START YOUR JOURNEY!
#1 - Introduce yourself! - 5 points 16th may
(no photo needed) Tell us about yourself! How long have you been here? What flight are you in? What do you like most about the site? Anything you like!
Hi! I'm Bee, I first signed up on the 18th of May 2015 (nearly the anniversary!), though I've gone on some hiatuses over the years, but have stayed true to the Ice flight (mostly for the eyes as I guess I'm closer to other lores in some ways, and do tend gather nature and water (and sometimes light) themed dragons a lot).
I'm FR+9 so I do tend to answer at questionable times. Times being occasionally questionable because I am a night owl and really ought to be in bed...
What I love about FR is the multiple sides to it, the variety in gameplay and how I've seen it evolve over the years (and how it's possible to catch up even when you take breaks!) It's a comfort place!
#2 - Create your nametag - 5 points 18th May
If you're going on an adventure, it helps to have some ID... just in case. It should include your user name, user ID, and the year. But, feel free to include any other personalization you like. Show it off! (If you lose it or something happens to it while you're out adventuring, just stop back here to make a new one!)
I made two because I expected to mess up ^^' (and yes, drawing isn't my forte...)
#3 - Assemble your party! - 5 points 16th May
(no photo needed) Never go alone. It's much more fun (and safer) to go exploring with a group. Ping a friend or two that might like to join you!
Pinging @Daelf, maybe to explore the garden? ^^
#4 - Designated Explorer - 5 points 16th May
Who will be representing your lair? (no photo needed) Show off your most adventurous dragon.
Not technically my most adventurous dragon, but she was my random progen and has nature and kindness etched in her soul (and in her skin, because her colours are of the eyeburning variety) and therefore a good guide to wander with and cuddle along the way! Here's Sencha:
#5 - Look the Part - 5 points 16th May
(no photo needed) Head over to the Dressing Room and put together the perfect attire for your journey. Share it here!
Taking full advantage of the Dressing Room apparel slots I tried to gather as many nature-dwelling friends for the trip! (Some don't appear as they... overlap, choices, choices)
GATHER YOUR EQUIPMENT
It's important to be prepared for any condition. Make sure you have the following.
#6 - Backpack - 10 points 18h May
Some form of bag or pack to carry all of your supplies.
Is that bag bottomless? Yes, yes it is. Also very very heavy when full...
#7 - Comfy shoes - 10 points 18th May
You said comfy, not clean *hides*
#8 - Extra socks - 10 points 18th May
Put a few items together here too (those socks are actually a gift for a friend but I have every intention of buying myself a pair at some point because they're *-*)
#9 - Bandana or scarf - 10 points 18th May
Khaki leaves, knit it myself, it's one of my favourites *-*
#10 - Rain gear - 10 points 18th May

EXPLORE THE REGION
A true explorer is likely to encounter all sorts of terrain. Find something to represent each of the following.
#23 - Desert (sand) - 10 points 18th May
Not the clearest picture...
#24 - Jungle (leaves) - 10 points 18th May
#25 - Savannah (grass or scrub) - 10 points 18th May
#26 - Tundra (ice) - 10 points 18th May
Yeah, my freezer might need some help...
#27 - Wetlands (any outdoor body of water) - 10 points 18th May
I found loads of containers with rainwater but this one was the murkiest...
#28 - Mountains (rock) - 10 points 18th May
I strongly suspect those rocks to be ones I collected on the beach and left where my dad could re-use them...
#29 - Forest (tree or branch) - 10 points 18th May
I honestly thought the branch would stand out better >.<
#30 - Wastes (dirt) - 10 points 18th May
#31 - Meadows (a flower) - 10 points 18th May
Bonus extra flowers (apple tree!)
ENCOUNTERS
There's nothing quite like the great outdoors (until it starts fighting back). Get out there and see what you can discover of Nature's beauty!
#32 - Bird - 10 points 18th May
Blue ***! Did as you said, took a picture once the bird was gone because it was closer than the camera/me.
#33 - Bug - 10 points 18th May
I wanted to take pictures of bees, but when I grabbed the cardboard to make the nametag there was this on it...
#34 - Footprints or tracks - 10 points 28 May
AND
#35 - Mammal - 10 points 28 May
So I had to resort to drawing for those (the only time I encountered mammals during the two weeks was either humans, or other people's mammals with no ID (mine, that is). I used a reference for the cat because I'm really not that good but it didn't turn out too badly? that's a bottle of ink in the top right corner in case that's not clear ;)
#36 - Sunrise or sunset - 10 points 28 May
If this isn't the worst image you get for this quest it's probably close second (sorry :s) Taken a couple days ago at a weird angle through a skylight...
#37 - Seeds - 10 points 18th May
Extra snack!
#38 - Brick or stone structure - 10 points 18th May
RELICS
One of the most exciting parts of an adventure is all the artifacts you can collect. Find your own "treasure" (something of value to you) for each of the following.

#40 - White - 10 points 18th May

The case for my glasses. I don't need them all the time but I should wear them more...

#45 - Green - 10 points 18th May
Knitting supplies with dragon scales (unfinished...) bag, my favourite crochet stitch!
#46 - Blue - 10 points 18th May
Plastic ocarina, the sound is actually fairly good and it's easy to play!
#47 - Purple - 10 points 18th May
Mp3 player, nature sounds and lot more *-*
KEEP YOUR ENERGY UP!
#48 - Outdoor food - 25 points 28 May
(no photo needed) Make sure you supply yourself with some good nutrients. Share a recipe for something that can be prepared in the great outdoors.
This question reminded me of a field trip we did with my junior high school science club. (We didn't go very far, there were few of us, but it warranted a lunch break for some reason?) My recollections are vague, but it went something like half a baguette (if you hadn't guessed where I'm from yet...) a can of something fish-y (terribly difficult to open so it wouldn't open by mistake, but also difficult to open on purpose especially if you're in your early teens and have the strength of a dead fish), a thin plastic butter knife (not kidding...) to put the aforementioned fishy substance onto the bread. (It was easier to break the knife than the bread...) I'm pretty sure there were other things as we didn't starve, but basically this is something I'd advise *against* (or in favor of preparing in advance!)
I do remember a kindergarten camping trip (don't ask, I know I didn't) that featured bananas and dark chocolate, somehow handed back to our tiny little hands warm (the former coated in the latter) wrapped in tinfoil, which sounds ideal and delicious but I never encountered the technique again.
Since I'm not sure that counts, let me share my own personal favourite sandwich that will make everyone question my food choices: mustard and raspberry jam (in toast). French mustard, of course, not too harsh, it's worth a try! Doesn't keep *that* long but it beats having to trek with a jar of mustard that's likely to break (or worse, once of those little tubs of the thing that'd just implode).
DOCUMENTATION
You did bring a journal, didn't you? Keep track of your findings for posterity.
#49 - Cartography - 40 points 28 May
Be a cartographer and test your map-making skills. Create a map of your lair or the territory you explored (real or imagined).
Featuring from left to right: The source of all power, the pond, the yarn hoard, the notes, the resting place, the great wall, the trees and blooms, the grass, and the hives. Which is basically everything I can (and some things I obviously can't) draw... It was fun though!!!
#50 - Epic tale - 40 points 29 may
(no photo needed) Like a true historian, write a story about your adventure (real or imagined).
