The ground is shaking again, but now, instead of monsters popping up out of the ground, the ground itself begins to break apart. Large cracks cut through the arena, and several dragons are caught by surprise. [b]Direeye[/b], who had been sleeping peacefully next to [b]Arnold[/b], barely has time to wake up before the ground opens up and swallows her whole, leaving behind all of her [b]supplies[/b] to a startled and distraught [b]Arnold[/b]. Elsewhere, [b]RuneScraper[/b] is awake and had been wandering the arena all night, looking for other tributes. He hears the grumbling, but when he tries to dodge one opening, another comes in behind him. He trips, hits his head, and goes down the rest of the way. [b]Aracaryn[/b], having avoided every disaster and tribute since the Games started, runs out of luck. He gets trapped by a cliff face, and as he huddles by it, the tremors of the ground opening up proceed to cause the rock wall to shake as well, and large pieces break off and rain down on him. He can either dodge and fall into the deep, dark crevices around him, or he can stay and get crushed. He attempts to jump across the crack as a last ditch effort, but is thrown off balance by one stray falling rock. He hits the edge of the crevice hard, his claws useless as he plummets down below. As quickly as it starts, the rumbling ends and the cracks stop forming. Stunned silence fills the arena after three cannons fire in a row. This had been a lesson; things can go wrong at any moment in the Games. [center]~~~~~~~~~~~~ @TheAwesoMew @Avrap[/center] Ah, our first Death Streak, and it ends with all three dragons dying. [b]Aracaryn[/b] didn't stand a chance at level 1, and [b]RuneScraper[/b] lasted a bit longer but ultimately got wiped out as well. It was [b]Direeye[/b] who lasted until the seventh round, trying to survive off of just four points of HP. She even used her potion to heal herself, but alas, it wasn't enough to save her. As for who gets the battle item, that would be [b]Zelda[/b], [b]Aracaryn's[/b] district partner funny enough. Since they were together and in an alliance when she died, [b]Arnold[/b] gets all of [b]Direeye's[/b] stuff that had been in her personal inventory. Everything else that belonged to the other dragons who died has been lost. And with that, two districts fall out of the running. [b]District 8 (Shadow)[/b] and [b]District 5 (Plague)[/b] have had all of their tributes killed. There are now [b]16 dragons[/b] left and [b]9 districts[/b] still vying for victory. Weird, I got a Discipline from pinky today too

@Avrap yea, it was hard seeing Direeye go. I kinda got attached to her cause I really like snappers and she was the only one, but what's done is done I suppose [emoji=snapper sad size=1] loll that's funny, guess Pinkerton just had an influx of disciplines from Crim to give out

I wonder if that means Crim will ask for more disciples soon

Woah, things have really heated up while I've been gone! Ironically enough, I also got a Discipline from Pinkerton today--I guess he's out for blood! Crazy to think that two districts have been cut this early :o I'm really excited to see what happens next!

He now has extra protection while in the coliseum. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ @TheAwesoMew @Avrap[/center] Very small update today since it was just an apparel drop. Of course, [b]Avekir[/b] was the one to gain the extra life again, despite already having two familiars. He now has three lives ! Meanwhile, many dragons are starting to get low on their health. These dragons have under [b]five days[/b] before they starve and die in the Games. They'll be hoping to be picked for the coliseum, or for a more fortunate dragon to make an alliance with them.
