trying to figure out what to do, you noticed an elegantly dressed gray and green Pearlcatcher standing by the stage, papers clutched in their arms as they spoke to a group of onlookers. Assuming they must know at least something about what was going on, you headed towards them. [columns] “Why, hello there! Are you here for the festivities?” The Pearlcatcher asked you once the previous group had left, a smirk on his face as he swept his braided black hair away from his face so he could take better look at you. Noticing the puzzled expression clear on your face, he chuckled and said, “Let me introduce myself. The name’s Bobby, and this is Dress to Impress! A humble and little dressing competition for Starfall Celebration, hosted by my work partner and yours truly.” He lazily waved a talon around, gesturing towards himself and the tents and dragons around him. Despite him describing the event as simply being only ‘humble and little,’ you got the distinct feeling of pride radiating from Bobby. [nextcol] [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/56753102][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/567532/56753102_350.png[/img][/url] [/columns] “The festival always brings new arrivals flocking to the city to celebrate, but with the added bonus of a new and never before seen comet arriving in our skies- why, the place has never been so crowded!” He continued to explain, looking delighted. “Hence why Lucrizia and I thought it would be a [i]dashing[/i] idea to host this contest here, so all the visitors and locals can have some fabulous fashion fun!” Bobby, seemingly noticing your gaze flickering towards the table, answered your unspoken question. “Ah, those are some of our merchandise we brought with us, in case anyone wanted to support our business! But… some of these shall help with a few of our themes during this event, and perhaps even garner some interest among the folks,” he mused with a mischievous grin creeping up on his face. Before you could ponder the suspicious supernatural capabilities of the merchandise and whether they were exactly safe to use (this was Arcane, after all), your attention was brought up to the stage where a shimmering mint colored Coatl dressed in silks was now standing. Her strange, hypnotizing crimson eyes briefly scanned over the watching crowd, before her expression eventually turned into a toothy smile as she exclaimed, [b]“Welcome, welcome all! Come and participate in some potentially [i]profitable[/i] fun! Each category closes for judging at 6:00 FR time the next day. At this time, we will decide a daily winner, and they will receive a prize! You can still complete past categories for badges and/or raffle tickets. The event will run from September 26th 6:00 FR time to October 2nd 6:00 FR time. [*]You can enter in as many categories you want, whether it be one or all. Only one dragon per category, though! [*][b]You may only use real dragons from your lair.[/b] Scries are not allowed! [*]Design a new outfit for your dragon–[b]don't just submit what they're currently wearing[/b]! You can use any apparel you would like for the outfit. Since you are submitting a dressing room scry of an outfit, it doesn't matter if you actually own the apparel or not! [*]UMAs and full coverage skins are [b]not allowed[/b]. However, fest/coli/site skincents/accents [b]are[/b] allowed. [*]Each player can [b]only win once.[/b] [/LIST] [b]Participation Raffle[/b] [LIST] [*]Every player will receive 1 ticket for the Participation Raffle for each time they enter a category, earning a maximum of 7 tickets.
