Ahh this is such a nice idea! Here's a leaf I found this year, I think it's colours are quite nice so I plan to dry press it inorder to preserve it :D

Ooo this is a great idea!! Here’s a leaf I made, it’s the Animal Crossing leaf, autumn ver. :)
(Oops it looks really messy, I haven’t touched a needle and thread in over 3 years)

And these are some autumn leaves that I found outside! Unfortunately it rained, so all the pretty leaves on the ground turned into a soaking mess ;w; so I took a picture of a small tree [emoji=autumn tree size=1]

im a big sucker for sycamores, but the maples are especially vibrant this season! lea's hanging out, not nearly as excited about fall as i am haha

Most of the trees in my backyard are oaks, and their leaves tend to turn a dull brown when they fall. However, I was able to find a pretty yellow leaf that hadn't fallen yet!

So I went for a walk today, and I hadn't been out of the house in a very long time. I knew about this contest, but I didn't think I'd find a pretty autumn leaf. The contest was just in the back of my mind and it was a fun game to just scan the leaves around me as I was walking, not really expecting to participate in this.
But when I was almost home, I suddenly noticed the smallest leaf on my jacket. It was raining really hard so it was stuck on it. At first I wanted to take it off and leave it outside, but then I realized I could use it for the contest!

So it's not really a typical pretty autumn leaf, but I thought it was such a cute surprise that the leaf found me, instead of the other way around. :) Figured I could participate anyway!
