Atlas has long been in charge of these activities, the mighty Imperial having worked hard to make these mines as efficient and as profitable as possible. He's also something of a survivor, having crafted a set of survival gear to help him endure in some of the harshest conditions Sornieth has to offer. He may be a little too dependent on his gear, in fact, as few have ever seen him without it... The truth is rather less impressive- while the energetic Spiral certainly loves digging up ancient ruins, her techniques do leave something to be desired, and at times end up destroying almost as much as they unearth. Still, when she can put her mind to it, she does know how to dig a hole, making her probably the best choice to take Clan Twinstar's third slot in this competition. Anything else you'd like to say? I can't guarantee I'll have the time to roleplay here every day (I know it's optional, but I do still want to try at least), but I'll give it my best shot! I'm looking forward to this!

A friend and I are interested, but we're a little confused at how to play; could you explain it?

I am so confused on how this works... what are we supposed to do? I read the rules but it didn't make much sense to me.

Sorry, I don't get the dragon elimination or digging things. ^^;

Can someone explain it to me?

• You sign up with three dragons - essentially, three chances to make it to the end of the game.
• Every day of the game, I will present players with a list of places they can dig. Players pick one place per dragon and send me the list of same. (Example: "Wildfire in Earth, Conflagration in Arcane, Inferno in Light.")
• Players cannot have all their dragons digging in the same spot; at least one dragon must choose differently - so if you have three dragons available, you can have 2 digging in Arcane, but the third must dig somewhere else. If you have two dragons, they can't both go to the same space. If you have only one dragon left, you have to pick somewhere different than the day before.
• The tally will be secret until the end of the day, when I make the announcements. Do NOT post your choices on the thread! You will immediately lose the game if you do that.
• Every day, the two options with the fewest dragons sent to them will be eliminated from the game, as will the dragons that picked them. So if - for example - Plague and Wind get the least number of dragons one day, then Plague and Wind will be removed from the list of digging options, and all the dragons that were digging in Plague and Wind that day get eliminated.
• There's a slim chance you might get to avoid having one of your dragons eliminated if you bump the thread (once per day).
• If all your dragons get eliminated, you are out of the game. You will only get badges and prizes up to how long you stayed in the game. If you are out of the game on day two, you'll get badges and prizes for days one and two. If you make it to day five, you'll get badges and prizes for days one through five. I send all the badges and prizes out at the end of the game.
• You can also RP things on the thread if you want but it's not required. Should you choose to write them, RP posts cannot identify the digging spots you picked that day. If that becomes a problem, I will ban RPing altogether.
