[size=2]I'm a very sentimental person with a huge soft spot for restoration projects, and that extends to FR. This section is my on-going project of rescuing old dragons off the AH and preserving their legacy, while giving them a fun makeover and lore! Ideally I would like to just focus on one project at a time, but there may be some items in their apparel that are very difficult for me to obtain. I'll try not to be too hard on myself if I have to move on in the case that there's a single item holding me back.

Epimetheus is one of my most recent AH rescues! I don't think I've ever had a dragon with Sunshine before, let alone an XXX one — so I played around with some scries and settled on Skink/Toxin/Filigree. I love the red accents that Sunshine has, and since it was NotN had some Bewitching and Haunting apparel lying around. Sometimes Underbelly/Glimmer hides some pretty cool details that primaries have, so I tend to re-gene those.[/size]

Mato was a fodder rescue put up for sale during NotN. I'm very fond of oldies with ice tertiaries because they can look like snow-covered dragons with gembond. The contrast of her coral primary and tomato secondary underneath the ice is very striking, so I really wanted to play on that and bring out the good qualities in each color. I'm really proud of this project and I absolutely love how she looks now! [/size]

[size=2]I told myself that I wouldn't get into g1s, but the idea of scrying unique color combos and putting together outfits for them was way too tempting! This section will be secondary to my oldies one, and may not necessarily be completed within a month. If I finish it before the month is over, I will not start a new one until the 1st of the next month! This gives me some breathing room and a chance to save up again. Huge bonus challenge if they're old g1s for scatter projects.

Oh, Amanek. This will probably be my most ambitious/extravagant project ever (I hope), because it's my birthday month and I thought he could be really special. And he is! I always wanted Rue, my favorite dragon and my avatar for nearly 6 years, to have a sibling, and now here is Amanek. My methodology is pretty simple: scry until I find something I love and then explore apparel for them, then give them lore based on their end result. I [i]really[/i] love white/swamp (it's the colors I picked for my custom progen [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/3864881]Eryri[/url]!) but what I was actually searching for was a Grapefruit tertiary, because the yellow-orange gradient is the main thing I love about Grapefruit. It just so happened he was white/swamp, and the rest is history. :)[/size]

First update woo! Skink finished brewing, and now has been applied to Epimetheus. I absolutely love this combo and am really glad I was high enough to brew both his primary and secondary. Melting items on cooldown has been paying off. [emoji=coatl tongue size=1]
Now it's time to save up gems to afford filigree. :)
First update woo! Skink finished brewing, and now has been applied to Epimetheus. I absolutely love this combo and am really glad I was high enough to brew both his primary and secondary. Melting items on cooldown has been paying off.
Now it's time to save up gems to afford filigree. :)
Saving up for filigree has been, uh, very difficult to say the least haha. Since it's already the 20th I'll post December's G1 project summary to look back on.

I'm not sure whether to split up g1s and oldie g1s, so I'll try it out like this for now. I was casually browsing around for g1s, mostly in the brown-red range, when I happened to come across Shinonome. She had a text scry in her bio, and when I plugged it into the workshop I fell in love immediately. I don't have lore for her yet, but maybe she can be related to Redara in some way? She's my first g1 I have fully gened, and thankfully was fairly affordable. I did make the mistake of buying a Savannah scroll for 193g though, yikes lol![/size]
