If tails, do the backstabbing as above.[/color] [*][b]Test the Newbies[/b]. Roll a d10 for each of your lowest-level dragons. If it’s higher than their level, exalt them. They were not good enough. Raise the remaining low-level dragons by one level. [*][b]Major Heist[/b]!! This is it! Your time to shine. Roll a d12 for Every dragon. If you get higher than their level, exalt. Raise all survivors by one level. [color=firebrick][i]Alternate Safer Heist Option[/i]: Flip a coin. Heads? the mission was a success! Instead of getting exalted on the failed role above, they simply don't gain a level. Tails? Exalt as above.[/color] [*][b]A coup[/b]! Exalt your leader. They have been dramatically betrayed by the others a la the ides of march. Determine a new leader from the remaining dragons. The highest level dragon will be it. If there is a tie, the oldest tied dragon shall be the leader. Level the tied dragon one level to make it better than its peers. [/LIST] After you finish your dramatic challenge, go back to the recruit stage (either the next day or immediately) and go again. Keep whatever pace you want. But he was likely not going to believe him. Hand gripped around a very sharp knife, Pretzel crept into Plum’s quarters where he found the spiral, as usual, still awake. “Haha, heyyyyy boss,” he muttered, his usual sly tone sliding out of his mouth. “What’s good?” “Not much,” Pretzel said. “Literally.” “Oh yeah? What’s the sitch?” Pretzel wandered around Plum’s quarters, fairly drab in design, and stopped when he eyed the safe, gold plates pleated on the door in the same glimmer as Plum’s. “Well, you know about that two million treasure heist we just did?” “Oh yeah!” chimed Plum, wriggling around himself. “That was sick!” “Truly. So can you tell me why the books said we only raked in one-and-a-quarter million treasure?” Plum stopped immediately. He didn’t pale, as it wasn’t something spirals did. But his pupils dilated harshly. “Yeah… yeah, it really ended up being only one-and-a-quarter million.” “Like hell it did,” Pretzel retorted, yanking his knife into view, ready and willing to use it. “It was! Pretzel almost seemed to back off, but his muscles twitched suddenly as he launched himself to Plum’s neck. “But not with my money.” Pretzel slashed harshly through thick neck and sinew, making sure to dig deep so he heard the raspy breath from the pooling blood in Plum’s lungs. Dying rather quickly, Plum was unable to close his eyes, and the lifeless glassy gaze of the Money Man stared up at Pretzel from the ground where he collapsed. Pretzel yanked the safe from the ground, making a mental note to threaten Cyber later.
