Safety, for now?
Everything went surprisingly smoothly after the Trayton Incident, and other battles were a breeze. There was even a surprising amount of crits - Yes, Ignis still missed. But it wasn't "four misses in a single battle"-tier, so I think she has been doing better.
Nothing of note really happened - no interesting knick-knacks were found except for a few Shimmering Pinecones, but it would be more surprising if mice and birds had something of actual value.
...Well, nothing intersting except for this mildly ominous Ember Mouse. I think Trayton doesn't like mice since the incident.
So, anyway...
Oh. It brought friends.
...But Ignis and Poet made pretty quick work of them, so it wasn't very eventful.
Look, it's already over. Time to rest up for now.
What's new on the builds?
I decided to go with the Sedona Build, since finding Eliminates would be... A little troubling. Yes, the stat spreads are a little...
Wonky right now because I, in my hubris, decided to look up stat spreads level by level only when I was already done statting them.
Looking into healer/mage builds I decided to buy a dragon that already has Meditate and Contuse ready (I can only remember Pearlcatchers? and Faes having them by default), since giving new battlestones to Trayton would be troubling, especially since right now we don't have a replacement for him if he'll get stuck with only Meditate and Contuse.
...Oh, speaking of which.
Cut it with the maths already, give us the fun part!
Aye, aye. As you noticed, I overstayed my welcome in Training Fields and, in fact, the recommended level range is 1-3 instead of 1-4. I decided to give the team one extra level before moving on, at least for the sake of Trayton, so Pocketmouse Incident won't repeat itself.
While resting they meet a peculiar new face...
...Who happens to bear bright-green eyes.
Yes, it's another Imperial, therefore there is no knowledge on how to use Meditate or Contuse. She just caught my eye when I saw her. I named her
Glyceria, after a
common genus of grass. For now she'll stay in the back and get trained later, I don't want to overlever one or two of my starters, that would be hard to even out later.
Anything else?
I find it a little amusing that Trayton already seems to become a fan-favourite so early into the journey. I assume that if someone decides to gift me apparel or battlestones it'll be addressed to him, hehe... After being asked about writing interactions and characterising my dragons I thought of maybe running an in-character Q&A in the end of each issue? You can try sending a few questions in the discussion thread and I'll see if I find anything interesting.
