Someone slips poison into Minmay's food. Minmay gets very sick, but pulls through (loses extra life). He cannot determine who tried to poison him; the tensions among the tribe worsen. Day 38 Hatchling rolls Arrow 5, Cygnus 3, Chocobo 5, Rown 5, all okay pink [item=spiny tail] freeloader [indent]Excellent. Anchor needs a training partner. [s]Solara[/s] floats into camp, chasing after one of the hatchlings, and decides to stay. They return with a bonanza of older younguns. day 39 Foggy's nest is ready tp hatch. He has two eggs. Neither ine hatches. Hatchling rolls--7 hatchlings, all survive. Osha grew up so quickly. pink [item=toridae mythology] job change [indent]It's Mei. She's tired of being the only one to do any useful work around here. She sees the 'name scribe' and the 'matchmaker' just flying around; and she hadn't been able to deal with the guilt of losing Elspeth, what with her turning into a shade and such. She applies to Minmay for a new career. Minmay asks her to design him a dress. Guess she's a tailor now. [/indent] crim [item=common shellbug] [indent]Foggy takes Anchor and Solara into the woodland paths. Solara has difficulty battling, and decides to journey on to another, safer tribe. day 40 hatching rolls--four hatchlings to roll for; Curl did not make it (nooo!) Cygnus, Chocobo, and Theia are grown up pink [item=violet flower crown] Once again no nests available (I really should start leaving one open for emergencies again), so out to find a new coterie of [s]victims[/s] [s]cannon fodder[/s] hatchlings. At least the adults still outnumber the hatchlings. Day 41 Down to four hatchlings! Mireille 6, China 3, Fantastic 4, Lehine 1. Sorry Lehine! Ray, Rown, adn Chocobo are grown up. pink [item=wood shrimp] [indent]Mei, Anchor, and Minmay find themselves in the woodland paths again. They fight carefully, and all come back again. No levels gained, however (thanks again, RNG) [/indent] Mei finds a nice hat for Foggy. crim [item=snowshoe rabbit] [indent] Come on RNG, let's get some inexperienced dragons here...nope, Anchor, Arrow and Match...back to the woodland paths... Arrow falls to a wild woodoon. Match and Anchor return alone. Match up to 11. [/indent]

day [b]42[/b] hatchling rolls China 2, Fantastic 6 Mireille grew up! pink [item=plaguebringer's delight] [indent]Foggy take Chocobo and Mireille off for a romp. Unfortunately both Chocobo and Mireille fall during their fights unexpectedly. [/indent] crim [item=spectral scales] Nature's Gamble [indent]Anchor and Rown head off to the training fields. Anchor levels up to 5, Rown to 3; unfortunately they lose the gamble, and both leave the tribe.[/indent]

Day 43 Hatchling rolls China 6, Fantastic 6 pink [item=cindershroom] [indent]Match, Ray, and Osha Whew, they all came back from the woodlands safely! [/indent] crim [item=rich iron ore] Royal Quest! [indent]Minmay, Ray, and Mei (a rhyme!) go to the delta on quest. Huzzah! They survive, and Ray levels up to 8; Mei gets up to 8; and Minmay is 12 [/indent] Ray is ready for a great job--But instead he gets a blacksmith.

Day 44 Hatchling rolls China 3, Fantastic 2 all safe pink [item=cursed batling] [indent]Minmay, Match, and Foggy strike out for the blooming grove. They fend off monstrous hippos and return home safely. Foggy is now level 12. [/indent] crim [item=amber-trapped fly] Backstabbing [indent]Not again! The tribe turns on Mei. The tailor packs up her fabrics and takes off. [/indent]

Day 45 Fantastic and China are now adults. No hatchlings, no eggs. pink [item=construction armor] deathbond [indent]Fantastic and Match swear eternal sisterhood to each other. I'm not sure the ridgeback is aware of the veilspun traditions regarding this. [/indent] crim [item=coppercoil segment] nature's gamble [indent]Osha and China get to level up--to level 2. And flip tails, so get exalted. [/indent]

Day 46 pink [item=reflective fish scales] Assassin! [indent]Minmay has been turned by the Shade, and now secretly works against her people. [/indent] crim [item=shale hybrid fragment] Death streak [indent]The luck for this tribe continues to worsen. Cygnus, Fantastic, and Ray head out for the woodland paths. Cygnus is the first to fall.
