Alt title, the 'Quest for Eternity' Aka, this is my thread for keeping track of my Pinkerlocke progress, as well as a way of keeping track of any rules that I've added on for extra spice. Added rules:

Only battle stones obtained through grinding the nuzlocke team can be added to any of the dragons within the nuzlocke
Health potions are allowed, but resets are limited to when all three fighters are low on health. Running away is not allowed (partially to save my food lol)
As soon as a level-up is achieved, the team will be pulled from the fight to add new stats, breath be damned. If the team levels up and reaches the level cap of a venue, they must be pulled into the venue above them (ex, my team reaches level four, they are banned from grinding training fields and must go to woodland)
If a dragon dies, then their replacement must weather the venue the highest member of the team is in (may change later if impossible)
Breeding is only allowed between dragons of the same rarity or one higher. If that's not the case (as all of them are randomly picked), then they must receive one new gene
The amount of hatchlings that survive will be picked based on a random number generator. The rest will be fed to Luminax. Surviving hatchlings will be added to the nuzlocke as eligible replacements
ONE FAINT is allowed per venue. This includes all three dragons
Picking new dragons involves picking one adult dragon off of the auction house for the lowest number of treasure OR gems, so if the only choices for one currency are so ugly I can't bear to look at them, then I have a second chance. Breed is, of course, determined by a random number generator
All nuzelockers will have a name that ends with 'e' to fit a running theme, and may only be renamed if they survive the end of the nuzlocke, after which they can properly join the clan
Brief Lore Overview: Wanderers have come to the clan of the Emperor's Ruins to seek the secret of eternal life. Alt title, the 'Quest for Eternity'

Aka, this is my thread for keeping track of my Pinkerlocke progress, as well as a way of keeping track of any rules that I've added on for extra spice.

Added rules:
 • Only battle stones obtained through grinding the nuzlocke team can be added to any of the dragons within the nuzlocke
 • Health potions are allowed, but resets are limited to when all three fighters are low on health. Running away is not allowed (partially to save my food lol)
 • As soon as a level-up is achieved, the team will be pulled from the fight to add new stats, breath be damned. If the team levels up and reaches the level cap of a venue, they must be pulled into the venue above them (ex, my team reaches level four, they are banned from grinding training fields and must go to woodland)
 • If a dragon dies, then their replacement must weather the venue the highest member of the team is in (may change later if impossible)
 • Breeding is only allowed between dragons of the same rarity or one higher. If that's not the case (as all of them are randomly picked), then they must receive one new gene
 • The amount of hatchlings that survive will be picked based on a random number generator. The rest will be fed to Luminax. Surviving hatchlings will be added to the nuzlocke as eligible replacements
 • ONE FAINT is allowed per venue. This includes all three dragons
 • Picking new dragons involves picking one adult dragon off of the auction house for the lowest number of treasure OR gems, so if the only choices for one currency are so ugly I can't bear to look at them, then I have a second chance. Breed is, of course, determined by a random number generator
 • All nuzelockers will have a name that ends with 'e' to fit a running theme, and may only be renamed if they survive the end of the nuzlocke, after which they can properly join the clan

Brief Lore Overview: Wanderers have come to the clan of the Emperor's Ruins to seek the secret of eternal life. Sheltered by a clan that shirked the Lightweaver to take the emperor Luminax as their god, they set out now to study the rampaging abomination in the hopes that it hides the key to immortality...whether they survive to find their answer is entirely up for fate to decide.

Day 2

Item obtained: Daydreamer's spines. Prognosis: Lore
...
Each had come searching for different reasons.

Of the nocturne, it had been a scholarly curiosity, one that had become a hunger for knowledge that far surpassed the boundary between what was acceptable and what was seen as insane. She was quiet, her words wise, but her eyes glimmered with a madness and a ferocity that went unnoticed by any and all who didn't think to look. Insanity, after all, was a subjective diagnosis. If you asked the scholar whether chasing after a magic that even the Eleven had shunned was worth the consequences of her actions, she'd have only laughed.

Of the guardian, it was a search for strength. The hulking brute was a warrior like no other; he craved the violence and bloodshed of battle, and would stop at no means to get to it. The clans of his homeland had long cast him out for his anger, but that mattered not to him- that he went nameless was a curse that rankled him like no other, beyond any punishment banishment was supposed to teach him. He fears not the claws of Almighty Luminax; all he wishes is to learn how to become immortal in battle, so that he might go down in the anneals of history as the first dragon to become a truly unbeatable warrior.

Of the tundra, it was a seeking of salvation. Cheerful and jolly was the bright-winged drake, but within he held a dark secret- a disease seeping into every bone of his body, sapping his strength with every pass of the season. Bitter irony it was, for him to be Plague's child, but he had long accepted his fate, and sought a cure only for the sake of his kin. If his family could be cured, he reasoned, than it would be worth any devastation that may be brought upon him. The desperation of the dying was not one to be taken lightly.

And so onwards they journey, to where only the brave and the foolish dare tread. To the shadow of the Emperor's Ruins, where the Lightweaver's folly hungers eternal, and the secret to eternal life, it is said, lies in the jaws of that almighty beast.

Day Four

Item obtained: Burrowing tail segments. Prognosis: Breed or gene
-None of the dragons are rtb, so upon some deliberation, Myre had his secondary gene changed from sludge to morph, because let's be real, being a slime monster isn't really going to get you too far in coliseum championships

Day Six

Item obtained:Haunting houndskull. Prognosis: lore
...
It ended with a steam gyre, of all things.

The Emperor's path was littered with many buildings still ablaze, and the ephemeral creatures had been circling the remains for days, their haunting cries splitting the still air over the ominous crackle of the flames. Small though they were, they offered a fierce fight, and the party had been on the verge of making camp for the night when the ambush occurred.

Myre had crushed one of the bird's wings in his jaws, and, gloating, had turned back to look at the rest of his team, gloating over a quick catch for a relatively slow fighter. In his moment of weakness, the movement left him with his neck open to the enemy, and that had been enough; with a fierce cry, a vengeful gyre had dropped from the skies, catching him off-guard and unprepared. First it took his eyes, pecking them out of his skull with a beak fierce and bloodstained, and then it took his throat, talons sinking deep into the soft flesh under hard, plated scales. The smug Guardian barely had any time to react to the loss of his sight before he collapsed to his knees, choking on his own blood, and perished before either one of his teammates could leap to his aid.

His body was dragged to the flames lapping at the ruins, and the fire took him with grace, welcoming it home in its embrace. Now he is naught but ash on the wind, his teammates long gone from that dreadful place; only a small stone etched with his name commemorates his passing, lost to a land that had already taken so much.

There is nowhere to go but forward.

Day 9

Item obtained: Intact stone relief. Prognosis: Lore
...
The new skydancer was an...odd one, to say the least.

Cyrce seemed to like him, and lingered in his company a fair bit longer than what she had done with Myre, but Faire was hesitant, and kept his distance from the other drake. Though the new dragon was charming, with feathers and scales that sparkled like gemstones, there was an odd gleam to his eyes that did not bode well to the gentle, feeble tundra. He had ambition, and desire, two elements essential to a successful hunt, but while Cyrce laughed and twined her tail around Limyre's, Faire chose to keep his distance, watching the two of them with wary eyes.

Still, it was one more body to throw into the path of Luminax, so he supposed that he couldn't complain too much.
