Quests & Challenges

[center]Welcome! I felt like trying out a new challenge and thought that this would be a fun one to do! I'm doing a variation of the [url=http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/qnc/1936380/1][color=purple]Breed Out the Ugly[/url] challenge. My rules are as follows: [emoji=planet size=1] [columns][color=transparent]XXXXXXXX[nextcol] [LIST] [*]The progenitors will both be the cheapest RTB male and female G1s listed on the AH at the time of selection. This is so that I can assure the colors of the first dragon I start with are as random as they can be. [*]For all future mates that are needed, they will also be the cheapest RTB dragon. However, these dragons will be triple-gened and XYZs. [*]Regardless of how many hatchlings are born in a nest, only the first one will be kept as an heir. [*]As an addendum to a couple of the earlier rules, I'm going to stick to common breeds only, so that I can progress this challenge as fast as possible. I have a distinct lack of mirrors in my lair anyways, so if this challenge can potentially get me a new one, I'm open to it! [/LIST] [nextcol][color=transparent]XXXXXXXXXX[/columns] I don't have a specific end goal in mind for this challenge, so we'll have to see! All I can really ask for is to end up with a gene and color combination that interests me. This is all about seeing where RNG will take me. If you happen to be reading this thread and find a hatchling that interests you, don't hesitate to let me know! I'd be happy to give them new homes if there are people interested. ^^

May 26th - The lineage begins!

June 20th - First Guardian heir & secondary gene obtained!
July 30th - Tertiary gene obtained. The Thylacine takeover begins
September 8th - First Tundra heir, Goat Boy graces the world with his existence
December 20th - First Mirror heir
2020
January 9th - Primary gene obtained & a multi-gaze in the same hatch!
January 30th - Thylacine's reign of terror has come to an end
July 20th - Beginning of the cool color takeover
December 25th - A primal was hatched! Unfortunately, it was not the heir.
2021
January 17th - The blue wave has ended
2023
December 30th - After a two year hiatus, I'm back!

That primary is probably one of my least favorite colors on the site. [center][b][size=4]2nd Nest[/b] Powerful is now RTB, so I've went out to get a new dragon for this challenge to be his mate! And the cheapest common, triple gened, xyz dragon I found was the ever wonderful... [b]Tempero[/b]! They have some potential for sure. I'll just have to see if any of the genes stick. They've been nested and have 4 eggs.

[center][b][size=4]The Second Heir![/b] The second nest has hatched! Though there were four kids, only the first one is needed for this challenge. I'm super happy to see that she picked up one of her mama's genes. From now on, every heir in this challenge will have a secondary gene, which is exciting! (I'll be keeping all non-basic genes for every scry I do in the future, as it is my goal to not have to regene them in any way. It's all for fun!)
