Worst case scenario, Az told himself, staring up at the highs pillars of the bank, I’ll just apologize and leave. I’ll get someone else. They’ll sort it out just fine.
But as he stepped on to the sleek marble tile, clutching his pouch of treasure to his chest, he wasn’t so sure.
“Excuse me,” he said to a tired looking Fae at the counter. “Could I—“
“Do you have an appointment?”
“Um, yes, yes I do. With—.”
“Phrygia Coffer, Yes I know.” She blinked her large, bored eyes as she checked the schedule. “Huh, you actually do. Wait here.”
She didn’t go to get anyone.
“Uh, ma’m, the appointment was five minutes ago, if you could just—“
“Fine.” She stared at him for a long moment before slowly raising her paw and striking it down on a bell in her desk.
Az waited, his spine tingling with anticipation, but the marble room was still as empty and shiny as ever.
“Um, well—“ he started to say when a familiar shadow fell across the glossy floor.
“You must be from the Copperstone family, yes?”
Az looked up at Phrygia and cleared his voice. “Yes sir.”
“And based on that slouch, your family is not able to pay me the treasure they owe me, is that correct?”
Az straightened immediately. “I’ve got some of here with me, sir. If you would give is a few more weeks, I’m sure—“
“That’s good to hear, but I’m tired of waiting. Give it here.”
Az handed over the pouch he’d been clutching against his chest.
“Not very heavy, is it?” Phrygia fixed his bright arcane eyes on Az, considering him.
“Tell your parents that I’m giving them extra time.”
Az nearly sagged to the floor with relief. “Thank you sir, we lost a lot of investments after that reactor—“
“Yes, yes, I know the story. I here it every time your mother comes by to beg me for more time. I’m a banker, not a gossip.”
“Of course sir, I—“
“You may go, now.”
Phrygia turned away, sweeping his long, feathered tail behind him. “And young Copperstone?”
“Yes?”
“Learn how to finish a sentence.”

“What a corny name” Mystic complained, sitting in front of her parents. “It comes from a long history of our family” Her mother explained patiently. It was the day the young dragon finally got her name, the one her and her siblings had all been waiting for. Mystic jerked her muzzle towards her two brothers, “How come they got cool names?”. Cygnus, her father, tapped his claws impatiently on the ground. He didn’t speak much, not from what she knew, but he seemed important in his role, so she respectfully attempted at keeping her jaws closed. “As I was saying” Samma resumed, examining Mystic’s claws, which glittered from the oil she had put on for the ceremony, “It’s an important name, one that was carried by one of the first rulers of-“ The young female dragon’s winged flew up so fast Samma couldn’t react quick enough. One wing hit the side of her mother’s face, the other got tangled in a bush. “Sorry, I get twitchy when I’m bored” Mytic suddenly snapped after a moment of silence. She turned around, looked back once more at her parents over her shoulder, then flew off. The cool night wind immediately calmed her, which was needed as she seemingly began to get progressively get more and more angry at little things. Being confined in a den with many other dragons, she was used to noise, but what she couldn’t stand was stupidity. Her parents acted like she was still a hatchling, and it drove her insane. Mystic, cursing under her breath, landed on a beach not far from her den. The sand was already cool, even though the sun had just set. She buried her claws in it, and lowered her muzzle to the water as it splashed near to drink from it. Suddenly something behind her rustled and she recoiled. “Come out!” She growled, but her insides squirmed nervously. She faced the line of bushes surrounding her and ruffled her wings. A peep sounded and out came a small, round bird. Mystic lowered her wings and stepped forward, more confused than scared now. The bird chirped again and she jumped. It seemed unafraid, even though it was facing a dragon. It was barely distinguishable from a ball of fluff, but it bounded up to her and cuddled under her wing. Mystic tensed and prepared to smack it away, but couldn’t quite bring herself to do so. “Fine. So stay with me” She sighed, and put it upon her head. The dragon flew back to her den with her new pet, feeling more content than she had in awhile.
Basically Mystic is the name I wanted for her and I have a familiar all set if you choose to let me have her ^^ thank you for doing this
