Colorful tents were hazardously placed around, with crooked flags perched delicately at the top and waving flaps showing hints of what’s inside. Moreover, dragons of all colors and sizes were hurriedly running about, carrying piles of vibrant clothing of all sorts and crying out panicked calls of help. But the strangest part was that there were Forbidden Portal beasts among the crowd, and even more astonishing they weren’t roaring in fury or about to launch an attack. No, they peacefully watched the dragons, some even helping carry apparel, and speaking with the dragons like they weren’t enemies. You froze before the spectacle, too confused to move as the action unfolded in front of you. Suddenly, the crowd shifted and a Calico Ferberus appeared standing beside you, all three pairs of eyes alight with mischievous curiosity as they stared at your surprised face. [columns] “Amazing, isn’t it?” Their left head breathed out as they turned away from you and towards the crowd of dragons and beasts alike. “When the portal opened, it certainly caused quite a commotion, among the sentient and feral alike, the latter of which didn’t even hesitate to go through the portal and attack anything they saw. Ruthless beasts, they gave us a bad reputation from the get-go and soon enough droves of dragon warriors came to face them one on one.” Their middle head sighed and the right shook their head sadly. “At least the beast population is dropping down, thankfully. We don’t need those savages running our land anymore.” They carried on as you struggled to keep all this new information down. “Us, the sentients and dragons, eventually made a truce, but tensions were still high. Luckily we,” they put three of their paws on their chest proudly, “came up with this lovely event after seeing you dragons’ strange articles of fabric. Are you once again telling your dramatic tale to some poor dragon who just wants to know what’s happening?” A vivid pink and blue Coatl clothed with layers of striking silks of purple, pink, and orange fluttered over towards the pair with an exasperated yet amused expression on his face. An offended expression mirrored on all three heads, the Ferberus coolly replied, "Why, dear Astrophel, it is important to know the origin of-" "It is important, but you can't just stand here and talk about it to [i]everyone[/i]. You're the Head Judge. You have duties. In fact, I think Dorothy needs your help. Something about someone misplacing all the pirate apparel?" With a huff, the Head Judge marched off. As the sight of them faded off, the Coatl turned to you with a curious smile. I’m not doing any of the judging, but I’ll be doing some of the announcing and organization of the event since those beasts know nothing about organization and how to run something like this.” You nodded mutely as he pressed on. “Introductions now out of the way, I’ll answer your questions, and I’ll make the answers short and snappy. First, the beasts. The realm they live in is Shade-infested, and most creatures there are savage, shade-touched creatures. However, their realm is rather chaotic and some creatures can talk, think, and are like us except for being perhaps a bit more violent. We call them sentients and they’re the beasts you see here talking and interacting.” [/columns] “Secondly, this event. It’s a dressing and scrying contest, in case you can’t tell. Lasts for seven days, each day has a brand new theme, and you’ll have to scry and dress a base according to the theme. Our selection of beasts will judge them. Pretty simple right? And don’t worry about the judges, you’ll get to know plenty about them as the event goes on! They are rather... Can I submit any dragon?

• Nope! We have specifically designed dragons for each daily theme, and part of the challenge is using the morphology given! You're allowed to scry up the dragon we provide however you like, though, so feel free to go wild!

Can I change the eye type?

• Unless stated otherwise in the daily announcement, you can feel free to change the eye type of the dragon!

Can I change the gender of the base?

• Absolutely! Find what pose works best for you!

Is there a way to earn missed badges?

• There will be! Feel free to ask to be on the pinglist, and you'll be notified around the end of the week when the info is released!

More questions may be added later on if we receive them, so don't hesitate to ask if anything confuses you!
