They waited - eons, perhaps - to see if Nuage would fly back into their orbit, but they never reappeared after that fateful day. Clouds can come together, but they can also be solitary. Boule finally decided to strike out on her own, and to search for their sibling. Nuage must be Below, she thought, and so low she went - along a dizzying plummet through the sky, colors flashing and slowly fading into nothing. When they came to, aching and confused, everything was different. Taken in by concerned and curious strange beings she'd never seen before, she learned a few Dragon customs, and that she was - in some sense of the word - a Dragon now.
