Primrose was nearly silent as she flew above the vast gardens. The cumulus clouds reflected the sunset, peachy pinks that hid her well as she watched the fledgling clan below her. She felt young as she watched the hatchlings play among the flowers, younger than she had in some time. A twitch of her whiskers and down she dove. Perhaps she had always belonged here, amongst the flowers and new life. Perhaps here she could escape her past.
She landed gracefully, rising to her full height and displaying herself proudly to the dragons of the clan. Hackles raised, two heavily armored warriors with sharp claws and bright, bared teeth stepped in her way, blocking the curious, bright eyed hatchlings from her view.
“I mean you no harm.”

Wow! I can vividly imagine that sunset thanks to your awesome description. [emoji=coatl happy size=1] I just love the line “a twitch of her whiskers and down she dove” too. It adds such beautiful poetic airiness to Primrose’s story. Thanks for crafting it for her!
I’ll send the imperial your way in a minute!

No worries. I just got really excited when I saw some babies that were related to mine and just had to write the homecoming for one of them. ^^
Also, do you use Discord? There's a Naomi server now ^^

To be honest, I have no idea what a Discord is.

It's a chat application, kinda like Skype. Each chat is called a server. It's really good for big group chats ^^

Oh. I see now. Well, I’m not sure if I will be on Discord anytime soon, but thanks for letting me know about the Naomi server for when I do wind up checking it out. [emoji=guardian happy size=1]

Handsome was always the “runt of the litter” as some might say. He has always been very small, ever since the day he was born. When he was just a hatchling, the nurse was worried he wouldn’t grow, meaning he’d say that small forever. He had to go through a series of tests to make sure that worry was not true. He has never shared that secret with anyone, even to his closest friends, though he doesn't have that many to start with. The only thing she remembers from the day he was born was a bright light and the smell of candle wax.

Howdy! I'd like to try for the Pearlcatcher descendant, and I'd name him Currant (a black/pink color name mixture)!
Currant is the descendant of Naomi, a Fae who truly left its mark on the world around him and the blood that coursed through his very being. Throughout his life, he'd heard stories about her, every word drilling a small hole into the pit of his stomach. He did not want to be known as just that; he wanted to carve his own path in life. He wanted to leave a mark just as great as Naomi once had. While he was a Pearlcatcher who couldn't deny enjoying rumors and gossip, it felt... different when it circulated around him.
He wanted to flee, to cut the clouds that drift above his clan with the might of his wings and find what made him special in his own ways.
After much planning, he did just that. He tightened his grip on his sacred pearl and took off into the night, the black of his skin blending in and assisting his escape. With nothing but the moonlight leading him to his own bright future, he couldn't help but feel pride swell in his chest. He was happier in this moment than he had ever felt before.

I really liked how you interpreted being a Naomi Descendant and how you portrayed Currant in that short story. [emoji=guardian happy size=1] I’ll send him your way!
@Doodlefox
Ahhhhh! [emoji=spiral scared size=1] I really apologize for this inconvenience, but someone private messaged me and wrote something for that fae a two days ago. I just forgot to take him off of this thread. To make up for the effort you spent writing for that fae, I’ll send some food and familiar your way. If you ever want to adopt another dragon on my thread, feel free to simply copy a paste what you wrote for that fae on here again too.
