sun-kissed & honey-drizzled.
nestled in the far easts are the isles of sunguine- a
vibrant oasis where seeds of sunbeams descend
like radiant snowflakes and take root amidst the
soil, sharing their dazzling warmth and spreading
their gleaming roots across the isles. it is theori-
zed that all plants originated from this location;
nurtured to their peaks amongst ample sunlight
and the cultivating inhabitants, their seeds ferr-
ied by the travelling oceans and winds to distant
parts of the world. nature’s flora is remnants of
the sun, fallen seeds of sunbeams sent to sustain
the life that she protects.
here is the resting oasis of the sun’s - after the
flight of day she descends. the gleaming guardian
of the dragons - her rays of light nourish the cos-
mos and open shadow-veiled eyes to the beauty
of esse. beneath her fiery shield, all existence th-
rives - flora blossoms and fauna flourishes, enlig-
htened by her radiant love.
explore the home of a group of dragons that dance
amidst the sunbeams - revere the fire in the sky
and their hearts. those among them who appear
drizzled in honey, like embodiments of the sun, are
adored for the light that blooms within their soul
and shines from their body. believed to have been
kissed by the sun itself.
common interests botany & gardening,
science, environment-
alism, honey
the winged serpents inhabiting the sunguine isles are fierc-
ely devoted to the fire lotus of the sky, but are not an unk-
ind bunch. they believe of themselves as extensions of the
sun's rays, destined to embrace all in luminous warmth and
spread the nurturing light. as such, it is rare to encounter
an unfriendly sunguine-born. they see the light in everyth
-ing. they tend to be avid enthusiasts of flowers, too. plenty
of botanist dragons roam sunguine, tending to & curiously
investigating the verdant, wild gardens in the isles' midst.
these light dragons are flighty, but not wanderlust such as
ones of the wind - they simply enjoy having no barriers bet-
ween them and the sunlight that overhead trees provide,
and are always aiming to fly as high as the sun and shine
just as bright. it is not unusual for them to be antsy or cla-
ustrophobic when there is an obstacle shielding their view
of the sun - they aspire to always be touched by the light.
honey is a most-delectable treat to sunguine natives, but
it is not served without appreciation for its makers. bees
are cherished here - it is an offensive act to intentionally
hurt one. in fact, the dragons hold sacred the ways of the
honeymakers - their own social pacts are not so different
from the behavior of hives. everyone contributes and helps
each other. and when the sun descends, the light does not
go with it - fireflies dance in the fronds and mingle with the
stars, illuminating the darkness and fending off the shadows.
few dragons stand out amongst the yellow pain-
ted scales with noticeably darker features, almost
appearing burnt. it is echoed that the souls of these
dragons are not so pure of heart. whispers that they
are mere shadows of the moon, where the light can-
not touch. they are believed to have been scorched by the sun for their transgressions.
