I'm always on the lookout for lionfish primaries to add to my tundra lionfish collection, and I found this little dude that I'm excited to breedchange! Figured I'd add him to the pond since he coincidentally happens to be XXX. Now to find a berry or red partner...only ones on the AH right now are ancients. I go with a food theme for the Cherry mom and a dye theme for the Crimson mom, so this one's named Matcha! Maraschino seems to really like green lol

And then I went down a rabbit hole looking for interesting candidates on the AH, checking their opposite colors, plugging those into Dragon Search to see if I could find any in active lairs that might be fodder, and then contacting those users to buy them. It was definitely time consuming, but I'm pleased with the results. Basically I'm just having fun with these pairs. Came up with silly names for the parents and I've been tossing apparel on them from what I have on hand and seeing what strikes my fancy, regardless of how ridiculous it looks. I also don't know if most people here are aiming for pretty hatchlings from their pairs, but personally I'm hoping for gloriously ugly babies from mine. I even tried to make sure each pair has at least one less popular gene and/or breed included to get more of those out there. If anyone happens to be interested in buying offspring not listed on the AH, as long as they're still in my possession just contact me about it and I'll be willing to sell. Chances are once they're adults I'll take them off the AH to train and stick them in my Den for future exaltation, but I don't mind rehoming instead.
