Then built a pillar
And he slept at the base

Then the pillar broke
Those eight deities awoke
Now he lives in Dragonhome
Protecting his kingdom

Everyone wants him, they fall ever fainted

This is loosely based off of my lore plans for Plunder.

Think of the people you spend all your time with

Always I’d loved them, for years I had loved them

I’d had this freedom and knowledge and fun

Everyone told me that Marva was joking
And then it was taken away

So the Which Waystone when it was awake
Drove others mad with its jabs

Thought of the people I spent all my time with
How they made me feel, then what I knew
I had to leave them to search for the Waystone
To do as all Guardians* do

One single day is all it takes
Searching for someone I don’t know
What if they were right or I’ve failed?
No.

*In my lore canon not 100% of Guardians feel the call to The Search (though it's pretty close), this is a slight exaggeration for purposes of songwriting.
