I've decided I am going to pick the [b]oldest hatchling[/b] as my Heir, 'cause that's how heirs work. I was going to pick the "Ugliest" hatchling as the heir but that is too arbatrary and I wanted something that could be easily tracked and followed. I will update this thread with the progress as I go! I have no idea what I want as my final product yet, but I guess I have some time to figure it out... or I'll know it when I see it. I forgot I had planned out some nests to hatch on Halloween and got a little too generous with the usage of my nests, so to make room I had to hatch my ugly nest early (Who needs gems, right?) So I spent some time today looking for mates for both my Heirs. Cristobal's "Ugly to Pretty" challenge rule says that the heirs mate is chosen like the founders mate was, the only stipulation being that the mate had to be ready to breed with the heir immediately. I looked through the first couple pages for mates that would be RTB in 10 days (Cris's cooldown as of this post) and nothing was lining up, so I just searched for RTB and I fouuuuuund... I tried to take a little bit more time with the choosing of the mate this time, since I'm not really happy with the colors right now and want to get a different verity in there. My aesthetic seems to be natural, low-key colored dragons. They're beautiful. All of them. Happy New Year, everyone! The holidays delayed my updates, but I have been breeding away, anyway! I found Starsong a mate, and they nested AND hatched out A SINGLE MEASLY BABY just before the new year. I have the softest of spots for female Skydancers and tapir/striation has also grown on me immensely. Add onto that my perchant for dark, natural colors and voila! Thymara was the perfect mate!
