I don't give them stats or stones until I'm ready to use them - makes it easier to level them if they're not getting in the way of my mire flyer. That's one of the reasons Dral isn't finished yet- she has one Ambush because I started her before the coli revamp and now it's just such a slog with her. (I've seriously considered overwriting the stone just to save myself the headache!)

I train 95% in the Mire, and occasionally in Kelp Beds if I need some variety. The thing about the Mire is that I can take the 2-trainee build and run with it for quite a bit, which means that I can level and still exalt, or take a high-level and a low-level trainee at the same time. I prefer mixed-level groups because they always level up at different times, which keeps it a bit more stimulating than if they were leveling identically.

Aside from that, I kinda just dive in and let my mind wander. I coli on my phone, so I do it to relax before bed. It goes by faster than you think, especially if you level in batches - my first guideline was that everyone gets named and then leveled to 10. Now that that's complete and I'm closing in on my first bingo, I'm taking those 10s and leveling them to 15. From there I'll either take the round to 20 or individually straight to 25, but either way it distributes the slog a bit and gives me good short-term goals between "everyone is level 1" and "everyone is level 25".

It also helps that only about half my lair is actually g1s to be leveled - the rest are semiperma breeding pairs and those only go to 7 (so I can exalt them right away when I get bored with them lol)

I finished off one 25 and made a decent dent on a second (Tor), but a lot of my recent work has been in the higher levels and it just moves a lot slower. I also statted Jarkiv (Nature) to be a stwo-fodder trainer for KB, since these high-level trainees make it pretty feasible to grind some training there. I also slogged through the last few levels to finish off Dral (She had an Ambush, so I had to stat her as I went). Other roster changes - I sold Mirjahaal, my Fire mage, so I'll need to select a new mage to replace him soon. I'm also selling Ijaat, one of my unassigned Arcane 25s.
