By the time they both left to hunt, they had even said good morning and asked how he was! Dia stayed around the camp that day and Sage wandered around the area a bit. He especially liked it near the small creek that passed not too far from the cave they all slept in. Sage was minding his own business, knocking stones into the water when he noticed two large, magenta coloured eyes staring at him from a bush on the other side. [b]"Aaah!"[/b] He stumbled back in surprise which drew Dias attention. Worried that something had happened to Sage, she rushed over and was just as surprised as him to see the eyes. Now, it had never been Ram or Dia's intention to end up with so many young dragons joining them on their adventure into the great unknown, and yet it was happening. Dia's maternal instincts were hard to ignore and she tried to gently coax the hatchling from her hiding place. The coatl rushed from the bush and across the stream, past a stumped Dia who had expected him or her to be a little more timid and started to nuzzle against Sage. [b]"D-Dia! H-Help, what's it doing...!?"[/b] He tried to back up and few steps but the coatl was insistent, continuing to snuggle and nuzzle even after he had fallen over (again). [b]"Hey, get off, come on, stop that!"[/b] Sage tried to butt the other dragon away but it didn't seem to take a hint. It just chirped happily and closed it's eyes against Sage's chest. [b]"Weirdo..."[/b] He muttered. Dia laughed softly. [b]"Let's get the two of you back to the fire and... Well, do you think Ram will notice?"[/b] She smiled fondly and, with some difficulty, was able to guide the Coatl towards their camp while she (they checked!) stayed attached to Sage. [b]"Well, looks like you've got a new friend."[/b] Dia smiled, watching the two of them as she set about preparing lunch. Ram and Flutterbye would be back then. In some ways, the new coatl reminded Dia of Kayden and that made her both happy and sad. Since Ram, Dia and Flutterbye were the only adults, they were in the team. Really flew through them and I was hoping for a familiar drop so I could start giving the gang some friends but alas, no luck. Ram and Dia stayed level 5 but Flutterbye went up to level 4! She gained a piece of apparel from this! No one is entirely sure [i]where[/i] Neriya has plucked this bag from but Sage has his suspicions (which begin and end with Neriya being some kind of weird and freaky magic user). [i]The truth is, she got it from a beastclan who had left it behind!
