The Fae was bored. She had been here the longest, in this... in between. Her ‘brothers and sisters’ came and went, and yet she remained. Her room had the most stuff. It had drawings she had done when she was a child, it had books and gems. She had collected a lot. This wasn’t the first time she had gotten bored. Usually she would play with the others, but as time wore on, she found that playing tag was not quite as enjoyable as it used to be. Looking over at the rest, she smiled. Some of them were truly beautiful. They would be gone soon. She used to be as eager as them, as hopefull, but as time passed, she became more resigned to be here, to watch time pass her by. Still, her life would not be for nothing. She had others to look after. The small dragon looked around the relatively small cave, filled with other dragons. For now she would watch over them, teach them, and perhaps one day, a clan would want her. But until then, she would protect them.
