Pick two dragons at random. They are now in a relationship. If one gets exalted, so does the other. Their fates are bound together. They have been dramatically betrayed by the others a la the ides of march. Determine a new leader from the remaining dragons. The highest level dragon will be it. If there is a tie, the oldest tied dragon shall be the leader. Level the tied dragon one level to make it better than its peers. [*][b]Tomb Raider[/b] An interesting building has been found.Take two dragons of your choice into any venue they would not gain XP from. They must fight until an openable item drops. Venue doesn’t have one? Too bad; now they have to find an item that can be hoard-sold for more than 100 treasure instead. [*][b]Fate or Chance[/b] A random dragon has a chance encounter with Madame De Euryale. Flip a coin. [indent][LIST] [*]Heads- You have pleased her; she tells your fortune helping you avoid misfortune (extra life). [*]Tails- You have angered her; shes whispers a curse. Next challenge this dragon is automatically volunteered. [/LIST] [/indent] [*][b]Will o' Wisps[/b] Two random dragons get lost following strange lights in the swamp. Flip a coin for each. If heads, most of them manage to escape; exalt one random dragon. If tails, two random dragons fall during the escape and must be exalted. [*][b]Take a Gamble[/b] The two highest-level dragons undergo a risky operation. Flip a coin. If heads, they both survive and gain a level from the daring endeavor. If tails, take both of them into a venue matching their level and exalt whichever one faints first. [*][b]Heeding the Call[/b] One random dragon forms their own group. One other random dragon goes with them. This new group acts as its own mini-fodderlocke and does the daily phases. Only one new mutiny group can exist alongside the main group so things don't get out of hand. Any time this result (19) is rolled by the main group, one random dragon joins the mutineers. Any time only one dragon is left in the new group, exalt the last remaining dragon and remove it from play. If for some ungodly reason a dragon ever gets to level 25, crown them the lord of all fodder. Give them stats & stones and pull them out to make them your new 2-fod trainer. Or exalt them for being too strong. Hunting trip; find an openable[/i][/center] A dust-coated nocturne poked half-heartedly at the remains of a small tent, before turning to the larger imperial that was sorting through a haphazard pile of camping gear. "How do you think he's handling it?" "Handling what?" the imperial asked in a disinterested tone. "The difficulties in bonding with a new familiar," Kyras answered sarcastically. "What do you think I mean? Losing the challenge to Datlow, being exiled, travelling halfway across Sornieth, stumbling on this creepy place and deciding to set up base. Take your pick," she finished with a huff, flinging up the remnants of canvas to reveal a pack and some bedding. "Overall, it's going better than I thought it would after he lost the duel. You don't think we'd be much better off if we were still following Datlow do you?" The nocturne sighed, "Of course not, Glint was right, he was going soft." "And he was able to get those mercs to join up with us. Plus, finding out about these ruins was a bit of good luck, it seems there's always new groups of historians and archeologists looking for any little pottery shard they can get their claws on, and we have a whole set of ruins to ourselves." Kyras looked up from the pack, "Yeah, it all sounds good, but... being here now, it just seems weird is all." Madee looked around at the shadows creeping across the edges as the sun dipped lower. "I suppose so, but I think you've mostly been spending too much time listening to Brumrian's fireside stories. Once we have the base set up more, it'll feel more homey." She gently nudged nocturne with her leg. "Besides, we've also looked after each other just fine. We'll do the same here." Kyras cocked her head to grin up at her. "Let's hurry up and pack up whatever gear is still usefull and head back, looks likes there's a few rations left that are still good." [center][b]Found:[/b][item=leafy pack][/center]
