'Astrap goes around the edge of the ice floe, casting spells along the perimeter. Its just a simple obscuring charm, really, usually used for pranking one's friends. But amplified, it can be truly useful; his partner's enchantments may be what will keep them safe in the event of an attack, but his own enchantments are what stops them from being attacked every two seconds, something no amount of defensive spells could possibly save them from. He whistles while he works, proud of the ways he's repurposed such mundane spells.'

'Finnara trudges through the snow, bracing herself against the wind. What feels like a billion faes cling to her mane for dear life. The wind isn't even that bad. She's not going to deny the faes an easier time travelling, she knows they can't fly too far, but really, this wind is not going to blow them away. They'll be fine. It occurs to her that none of the faes are really weighing her down too much. Maybe the wind is a bit of a threat to them... they're so light, with those parachute wings. It probably is for the best that they hold onto her.'

It's a simple spell, its fun to watch the kids pounce at the little orbs, and, most importantly, it keeps them out of his hair. Plus, its good practice for him. The kids may enjoy practice hunting his tail, but there's only so much of that he can take. Given an option, he'll take the one that results in his feathers being less ruffled any day.'

'Fever stands in a room, surrounded by at least a dozen mice. He is attempting to cast some sort of spell on one of them, waving his hands around magically, and sticking his tongue out with his eyes tightly shut; this kind of work takes a lot of concentration. Nothing seems to be happening... until he is snapped out of his concentration by a tiny sneeze from behind him. He whips around to look at the offending mouse, who continues to sneeze. Delighted, Fever races out of the room, laughing as he goes, excited to have finally created something resembling a sickness! Unfortunately, he had neglected to notice the white downy feather the mouse had been sniffing at.'
