Lore Task: We're going to be talking about games this week! Games can be played for many reasons, from pure recreation to being used as teaching tools. What sort of significance do board games (or games in general) have in your clan? Are they used for clan-bonding and relaxing? Or are they reserved for hatchlings? Tell us all about it! Alternatively, if your clan doesn't play games, tell us why!
In my Clan, they're honestly just for relaxation more than anything. There is a designated 'Game Night' once every two weeks for all members of the Clan that are currently in the Lair to just relax, play around and bond, but mostly members of the Clan play games as they please. The only biggest thing is where once a month the entire Clan plays a fun, Xtreme Version(TM) of Capture of the Flag (the Flag being one of the Clan members chosen at random to play damsel in distress basically) as a way to make sure the entire Clan is 'fighting fit', but honestly like Game Night it's just a silly bonding exercise more than anything. The entire Clan takes it pretty seriously though; winner gets first pick of dinner and dessert for the week following. :)

Making up concepts, drawing colorful boards, carving intricate playing pieces, drawing lively playing cards... It's what they love. When dragons come together to play a boardgame, they rarely use the playing pieces that come with it: acorns, pinecones, self-made pieces and even the thooth you lost in a fight that one time- creativity knows no bounds! Objects that have emotional significance to the dragon are especially popular and are believed to bring them luck during the game. Though they are a mostly gentle and laid back clan, when playing games and especially showing of these piece, they get suprisingly competitive. Usually every few months, when the mood of the clan gets down, Coreopsis will collect every member of the clan to a giant boardgame meeting, the perfect ocassion to show your mother's sister's best friend's cousin how much better your at carving than her!
I just realized how long this got (?°?°)?... I wanted this to be a short summary and this is probably comepletely unstructured, because I litarally just vommited whatever came to my my onto this post...

Sunday Signed up for the Labyrinth just in time! Lore Task: The Enclave isn't traditionally known for games - the scholars might try their hand at a crossword or Sudoku, and Matrix is known for playing chess against herself - but most consider themselves far too 'serious'. The hatchlings of the clan are usually given over to Alliance, who is a bit of a stick-in-the-mud and spends most of his time teaching his charges to read and write and recite epic poems and doesn't leave much time for play. But that was before Celendine arrived. Despite being an Ancient, she is young at heart, and has cleared out a glade close to Aster's garden which is dedicated entirely to play. She firmly believes that through play, one can discover their innermost self, and finds that troubled souls are more likely to open up when playing something interesting. She keeps giant sets of many favourites, both old classics as well as newer offerings. Celendine loves nothing more than making up her own games too - the latest craze among the young ones is 'Hunt the Sock', which is exactly what it sounds like.
