(And for us, as we totally are not using this to test the industriousness of future interns...) Grab a camera, create an Entry Ticket and analyze the tasks below in order to maximize your productivity (and see all the sights of the Street Fair). However, these tasks do not include [i]collecting[/i] anything, instead you will [b]taking photos with the item and your[/b] [b]Entry Ticket[/b] present. Entry Ticket you ask? You got into this fair somehow, right?! You didn't sneak in?? No, just kidding! This is how we prove it was you that finished each task. It will be unique to you because you can decorate it much as you'd like! [b]The only required items are your USERNAME, your FR ID #, and 07/2022 (this year's date)![/b] I recommend using bold font. There are examples in the FAQ. You will then take your photos and upload them to an image hosting website. I suggest [url=https://imgur.com/]Imgur[/url], as it is pretty user-friendly. There is a post in the FAQ for how to use the website. Once your image is on the hosting website, you will create a post here on this forum and share your photos! Near the tasks is a template that will make it easier for you. Please do not delete your post. However you can edit it at any time before the end of the event. From there on, keep adding photos at your leisure during the event (July 17th - July 30th) until you've completed as many tasks as you can!

[*][b]Take whatever you need to be safe along with you.[/b] Be willing to take breaks, and drink water when you need to. You have two weeks to work on this; you don't need to rush. Remember you can be as creative with these as you want, however I found that the bolder you made the writing, the better it looked and the easier it was to be legible even when it was blurry. Everyone will receive a participation badge. Just click on the REWARDS tab at the top of this post and it will take you there. Also, every task you complete will earn you points. Each point counts as a raffle number that will be placed in an RNG calculator. If you are chosen from that, you will be able to earn one of the reward packages! Your point values won't change, since this isn't a photography contest, but if it makes you happy, it makes me happy. I won't be able to track the time things are posted if you use the doc, and that would be unfair to everyone else. [*][size=4][b]How do I use Imgur?[/b][/size] First make an account. Then hit "New Post" from there it will take you to a screen with a box that says "drop images here." You can either drag and drop a photo into that box, or you can hit "Choose photo/Video" to manually search your device for the photo you are looking for. Once you have successfully done this, it will change to a new page that has your photo. Hover over the photo and click the three dots. Click "Get Share Links" and it will have an option for BBC code. Copy and paste it to the correct challenge. Ta Da! You've done it! Now back to work! [*][size=4][b]How will I know if I've won anything?[/b][/size] The day after Thundercrack ends, I will do the final tally, and check date stamps on posts. From there, I will do the RNG generator, and I will ping all the winners. You will have three days to claim your reward. Should you not do so, I will reroll. Have you ever been to any sort of fair? If so, did you enjoy it? If not, would you ever want to? [i]I've been to several! My family regularly visited a local renaissance fair during the fall season. The food, shops, activities, and rides were a blast, of course, but my favorite part was always the costumes. The historical/fantasy style outfits worn at these fairs is an incredible showcase of artistry and creativity. There was one memorable year were I spotted a man dressed as a pretty convincing centaur, with puppetry built into the horse half that allowed him to make the tail flick and legs bend. It absolutely blew my mind! (And probably helped cultivate my fascination with cosplay/fursuits/etc, haha.) We haven't had the opportunity to visit any fairs for a few years now but I'm hoping to change that! ....But not during the summer months - it's far too hot to actually enjoy any outdoor activities [emoji=spiral tongue size=1][/i] [emoji=gear size=1] 2. Any closing comments about your experience? [i]As per usual, I had a ton of fun !! Challenging myself to take photos that could work for multiple tasks added another layer of enjoyment to the hunt. The weather was clear for most of the two weeks, despite the heat, so I was able to freely explore outside. And even though most of the tasks were simple enough, I had a surprising amount of difficulty! The slide and chalk tasks specifically gave me grief X^) There are no playgrounds nearby, so I had to take creative liberties with interpreting the chicken coop ramp. And I could have sworn that I owned chalk (and turned the house upside down searching for it) but apparently not! Thankfully, my "1000 ting å gjøre sammen med barna" book came in handy.[/i]
