Saharath awoke refreshed and renewed and ready to fill up her bag for the Earthshaker!
She took stock of her surroundings. The cliffs she’d backed up to for camp were extensive. She noted the greenery that indicated moisture farther on, and headed in that direction to check for caverns. Mushrooms grew in dark moist conditions, she knew, and that seemed like a good place to start gathering.
She didn’t expect any other dragon to have the same idea, and was taken aback when she spotted another draconic figure very clearly heading in the same direction. The sun was in her eyes, so she couldn’t quite make out who it was. She hoped she wouldn’t have to fight someone off first thing. She didn’t want to waste time when she had food to collect!

Vermello decided to pick some cherries tonight in hopes of filling himself. He didn't know that one of them would be a trap since he's not stupid enough to fall into one. Unfortunately for him, he picked a cherry that didn't seem quite right and dropped it into his pile unknowingly. He heard a crack and boom as the firework went off. The cherries he picked exploded and the red goo got all over his claws. Maybe next time, he will be more wary of what looks strange and not to be picked so this doesn't happen again. He has no food for the night to consume oh well.
"We take pride in what we do as Gen 1's but this just doesn't cut it," he murmurs to himself. He lies down and proceeds to wait until the next day.

Fall awoke, stretching his leaf-colored wings. He blinked and stretched, beginning to take note of the cave he had slept in that night with his allies.
He noticed moss creeping along rocks, and mushrooms popping up in certain spots around the deep, rocky cave.
He saw Saharath and smiled. "Nice sleep?"

Stardust woke up, reaching for his bag with bread. He patted it, finding it empty. And when trying to get a sip from his canteen, he found it was empty as well.
He looked around the area, confused, blinking sleep from his eyes. Looking at the space next to him, his eyes widened with shock and then narrowed with anger as he looked there. Sniffing the ruined bread with his water poured on top of it, he picked up the scent of Umber.
"No one, TOUCHES, MAH BREAD!!!!!" Stardust screamed at the top of his lungs. Following a scent trail left by Umber, Stardust was prepared to end her life when he found her small camp. But reminding himself of the rules, Stardust left, snorting and slapping his tail against the ground.
He looked up at the sky, only just realizing he had been separated from his team. Hungry, lost, and suddenly afraid, Stardust trudged on. "Why, Earthshaker, why have you done this to me?" he whispered, feeling small like a piece of prey. Finding a small cave which he could barely squeeze into, Stardust crawled in there, shutting his eyes and hoping everything would be better when he woke up again.

After digging herself out of the cornucopia, Fazluna gathered some food and other items from the mess that remained and set off in the general direction of the Pillar. To be honest, she didn't yet have a game plan, but remembered Damek's advice not to get so distracted by collecting food, that you didn't get to the Pillar in time to win.
Having said that, it turns out that putting your bag down while scoping out the territory isn't so smart either - it definitely feels lighter when she picks it up again, and upon investigation she realises that some of her peanut butter has gone missing... dammit. Realising that means there must be another dragon nearby, she shoulders her bag and keeps moving, not really wanting to deal with any confrontations just now.
As night comes in, Fazluna finds a spot she thinks will be secure and sets up camp as best she can. While she's pottering around, a water canteen mysteriously appears next to her bag... well, win some, lose some I guess! As she cleans out one of the remaining jars of peanut butter for dinner, she contemplates that overall the water is worth more than the peanut butter, so all in all it's been a successful first day. She curls up around her precious bag (and canteen) and falls asleep with a small smile.

(Sorry everyone for not RPing! I got way busier than I thought I would. At least Xanthophyll got knocked out early so it shouldn't be too big of an impact.)
How embarassing to be wiped out on the first night! Still, he's proud of himself for at least surviving the initial chaos at the Cornucopia. Well... Surviving might be a bit of an exaggeration. He turned tail and ran as soon as he saw how many dragons there were.
Now is a time he wishes that he had Serperior by his side for plant identification. Taro root and potatoes look the same to him but the Nature dragon can easily tell friend from foe when it comes to plants. It's not fair that food can bite back! He vaguely remembers something about tiny calcium crystals in taro when Serperior tried to prepare him for the games.
At least everyone looked to be having fun and he came across an elaborate familiar gravesite. Nines will no doubt want to hear all about it when he returns to the Ashfall Waste.

DAY 2
...that despite the freezing temperatures, dragons everywhere spent the night lined up outside store buildings in tents, waiting for doors to open so they could rush in and snag copies of Camping Simulator 2019 before supplies ran out.
Today's a day of strange spectator gifts. Out there in the field, we now have a pastel pyre and a travel-sized Ouija game. What this means, only the sender knows.
Sahiz searches for firewood. The campfire died out shortly after the Pearlcatcher left, and he's still hungry. How's a dragon to cook second breakfast with no flames? They're not, that's how--so he's just got to get more fuel. One has to wonder whether he remembers that he's supposed to give food to Earthshaker, not to his own belly.
When Fazluna locates Bilbo's camp, he's making dough for some tarts with the lard and flour he found at a baked goods cart that morning. Taking the lard, she heavily greases several of the stones around the camp, covers them with a fine layer of dirt and grit, and waits. When Bilbo inevitably slips and knocks himself out in the fall, she rummages through his pockets, looking for snacks.
To Fazluna's surprise, the only other thing he owns is... an onion ring? Oh, but look at that batter--so crispy and golden! It's beautiful. A precious find, even. She can't give Earthshaker something like that! It's hers, all hers... so she ties it on a string around her neck, stuffs the lard and flour into her bag, moves on.
Aequorea is in the middle of picking prickly pears and cactus paddles, easily avoiding the spines with her long fingers, when Raodin trots by, looking for a stream which might host some Croakers. So absorbed is he in this task that he doesn't notice her calmly sliding some paddles into his path with her tail feathers! It's only a moment later that he's dancing around, screeching, and falling over, his feet poked to bits. Unable to walk without digging all the spines in more, Raodin is forced to accept Fork's help traveling to the medical tent, where he'll get them all safely removed.
Umber has picked up a taste for hunting other dragons and waiting for a potential chance to strike. He stalks Nem for the better part of the morning, moving from bush to stone to tree to crevice in the dirt to keep his eyes on her, waiting for the perfect chance to spring an ambush and knock her out of the games. Nem can't shake the feeling she's being watched.
Braziliante figures the meat she's gathered will last a little longer if she can make a fire and cook it, so she searches for firewood. And maybe a little salt to help preserve it. If it's anywhere, it'll be here in Earth flight, what with all its many minerals on offer.
It turns out that peanuts aren't an effective ammo after all. Not if the dragon being pelted with them isn't allergic to them, anyway. Erin waits until Olivine is a short ways off from the camp before taking all the useless bits out of Olivine's weapon and running away with the cheese wheel.
Startled awake by the sound of someone shouting about bread, Agate decides to follow the noise and find out what's up. After a few minutes, she spots footprints in the dirt where Stardust has passed. Agate stalks him from a distance for a few hours, pausing only to wait while he mopes in his cave, hoping he'll unwittingly lead her to this bread he's talking about.
Vermello crests a hill, bag freshly filled with onions, and spots Deera and Jordan fighting each other from inside two deep cracks they've turned into trenches. Rotten tomatoes and clumps of mashed potato sail through the air, splatting the land all around! Sensing an opportunity, Vermello slithers down into the crack hiding Jordan and sneaks up behind the old Snapper while he's distracted.
Vermello bites an onion in half--bleh!--and swiftly claps them over Jordan's eyes! The sudden halt in attacks and Jordan's loud shrieks about burning send Deera running at top speed. Between the incessant watering of his eyes and the swelling of his eyelids, Jordan won't be able to see for some time and has to be taken to the medical tent.
Fall's search for some form of meat leads him to a pigpen with the gate nailed shut and a sign reading "DANGER: PORC". Glancing at the hogs milling about in their metal and bone armor, he swiftly comes to the conclusion that he'd be better off finding some other creature to catch--a nice, fat turkey, perhaps?
Friday is in a horrible state and can't bear it anymore. Curled up in a fetal position, crying, and clutching his stomach, he calls out to Fork, begging her to let him forfeit and take him to the hospital tent. She obeys and rushes him there posthaste. Unfortunately, willingly quitting the games means he may lose an extra item if someone chooses to go looting.
Riku wanders the Farms, ambling this way and that in a mostly fruitless but peaceful manner. If it's going to be difficult for her to find food, at least she can still get some nice walking and thinking done. It's a decent little break from hectic clan life. Plus, it'll give her a better sense of her surroundings!
Saharath is trudging along and humming to herself when she spots a big mostly-spherical shape up in a tree. Is that a beehive? Ooh! That means she can gather some honey. Honey's an excellent sweetener and preservative, and it doesn't easily spoil. A great find! ... Or it would be, if it actually had been a beehive. Instead, when she knocks it down, it turns out to be a wasp nest. We don't need to tell you that this is enough to require that she be taken to the medical tent by Fork.
I'd make a joke about how these are some of the Hungry Games' greatest hits, but I have to admit that nothing will ever top the Battle of the Barn. Still, these are admirable efforts by our players, and it's definitely shrunk the field!

10 PLAYERS DOWN. 14 REMAIN ACTIVE.
Bilbo, Raodin, Jordan, Friday, and Saharath have been knocked out.
A slightly late reply due to my still catching up on sleep.
Erin slowly opened her eyes, sighing at the unexpected warmth around her. She started to stand, but froze when she noticed the brightly colored membrane above her body. She remained still as she remembered the previous night's alliance, then wriggled out from beneath Sahiz's wing.
She took out her backpack, lining it with her sack and refilling it with her remaining firewood and several of the potatoes that had been offered. Shouldering it, she began to walk out of the cave to resume her scavenging.
Cursing, Erin began to gather some of the peanuts that had been fired at her off of the ground before making her retreat. Olivene was definitely playing for keeps. Without her foodthrower, though...
Finding the cheese wheel was a pleasant surprise. Erin had thought that the other dragon would surely take all of her food items, but if she had left it behind Erin would certainly take advantage of the situation. Tucking it and the various stolen parts into her sack, she set off again to find a camp of her own for the evening.

Exhausted from his previous adventures the past day, Vermello wakes up and goes out for a fly. "Well what do we have here," he mutters as he sees two dragons; a snapper and gao fighting in the distance. He stopped to pick up onions along the way and saw a perfect opportunity to take out a few more contestants. He snuck up into a crack behind the snapper unknowingly and prepared to do something a bit not nice.
He took out an onion from his sack and bit down on it so the smell would spread. He took the onion and clapped it over the snapper's face. "This must be Jordan huh?" He snickered and quickly glared at the gao. "And that must be Deera." Jordan screamed as the powder blinded him and Deera ran off at top speed to get away from this mess. Vermello sneered and proceeded to take refuge for the rest of the day.
"It's nice to know I managed to wipe out more contestants." Vermello thought of new tactics he might try tonight if he is lucky enough to not be outsmarted by others. He knows he's been defeated before but doesn't like admitting it to keep his pride up.
