He is named for Ossë from Tolkien's mythology, who is the god of tempests and storms.

How lovely, and what a perfect time to show off his newest kite acquisition. It was the right choice to be overdressed for once, even though Moon had poked fun at him before taking off from the Ruins he now called home. Mint admired the dragons around him in their trademark light green, uncharacteristically flattened a crooked feather, and nervously strutted his stuff.

I love him. He's a painter & musician and he also creates natural dyes for clothing, tapestries etc. This is just his normal outfit that he's in but it's very Windy.
